Sounds like a lot of hassle for little benefit....

Most of Jett's family's antics come from my family. They're crazy. I always thought I'd end up married to someone a lot taller than me. My husband started out about 2 inches taller, but inheireted osteoarthritis and is now about 2 inches shorter than me. All my brothers were over 6ft, except one.

This is one I still have trouble with, but it's getting better. Thanks for sharing rick.

Hi Quixo! Nice to see you again. I'm glad you're enjoying the story!

Even housebroken puppies have accidents! You're so right. Parents can only do their best and hope that something eventually sticks. It usually does, but by that time we're about ready for a nursing home. It's frustrating. I get it. Mine still hasn't figured out that the dishwasher is right next to the kitchen sink. Hmmmm. 🙄 Yes, I've taken pictures and will call tomorrow. There's no way I'm getting dinged on our security deposit because of poor workmanship (and non-existent cleaning skills) Yes, I did have the adult beverage and am enjoying another one tonight. Just one.... tomorrow is a work day. Sorry about your frustration. It's too bad swatting them on the nose with a rolled up newspaper is frowned upon. Hope your evening gets better!

i just don't understand...

Oh molly! I can soooo totally relate. After spending almost 2 hours cleaning my son's bathroom (because let's face it... he just wouldn't do it right) today the counter is all messy again. At least the shower and toilet are still clean. This whole scenario reminds me of a meme I've seen on social media: Boy Moms My friend asked me what it was like to live in a house full of boys. So, I peed on her bathroom floor, ate everything in her fridge, told her 800 stories about Minecraft and farted 30 times. When she was ready to kill me, I hugged her and told her she was pretty. 🤣🤣🤣 (Helpful hint... Bissell Crosswave. It cuts mopping time in half. It's totally worth the money!)- 11 comments

Thank you. 😊

Oh Kitt.... The betrayal cuts like a knife. I never thought you would be the one to turn on me. Henceforth you shall be called Judas. 🤣🤣🤣 (At least clean the horseshit off the pitchfork before you come after me 'kay?)

Yup. He committed to spending up to $2000 to get our 2nd car back on the road so he can use it (unless we need it, which won't be too often) He's $300 short. So he's been putting off making an appt at the repair shop like I've been asking him to do. I told him I'd cover him. We need to get the car on the road. He has his 2nd attempt at his licence in two weeks. This must be the month for household upheaval. The bathroom my son uses had holes in the grout. They've had to replace tiles and patch drywall twice. Both tines I asked to have the whole shower regrouted. But nope. They said it didn't need it. Lo and behold son doesn't tell us that another spot is caving in. So by the time we saw it, we'll, it was pretty bad. So we spent 1.5 weeks down to one bathroom. They had to replace all the drywall and retile the whole shower. The guy finished Friday. He did a piss poor job. There's grout all over the wall, the floor. He left the bathroom a blooming disaster area. It just took me 2 hours to clean it. I still have all the floors to do too. 😒 Then I think I'm going to indulge in an adult beverage or three.

Chapter 1. I warned y'all from the get go. Every. Third. Day. !!! (Everything is written, just some final OCD details that I always end up tweaking...lol)

There's always one! I'd give you a prize, but that would mean posting the next chapter and I'm pretty sure all the child behavior experts say don't reward misbehavior! 😉

@Danilo Syrtis I guess I'd better send you the next chapter before you go all cranky on me huh?

It's hard as a writer to find that fine line between just enough tension/suspense and making your readers want to kill you. I'm hoping none of you are homicidal yet!

Geesh... it's only two days!
-
There's at least one or two more.... just for you Danilo! 😘

Just think how strong all y'all's fingertips are after all so many cliffhangers! 🤣🤣 Thanks for the compliment! It's good knowing that you're enjoying this crazy ride. (If you refuse anger management, could you maybe just take the seminar in how to avoid a hostile work environment? 🤭☺)

Today feels really weird. My husband started his new job last night. It's an overnight shift 630pm-500am, but only 4 days a week. It's been awhile since either of us has worked anything other than days. The house is so quiet it's eerie, even though all 3 of us are here. I'm the only one awake. (son stayed up late with his friend) It's hard to find quiet stuff to do. I need to clean, but don't want to make noise. I went out to the Amish market and Aldi's early. It was nice to get that out of the way. Sweeping is done, kitchen is clean and soup is in crock pot. This might be a good time to get some writing done. Have a good day everyone!

72 hours.... give or take?

I don't really think there's any other ending other than choas when an all out tactical FBI/SWAT team breaks down your front door!
-
Oooohhhh... wish I'd've thought of that! 😉🤣
