I believe that most of the questions you asked are readily answered in today's chapter. They all need to learn things about themselves, but Danny is the one who's going to learn the most about himself

Danny has hidden superpowers! He'll learn about them in due time.

Very well observed! He had trained to resist the weapon, so it wouldn't have been credible to have him die from only getting hit with it by a human and from quite the distance. Also, he's relevant to the plot!

Chapter Twenty – Good Value for the Money “So, you’re telling me that he should be dead, but he isn’t?” Danny asked, only to understand what sort of new predicament fate was preparing for them. Ever since the news told them that Theodore Pembroke was still breathing, he’d been in a state that felt powerful enough to make him lose his mind. “Vince did his best. But it’s not easy to take down an alpha. You need more than just the right weapon.” “Okay.” Danny ran his hands through h

There Is Always an Easy Way Out
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in There Is Always an Easy Way Out
Okay, and now to the resident analyst of Misaligned... please allow me to give you a nice badge that says that. I find it so interesting that you focused on that line from Alexander - keeping things to myself is wiser - that's a lesson learned. In the 'memory' chapters, Alexander will definitely come across as harsher than he is now. Alexander is the one character that shows the most numerous signs of growth. After all, Brad presents himself as the usual bro without a care in the world, while Lyn continues to have the same hang-ups that kept him - in some ways - in the same place for years. Lyn notices the changes, too. He sees Alexander now and his image of him from the past will suffer amends, without a doubt. We'll see where that leads. Ha-ha, and what an impression Bella made on the readers! The one who controls everything, down to the smallest details. She's good at keeping masks, at organizing her surroundings so that nothing goes to chance... does she sound a bit familiar? I'll let you ponder on this one (evil laughter in the background). -

Yet Bradley submitted himself to her... could it be he's into it? (This is just me, throwing shrimps and red herrings everywhere) -

So it might seem... but that's also something to be discovered. -

Ahem, ahem... there might be something here... you will all meet Luke, guaranteed. I bet you'll be as surprised as Lyn. -

Older siblings might feel responsible for the younger ones - but that also tells something about Bella's character. Alexander has his pet peeves, what can I say? -

Hmm... interesting theory. @akascrubber described Bella as sharp, and they're right on the money on that one. So maybe Brad didn't exactly say that... -

I have learned to commit to finishing stories So no worries! I will definitely finish it and have a resolution that - I like to think - will surprise everyone, and it will come across as satisfying. That's my pledge! -

Oh gawd, I'm terrible... when I read the last line of your otherwise very serious and to the point comment, all I could think of was: yes, they do want to... get off... yeah, I know, bad joke, but I had to say it Alexander has learned from Lyn to keep quiet - that's the silent reproach here. Also, a realization on his part that he doesn't have to go in 'like a wrecking ball' because it might not get him what he wants. For now, Alexander is patient, Lyn is mostly oblivious, and Brad keeps secrets. -

You're more than welcome But be ready to make a list of such chapters! This is really going to be filled with drama... Lyn senses something, but it's more like he sometimes just chooses to ignore the signs of the sake of a so-called 'peace'. -
[Memory, Freshman Year, December] – The Bitter Taste of Humiliation
Laura S. Fox posted new chapter in Misaligned
Chapter Ten – [Memory, Freshman Year, December] – The Bitter Taste of Humiliation The overcrowded burger joint buzzed with conversation as the last men and women standing – after their finals – were taking over the place to claim it as their own. The heat from the kitchen reached where they were sitting, making Lyn feel like his bones were melting. He had no plans for Christmas and New Year’s yet, but he’d figure something out for sure. Maybe he’d sell the belt his mom had given him after a- 37 comments

Just bring down the Internet! If you know, you know (for anyone wondering, the above gif is from IT Crowd, really funny British series, look it up if you haven't seen it - in this scene, the IT guy presents his colleague with the 'Internet') -

Anna is the real deal! I know that with so many things happening in the story, it might not seem like Jamie has any friends physically close to him right at this moment, but that will change. -

Ha-ha, thanks, but actually I'm only writing two currently - Misaligned and the sequel to Wolf in the City. Not that much of a genius, more like someone who can't sleep the recommended number of hours because of too many ideas in her head. -

Chapter Forty-Seven – Conspiracy “Did you think it would be funny to steal my glasses?” Hearst began strong, as soon as his brother picked up. “I didn’t take your glasses. And really, accusing me of stealing, right off the bat--” “Save it, Wen. I know you’re riding the LiveFeed bus and enjoying yourself like a pig in crap. What the hell happened to you? I used to look up to you, you know?” A short pause followed, but Wencel chuckled as if his young sibling told him a silly j

The last question will find an answer in the chapter I just posted. I won't reveal anything about Cassandra just yet... but the heroes will have to go to war with her!
