Yes, Aidan starts to believe. I know he's a little bunny, but with each passing moment, he gains confidence! I hope that will show even better as the story will progress!

Thank you! I'm planning to bring the boys closer than ever

Chapter Twenty-Three – At A Stop “So, are you ready?” Heathcliff looked over his shoulder at Aidan. “Come, take my hand. I promise I won’t be all over you once you set foot outside the house.” “I have a feeling this might be a little too much,” Aidan said. “What am I going to say at work about this?” “Just that you are ensuring the success of the company through all means necessary. I’m sure they will appreciate it.” “The scary thing is that you may be right.” Aidan grimaced, but

Oh, I understood what the feedback in question was all about! Sorry for not conveying my understanding properly, lol! Just to make it clear, it was funny as hell! -

You're right about Heathcliff; he would be 'deadlier'. But I totally agree with you that Aidan should leave some feedback upon leaving that horrible workplace, lol! -

That's true, and I'm glad you remember that - which happened, I think, almost ten chapters back. But I have bigger plans for Aidan. You'll see! -

I think it can be especially hard when it's not about something that's overly in a certain way. And bosses dictate what kind of environment exists at the workplace. And, since they are humans, and have many different flaws, you can have some big surprises with how things stand in different places! -

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment! Aidan needs to work on himself, too, especially that denial! He will get there! -

The boss's speech was one of the hard things to write for this story, as it is difficult to catch language subtleties - especially when the language in question is not yours - to convey what's needed. Your comment makes me believe that I managed to get the point across, so thanks for confirming! -

Hey, Wes (now I'm the one being late), you're so right to hate Aidan's boss. I can only guarantee that you'll hate him even more as the story continues. As for Aidan, he tends to be a little stubborn and he doesn't want to be helped, determined that he should succeed on his own. All will change, nonetheless, so thanks for sticking with the story! -
Chapter Twenty-Two – A Secret You Already Know Aidan was pretty happy with how things were going, for now, as for someone like him, they could not have been better. He had tried to think of himself as being completely self-sufficient, at least after leaving home and going to live on his own. But it wasn’t fair to deny how nice it felt to go back to Heathcliff every day. The man always waited for him with a nutritious and delicious meal, a hot shower, and even hotter sex. Well, maybe he w

Hi, Gary! And no problem about the confusion. I guess it happens to the best of us!
-
We've definitely ... come a long way, lol! I feel like a relationship needs time to grow. Of course, sometimes, people could meet and match perfectly, but if that were the case here, I wouldn't have a story to tell! I'm definitely content that you notice all these little things. I tend to forget some of them, even if I'm the one who wrote them, lol! Thank you for being such a dedicated reader! (Also, your puns are to die for)

I'm so glad someone pays so close attention to what is going on between the two, and especially to the slight changes that occur so slowly that they might be easy to miss. Thank you for your trust in Heath; he only has good intentions, including when he wants to have Aidan relaxed through certain methods! (And I laughed at that last part)
-
Ah, I knew you would find a good gif to make my day! That's definitely Aidan, going through the hoops! (Even if there are no hoops, just obstacles, lol)
-
As they say, Wes, better late than never!

Yeah, they are both walking on eggshells, these two Well, they need a little bit of time to fit into their new life together, as it's a novelty for both. Thank you for always commenting!

I think he's starting to realize. And when the push comes to shove, Heath will do what's right Thanks for your comment, Timmy!

If it were only a spark It's a full-fledged fire! Yes, they are both happy, they just have to work out the kinks in their communication. Thanks a lot!
