  1. Happy Birthday!!! Have a good one, Krista
  2. I found out about Gay Authors through Dom's Story links. I was convinced to post and become part of GA through a friend that told me it was better than Nifty and Yahoo Groups. Krista
  3. Extremely creative story, Cj! When I read it I liked the style and the changing POV's worked well and you made it flow. Definitely an original story that kept me guessing until the ending. I knew something scary would be happening... lol, shew... Anyway, I can't wait to read more fictions you come up with in the next few years. Krista
  4. Yes, I finally have a reason to like New Jersey... kidding, but eh. Maryland better or I'm going to have to disown my favorite state. The only reason why it's my favorite is because of the Men's College Basketball team.. and that was only because one of the former stars was cute... Anyway, Gay Marriage in New Jersey, I would have thought New York would have allowed it, but nice to see that other states are taking steps towards freedomes that people deserve Krista
  5. Well look at this forum.. lol. A bit amusing. Side note, baby goats or, kids are extremely cute. And someone said that they watched a show about Homosexual tendencies in animals and wanted to know what channel that was on. It was on Logo for sure, I watched it once at like 6 in the morning. 11. Hey, I voted for Friday. I believe if you're looking at it from a Marketing point of view that would be the best day of the week. It's before the weekend, but it's at the end on the week where things are more relaxing. I have learned over the two years that I've been writing that my yahoo group tended to be more active Wednesday - Friday in the summer. The weekends were pretty dead in the summer, but in the fall and winter the weekends are slightly more active. So It's also a seasonal thing. . I don't know about GA though, seems like this place is pretty active every day of the week so it probably wouldn't matter really what day a chapter is posted here. Krista

    WTF!

Hey, Well, I happen to like your writing. I wasn't aware that you were posting on e-fiction until today to be honest... sorry. You have it in you and people will read and like your work. So I know I'm like the worst person to tell you to be patient as I have a terrible time at being patient myself.. But be patient.. Personally I think the Anthology idea is probably the best way for Authors who want to become better known and established here. Being active does help too, but anyway, I do want to sit down and read your stuff. TTYL, Krista

    Homework

Lol, Well, Homework is something that I do not do until last minute now that I'm in college... haha, I also do believe that three to four hours a day is a lot, but that's not too crazy of a homework schedule really. There are some schools though that let the teachers over do it a bit. I mean Blake, my little brother has sometimes started homework at four and not get finished until 10. With me helping him a lot of the time. Then this year his schedule has been a little more relaxed, but he's making better grades. So I know that when a student has too much to do a night it creates a stressful environment. There are a lot of ways to teach and teachers that give more than two hours of reading and homework should rethink their methods a little. Especially if you have more than one teacher a day demanding that much time from you after you get home. I agree with you, the more people like a subject the better they learn it. In college a professor will tell you that you that you need to study for a certain amount of time a day just for their class. For my Biology lab my professor said that in order to succeed with an A we all needed to devote three hours a day to reading and studying. I believe him after my first test.. haha.. lol. So yes, as students we all hate homework. When I was in high school my activities were, Basketball Practice, Dance Team Practice, and Volleyball Practice in the spring. Then in the fall I had Dance Team practice and Conditioning for Volleyball and Basketball. So that would mean me getting home on some days around 10:00 pm. Then Doing homework from then until I got finished which could mean me not getting to bed until 3 in the morning.. haha. I put all of that on myself though. Krista

  25. Well at least they were honest during a survey. Some kind of hope for honesty and freedom I guess. I really do feel for the people who are pressured into living in a way that they know would make them unhappy. I also hate that we have to label and profile everyone just to be able to function. But, I see or hear about it everyday in Kentucky of the pressures. I mean I have been called a lesbian because I for some reason am not married yet. I've dated a lot over the years as well. In high school if you didn't ever have a boyfriend or girlfriend you were automatically labeled as gay or lesbian. Just stupidity, so the pressures for them to always be adamant about labeling themselves as straight is justified. Just another thing to frown on society for. Krista
