In my world (especially in A Tattoo for Lex) there are bonds of friendship that are irrefutable and unique. Lex would see one of those bonds between Elijah and Tyler. It's similar to the connection between Lex and Cassie.

Up until recently, Tyler was a secondary character, so I can see why you thought he was straight. It was only a brief mention at the beginning of the story. Sebastian’s indoctrination into the greater shifter world has been happening behind the scenes. Now that he's the head honchos it's like being elected to President. He gets told all the top secret information. He's also the type to keep that information under wraps.

Tyler admitted he's been on a dry spell. Might have to remedy that pretty soon. You're right. In order for any of this to work, Tyler has to be able to trust the shifters. He's well on his way.

Tyler is bisexual. Elijah mentioned it at the beginning. He just might be seeing a little action soon. Just saying. There's a lot if wheels in motion right now and things are going to move along. Hopefully in the right direction. Mom is stubbornly hanging in there even though we keep telling her it's time to go. It's amazing and frustrating at how long someone can linger with no food or water and a cocktail of morphine, Haldol and lorazapam. My brothers and I just want it over so she's not suffering anymore.

They say hi once in a while, but they know I need to concentrate on this series. I'll probably revisit the Berkshire Boys at some point. Ian's friend Jase has planted a couple of ideas in my head, so don't be surprised if the guys show up again at some point.

The only place I ever had issues with directions was Tallahassee. For whatever reason, I always got turned around for the first two years my son was there. When I was a kid my dad used to hand me the map, tell me to find whatever our destination was and tell him how to get there. Probably why I majored in Geography in college. Lol

The closer they got to Montana, the more nervous Tyler became. While he knew about Elijah’s abilities since he was six, the existence of other types of shifters and otherworldly beings, like vampires and Fae, was fucking with his mind. Mom is still stubbornly hanging on. Her breathing has slowed down considerably. It's now a waiting game. We're keeping her comfortable with several meds. I'm still planning on posting tomorrow as usual. I'll need the distraction.

Thank you for thinking of me. It was a good snort-chuckle. I just got back from my brother's. Mom's arm and hand started swelling, a sign her congestive heart failure is ramping up. When we changed her there was no urine output. I have a feeling I'll be bringing a couple changes of clothes when I go tomorrow night and will probably camp out on the couch.
