  1. They are indeed! And readers deserved the nice loving chapters...
  2. I guess so! Damn, I've become predicable! Or was I always....
  3. Chapter Eighteen – True Alpha They were both counting the seconds. Danny knew that a good way to spend their anxious waiting would be to stare at a clock on the wall, but he didn’t have any such thing in his tiny apartment. Therefore, they were left with the self-imposed torture of checking their phones now and then. Ryder had a dark look on his face. That wasn’t the face of someone who was about to meet his fated mate soon. Danny still couldn’t think of those words without feeling th
  4. I believe it is more about portraying family drama with the purpose to get people to avidly watch. There are so many shows that thrive on this drama thing. I personally can't watch them. First of all, because it's all staged, and second of all, because I can't stand watching conflict for too long without getting increasingly uncomfortable. But it's this sort of thing LiveFeed goes for. They don't even think too far. Wencel is the one who wants Jamie to get a bad rep. The show wants someone with enough drama to make people watch. But also... yes, Jamie will be - in the eyes of many - the guy with a certain type of family, the guy who strips for cash on camera... all of that. How many people would care to know him beyond that? They'll be satisfied with the labels offered. it's how the world works, whether we like it or not. As for your guess... well, don't tell anyone (imagine me whispering), but I believe we have a winner
  5. Hurt is coming Jamie's way, one way or the other. Cottontail... ah, just read the new chapter.
  6. That's right on the money.
  7. Oh lol, Joie J., do you want Wencel to marry Jamie? 'Cause that's the only way he'll get that name!
  8. Thank you, and the drama will intensify. The reveal comes, but with drama, of course!
  9. Things are just currently heading toward disaster... However, since this story is more character-oriented, the true drama will happen on the inside rather than outside. Yes, Jamie was too young. But that was his family, and that's something that will never change.
  10. Somebody has a dark mind... Hearst will appear, but his role will be quite different from whatever his brother has in store for him.
  11. I believe that the bad part of things here isn't what Wencel is imagining. It's about the drama that certain people might feel drawn to watch, with no regard for the feelings of those involved. I think I said it once - hopefully I don't experience memory loss - that Jamie will get hurt, and not necessarily by the reactions of those watching the show. That would've been something easier to handle than what he's going to feel inside. But I appreciate your feedback! What Wencel hopes for is to get his revenge by seeing Jamie feeling hurt.
  12. Chapter Forty-Five – An Ordinary Tale “Not interested,” Jamie said abruptly, attempting to get up. “Not so fast,” Wencel replied in kind and caught his arm to stop him. “How do you think stars are made, Jamie?” “I don’t know, and I don’t care.” Wencel offered him a sly grin. “You might not know, and I agree, but I do think that you do care very much. You wouldn’t be on this show if you didn’t want to be a star, adored by millions of fans.” “Chill with the millions. Your
  13. I understand that last statement to be so true, since I got the same feedback from other readers. At this point, yes, it all seems like we have this duo, and then a third person. But again, I remind you, my dear favored people, that Lyn is not the most reliable narrator...
  14. As always, I thoroughly enjoy your comments a lot! Let's see... Brad definitely cares about Lyn and he is also very territorial. If that's necessarily attraction, I suppose we'll see! Also, it might just be Lyn's fault for making Brad believe he doesn't even watch porn at all... Ah, I didn't even realize that I'm channeling - again! - one of the most famous couples in the history of romance. But yes, my characters tend to do that. You just can't take Jane Austen out of a girl's hands, I guess... I'm so happy whenever readers tell me that they understand Lyn's struggle. And yes, there's a whole history behind it, not all of it pretty. Actually, I don't think there's anything pretty about it, save for, maybe, that he truly enjoys studying and learning new things. But all will be revealed in due time...
  15. Lyn might just be too tough on himself to let his mind roam free like that... or his hands... Also, he'd be the type of guard his porn like national treasure, under fake names, several passwords, and maybe an alarm to trigger a full system meltdown if anyone attempted to discover it :))
  16. Well, he clearly is not a superstraight... let's leave it at that! All the characters will unveil themselves, although all of them will care about appearances, just to warn you.
  17. Tell it to Brad. He'll be flabbergasted by your logic!
  18. I love the no-nonsense characterization, Chris!
  19. I do appreciate a detail-oriented scientist! While I am a writer at heart, I graduated from high-school in a specialization that today would be considered STEM. So I can't go all artistic without agonizing if things make sense or not! This one will be a long one... Yep, more than 30 chapters for sure. Since I'm alternating between present and past, it's impossible to keep this one short (especially with everything I want to say with it and through it). You're welcome
  20. Chapter Seven – What Are We Doing? As much as he liked to imagine that by now Alexander was gripped in the throes of a well-justified panic, Lyn discovered quickly that he was himself instead, feeling annoyed by his own strange doubts. Why had they done that? Alexander had made it sound – and feel – like the sort of decision one made on the spot, just because it was fun and didn’t matter much. It had to count as an argument as good as any. Lyn chuckled and shook his head as he patted h

    It Is Enough

Ha-ha-ha, oh, yes, bingo! And that was a very creative way to say someone is talking crap, lol.

Or walk... at all... sorry, couldn't help it, lol!

    It Is Enough

And I can only hope that the one I'll show in the story will be surprising and satisfactory at the same time!

By design is the right way of saying it. Ryder gets confirmation over confirmation that Danny is right for him. But one, he's a human, and Ryder believes his mate has to be a wolf, like him, and two, Ryder can't risk having doubts. He's pressed for time and fate is an essential word in his vocabulary. At one point before he even thought Danny might be part of the curse, meant to make him stray. Hence the whole disbelieving. I reserve myself the right to surprise you with all the roles everyone plays And Danny will have to forget that he ever introduced himself as Average Joe (hint, he'll discover he's not at all average!)

OMG, why so cute? I want to fluff him hard now. Ryder is actually the one who doesn't think Cassandra is in all her right mind, but he got pushed by duty to seek out Theodore. He might think he had it all clear as day - as much as that could be said from Cassandra's ramblings - and the fact that Theodore showed himself to be a wolf only confirmed the whole thing. After all, Ryder doesn't expect the city to be full of wolves undercover, lol. But all will become clearer, much clearer, soon...
