Aww, you supplied nice insight on Clinton's mind... and thanks a ton for reading and reviewing.
-
I like this review, but I have to ask why you vilify Greg for remaining quiet and unfaithful, when Clinton has been unable to defend Corey at any turn. Back in Clinton's kitchen, the morning after, the party, the river, the wedding, the flag football game, etc. He was Cj's puppet through all of those and through all of those Greg was his rock. Now that Greg left and Clinton became that rock, Greg is now the "thorn" of sorts. Greg/Corey didn't have time to commit to one another. Clinton and Corey has, but that can only get them so far and 'if' Clinton goes back to the way he is around Cj, then there isn't a future there and never will be either. I think it is because Greg happened early and Clinton is happening now... for the most part. But the story as a whole - is Clinton any more stable and better than Greg at this point? I'd have to say not really.
-
Wow, you're moving through the story quickly. Thanks for leaving all those reviews. I tried to respond to a few of those, but didn't want to list any spoilers as you read through.. lol. Your reactions are nice.
-
lol. You got that right, the dog is a launching point. Poor Trouble.
-
Thanks for reading, Ricky. I'll try not to spoil it for you as you read.

Lol. I think it is a fair point, that Corey shouldn't have said anything to Greg, that Clinton was just saying those things to placate (is that the right word?) Cj in hopes of keeping their secret safe. But to Corey, it wasn't two or three weeks ago that Clinton probably would have said them and meant them.. or at least meant them enough to cause Corey pain/anger. That's where Corey is right now.. that even if Clinton seemed to have changed, what he has been saying hasn't.. so has he changed at all? You see all these good things that Clinton has done, but you can't forget that he played a major role in all the bad as well. And "Cj" I think earlier I kept switching from Cj to CJ that I think I was driving people crazy and my editor told me to pick one.. so I chose the one easier to type. I'm not even sure what the C and the J stand for, I don't think I've ever really mentioned it? If I have I can't remember. If it doesn't stand for anything, then the J would be lowercase? Or maybe I'm wrong.. haha. And the rink, yes. It was supposed to be a disaster date.. and taking a person banged up like Corey to a rink is a bad decision.
-
Hiii Benji, that is why the date bombed, yes? Or at least it should have been a fair warning that it would have tanked.. lol. Very dangerous, with a broken arm. And who is standing in shadows.. hmm, I can name quite a few people in that tiny town that are. The real question is, which ones will step into the light.

SIS 26 When I arrived back at Jenny’s house I sat in the car for a few minutes trying to calm myself. I knew it was foolish to let what Clinton said affect Jenny too. She had been nice to me, but she also had felt sorry for me too. She made that clear when she criticized Mom for quitting and taking over the store. Cussing Trouble under my breath I finally stepped out of the car and walked up to the front door and knocked. I hoped she wasn’t home, her car wasn’t out front, but it could have

I've always kept a nice vegetable garden when I lived at home and we had the space. I miss it terribly now that I live in the city and it is actually against the rules to have a garden such and such size.. a few strawberries and herbs is all that's allowed really. Knowing that really has upset me and each Spring is a bit depressing knowing that I can't tend my own garden, it's a very relaxing thing to do really. And that's just gardens. If I was to chop a chicken's head off in my back yard, I'd probably have the police called on me.. lol. I've not ever processed my own meat though, not even fish. It wouldn't bother me if someone else already killed it. Although, I'd likely not like plucking, it looks way too tedious and chickens stink. I've been around people who do pluck chickens, like my grandmother used to and there just isn't anything that looks more tedious and gross than pulling thousands of feathers off a dead chicken. Aaron calls me his bad luck charm. Ever since he's married me he's yet to kill a deer or a turkey. I wouldn't mind learning how to cut away the different cuts of meat form a deer, I know how to break down turkeys and chickens, even though I'm not a fan of deer meat myself. It's just too gamy for my taste. He doesn't think I would, even though I've told him. He should know by now that I pretty much do what I say. When I told him I was going to... ahh nevermind. But yes, that should be proof enough. Oh and I guess I should actually try to be on topic. People have lost the craft here as well.. in farm country. Not a lot of people are harvesting their own meat unless it is deer.. and even then they take it to professional butchers. Those are aging out of the practice as well though. Pretty soon the people that are going to raise and harvest their own meat are going to have to learn... or transition to store bought pre-packaged meats as well. We're just a few steps away from not seeing anything but those little packages. Right now though most of the people I grew up with have been around a good hog, chicken, deer, fish, turkey, processing more than a few times. There are a few of my mother's neighbors that still do it, but like I said, once they are dead their children and grand children have never learned the craft. A nice understanding from beginning to end would be nice. Although most people don't use it for educational purposes, but for shock value. Even trips to farms around here has turned into a glorified petting zoo. I don't think I would mind for the farmer to go into detail what it means in the winter when his pig is an adult and his steer is fat... I probably wouldn't want him to cut a chicken's head off right there, but eh, baby steps. Show a city person a Lion killing a Zebra and see what happens.. they look at you like you're the most ruthless person in the world and that's just natural animal behavior it has nothing to do with people... we're in a strange world when a cat can't catch a mouse without getting told off for being a nasty little evil killer.

Although they're not all that loud and crazy during the basketball games, the University of Kentucky fans are certainly something. You have the fans that criticize every single dribble, pass, and shot. There are those that can run weaker coaches completely out of town.. and then there are those that think every player that steps foot onto the court poops rainbows and gold.. So.. It definitely is "the" place to be as a Coach, but the fans really can make it a hellish environment. Not saying it's a bad thing or a good thing, just a passionate one. Then Duke's fans are infamous for being "crazies." But as a Kentucky fan, I just can't bring myself to truly acknowledge them. I damn near have to cut up my fan card for even mentioning them in the same post.

Congratulations Stellar. Keep up the good work. -
Congratulations everyone! Good work with the awards as always. Makes them seem larger since it is Oscar night... and I must say these are the best winner banner things yet.

Oh.. when is it my turn? Bend over and say a prayer, all I'm saying. But yes, Mann deserved his promotion.

I feel like a damn old ninny. I don't use Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and I only use Skype because Microsoft bitch slapped me and told that I had to. BUT I do use Youtube. Really though I do follow one author's Tumblr, she does get some nice Fan-art and does some artwork of her own for her characters.. so I like to check in to see if there is anything new there from time to time.

See there.. we Signature Authors don't play soo nice. Challenging us to a post war.. we just promote some of you to our side when the lines are a bit more even.

Addiction can come in many forms. People who 'have' to view porn before they can go to sleep are addicted to porn. Does it ruin their lives? Probably not, but it's still an addiction. Just because you haven't seen the adverse affects of something doesn't mean the threat of it isn't out there and real. Most people aren't even aware of their addicted behavior until there is some sort of interference that triggers the anxieties. We would never tell our children at age 13 or younger to go out and experiment with sexual partners, so why are we ok with them doing so virtually? And porn does offer unrealistic views on sex. As a sexually active person I know that to be true. The day that Aaron slaps me on the ass and calls me a whore is the day he's put into the rose garden out back. And people do pick up cues from what they observe. People are partly visual learners. A young person inexperienced could easily take their cues from pornography and apply it to their own experimentation, it's not beyond impossible. It's just not reality for a lot of people. It can become dangerous. We've become lazy with our children. We want them to click a few buttons on a computer and learn the ways of the world. We've also become too damn scared to sit them down and tell them the basics of sex. Well I'm sorry, but pornography just isn't going to be my substitute teacher or my teaching tool when I want to sit down my children and tell them about it. Oh.. and not to sound like I'm preaching or anything. I think a nice open communication bridge between parents and children is nice. I think Graeme has that, if he didn't I doubt his son would have told him. Teenagers fly off with words all the time, maybe Addicted is just one of them. I've heard it used like, "I'm addicted to People Magazine," or something. So he may have just used it because the word has become fashionable for something that he likes or enjoys. You have to know your children and observe them. Children mature differently, are more observant, have different self-esteems, and temperaments. I wouldn't want a child that has low self-esteem and has somehow been sheltered or oblivious to violence, sex, etc to experiment on their own. I would worry that they're doing more damage to their view of themselves. For a more out going, self-actualized teenager, I wouldn't worry as much if I saw porn on their laptop. But I would likely have sit down talks with them both, tell them they're no longer going to know any wireless passwords, and computer time is restricted to family rooms and no later than such and such time. If I'm asleep, they won't be on it. Shew I'm glad two of mine are still in diapers.

In a world where cyber bullying, sexual predators, and the like is on the increase, I cannot agree that teenagers should be allowed free access. I've seen children as young as nine or ten with very disturbing search histories. They are not equipped socially to fend off internet bullying or sex, those are difficult to maneuver for people in their late teens let alone their early teens. Pornography can lead to addiction, it is a strong addiction because it is so easily accessible and the addictions are so easily sated. Might lead to the person unable to separate their social life from their computer to develop strong and healthy relationships with people. It can cause social anxieties, anger management issues, a misconstrued view on sex and relationships. Could open them up to unsafe sexual practices, drug use, and becoming cyber bullies/predators themselves. They may develop body and self esteem issues. So no, free reign over the internet for young children and pre-teens and early teens should never be allowed in my opinion. They just aren't socially ready to deal with what they can easily find.

Good work Sharon.

Good job at tip toeing the line for so long. Keep up the good work and keep the stories coming for your many many fans.

I believe they represent a lot of gay people on chopped, I've watched plenty. Even one episode had a female to male transitioning transgender (I hope I'm saying that right, don't kill me if I didn't) so. Then I've seen plenty of lesbians on that show as well. Just because most don't come directly out and say one way or another. It's a cooking show for gods sakes not a who's homo and who isn't.. To not watch television based on what social, gender, race/ethnicity represented and what isn't.. is pretty lame.

Still yet, I don't like them. Too small. You don't have to see every inch that is there to appreciate the body under the cloth. And really, only certain body types look good in a speedo.

Thanks for reviewing Lisa! Yeah wayyy too many C names, add Corey's mother and you have Cora, Clinton, Cj, and Corey. I have a long love for names that start with C. Yes, Cj and Clinton are too bonded probably so much so that Clinton can't see how toxic the friendship may be. I've tried to be subtle with it with how Amber, Jenny, and etc react around Clinton, like calling Clinton his lap dog and all that. Definitely a big personality. And I think the correct word is piece, but after a good rant people tend to feel better so, peace works too. haha. Thanks again for the review!
