I guess I did complicate the story quite a great deal toward its end. As for FDA, since you're asking, I'm of the opinion that companies will always push the guidelines and what is allowed to the very limit, just for more profit. Now, it's all assumptions on my part since I don't live in the US, but where I live, it's something common for products to be one thing - quality wise - when they are first launched, and for the quality to drop as they are no longer novelties. In particular, it happens to shampoos and detergents. How could that happen without altering the original recipe? All the answers will come as follows! -

I'm sorry you had to go through such an ordeal at a young age. I can't imagine how that would be, and when I lost someone close while in high school, it hurt so much that it can't be described. Men deserve hugs, too, and not only when something sad happens in their lives. So here is a hug from me. I know it's not much, but it's from the heart. -

That's what I think, too. If someone casually says the words, they lose their meaning, but if they are kept hidden and revealed only by accident, that means that they are true and growing from a deeper layer of one's soul.

If only Aidan would see it that way! It will become quite transparent, as the story progresses, why Aidan would be reluctant to this kind of offer. I thought it as part of his personality, hence one of the conflicts in the story.

I believe that sex of any kind, regardless of who's involved, must be handled with care. It seems a bit unbelievable that, in this day and age, people still have such a twisted image of what sex is and should be. The porn industry plays a part, but it is not at fault, since it is not created to offer sex education, but excitement for those watching and nothing else. There is still a long way to go, I believe, and as long as sex will remain - in some people's eyes, at least - as something that's debasing and ugly and not the expression of affection and pleasure between human beings, the problem will remain. -

The main theme I chose for this story is honesty, so you're right on all accounts. I got inspired in writing such a story by looking around at what happens in the world today, with all this social media that makes people assume fake lives and personalities only for the sake of impressing others. As an immediate result, they also tend to become distrustful, as they surely know, at some level at least, that everyone is faking it.

Without a doubt, history lessons teach us well. As for Sparky ... well, let's just say, it is a fair bet, and one that I support with all my heart! (But, really, how could US win against China? Chinese knockoffs are everywhere! And not only ... Anyone looking at their iPhones or sports shoes should wonder if the war hadn't been lost already ... I don't know how it's in other parts of the world, but the only way in my country to stay away from Chinese items of any kind, and that without spending half your salary and a kidney on designer stuff, is to go Turkish - especially clothes - they are better, not by much, but still) -

My characters have off-screen lives, lol! I just had Bella imagined as a girl who likes boys. As for other flavors of the vast palette of buman sexuality, I'm sure other authors would do a better job than me in portraying them!
