    The weather here way out west, on the other hand, is unusually balmy. With the current temperature (mid-day) at 56 F, and similar temps in the forecast through the weekend, it's more like March than January. I'm going to take advantage of it this weekend and do some fence repairs. The several days of wind last week were not kind to me.

    The "sad" is for the sadness of the story only. The writing deserves a "love", as always.
