  2. Well I am nominating someone with 2,368 posts and has only been a member since February 15th, 2006. Can anyone guess who that could be? Krista
  3. ooohh yay!.. Well I have dial-up.. it's all they offer in my part of Kentucky... lol. Mom and her privacy issues have left us terribly terribly held back on the Internet situation... So, eh, after having DSL at college Dial-up about killed me to return to... so I feel your pain there.. Krista
  4. eh, I'm still here.. I've been doing a lot of lurking though... oops. Probably need to spend my lurking time on writing, but eh.. isn't happening.. lol. Yes, Cj, Graeme, it was weird not seeing the two of you competing for the top of the 20 top posters.. ... tsk tsk, you can do better. Krista

    So now I

Well this is upsetting really. I don't know how in the world he thought he could get away with it. The name Blaise is terrible anyway, poor guy. Desert Dropping is one of the most popular stories on the net period. Everyone I ask for suggestions on what to read has said, "Dom's Desert Dropping," I've already read it though. Well actually I've read it twice.. lol. Anyway, what is yours will return to you. I just don't want to think about how many times our stories really have been copied and us not been given credit for it. It's just an icky thing to do.. bleh. Good luck with the Admins at FF.net. Hey Well I didn't start out writing gay fiction. I actually have three novels on hold. One of them are finished, but I'm not comfortable enough to have someone look at it that's not friends or family. I hadn't really been a gay fiction reader as much either. So, how did I end up in Gay Fiction? It was my friends, I have three gay friends that pointed out to Nifty and they challenged me to start writing gay fiction. They couldn't get into most of what Nifty had to offer so I started, "Something Unexpected," and with their encouragment you get what I've done so far. Now though, they're too busy to read. That's their excuse anyway. So really I started writing by myself. It was after my junior year of high school when I wrote a short story. Krista

  17. Hi Cj, The prologue was enjoyable. There were some things that I found, but they were already pointed out.. lol. There's a lot to this story that is great. The description of the car was an attractive quality... lol. A guy that knows and enjoys a nice vehicle has always been amusing. Anyway, good start. I like where you're going with it. A lot of conflict can come from this prologue... So keep it coming. Krista
  18. Well 2000 posts in less than a year... Wow You still have two months, wanna make it 3000? I believe you have it in you. Pretty impressive for a lurker haha.. Congrats, Krista
  19. Well actually gifts that you can both do together would be something good. If it's a new relationship it could count as a date and a gift if you get like tickets to a concert or sporting event or something like that. Krista
  20. Well, Character development is what I look at first in my own writing. That's why I voted the way I did. I do though think a lot of factors are needed before a good story is made. Just answering the question in a way I look to write. Krista
  21. WoOt!! Congrats Kitty! Krista
  22. Well that article may have been satiric, but the other discussions in there that were full of opnions and facts actually was helpful in determining what I want out of one of my stories that I'm currently working on. So, David, i'm thanking you in a way for posting it.. lol. I certainly had the story going a different direction until I read some of the comments made on that site. Krista
  23. Hey, Well all I know about DST is that I always forget when to set all my clocks and I end up throwing a tantrum when I'm being woke up by a very cranky mother. Of course it's only when we lose an hour and the brats were late to school.. lol. Now I don't have to worry about it as I'm not responsible for their transportation, but shew. Anyway, DST, all I know about the History is that in Kentucky it really pissed the farmers off for some reason. I think it shortened their Harvest time in the Fall. I don't see any real reason to maintain DST, except people aren't to accustomed to drastic changes. AND, I'm so proud of you for finally starting a blog. I mean how can one of the most PROLIFIC members of GA not have one? Now we get to see how long winded you are. I hope you have fun with your blog, and I'm glad to be one of the first comments Krista
  24. It's always difficult knowing that someone is no longer with us. Especially someone that has enlightened and entertained. Added to the quality of good writing. I didn't know him, but I have read some and I know he'll be missed. Krista
  25. Happy Birthday!!! Have a good one, Krista
