    Summer

I'm pretty sure Matt wants Seamus in his life. He needs to figure out the best way to make it happen. The stakes are much higher this time. When all his other relationships flamed out he was the only one who had to deal with the repercussions. Now he's got Thunder Thighs to think of. A talk with Brad is a must. 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐 My question is....why is mrsgnomie posting chapters so late for those of us on EST? I don't have enough patience to wait until my lunch time to read, so I blow off working. Damn....my emails are calling.

    Chapter 13

I may have giggled a bit at that one too 🤭
  3. Looks like it's been nearly a week since anyone's mentioned food so here goes..... I decided to make zucchini boats tonight and can I just tell y'all that they were the best ones I've made to date. Zucchini, diced fire roasted tomatoes, spinach, some kind of white fish that a resident caught out in the Gulf, onions, garlic and seasoning. A little bread crumbs and egg to hold it together with some shredded cheese on top. Hell to the yes! I really need to remember what kind of fish he said it was. Hope everyone has a good evening!

    Chapter 13

Another brilliant chapter! @rjo touched every point I was thinking of, only he beat me to the post. (I had to bring my son to work) Love love love having JP and Stef back in the picture! I can just picture the look on Stef's face as he perved on the threesome! 😂

    Chapter 10

Another excellent chapter. The Gordon's seem like a good fit for Michael. A nice way to move things along. Ethan and Jonathan need their own space to figure out what's developing between them. I still have a sneaking suspicion that Ethan's demons in his past are going to come back and haunt him in some way, shape or form. 🤔

    Soulmate

You've officially turned me into a fan of poetry. This is absolutely wonderful tim. You and Michael are so fortunate to have each other. Thanks for sharing. You made my heart sing.
  7. Customer Service....like trying to herd a village of idiots with a blind sheepdog.
  8. Positivity for today: In today's world charitable organizations seem to be a dime a dozen. There's a Go Fund Me account for an entire plethora of wants and needs. Many are legitimate, many are not. When you discover a good one.... it's nice to share. In the community next door that I used to work at the manager had a title turn in. We're not big fans of these because it usually means the homes are in shit condition. Sure enough, that was the case. We heard about Our Next Mission. They're a group dedicated to helping military veterans with housing. They, in turn, partner with Habitat for Humanity. Our company gave them the title to the home, donated money to help with the cost of material and fed the volunteers several times over the course of two months. These volunteers completely transformed a dilapidated, ugly "trailer" into a beautiful "home". New floors, new kitchen, new bathroom, new siding, new plumbing, new electric, etc. It looks absolutely amazing. The most amazing part is they have now donated that home to a qualified veteran in need. The residents of the community have also donated furniture and gift cards to the veteran. They had a dedication ceremony and the man was in tears over the home and the generosity of everyone involved. I'm hoping that if I end up having to take possession of the shotgun slinging resident's home I'll be able to do the same thing. My company has its flaws, but this is a great program to be part of. Hope everyone has a good day!
  9. You can rant all you want. Use all caps too if necessary. We got your back Chris.
  10. Not until I finish chapter, hmmm, not really sure how many chapters it's gonna be. 🤔
  11. Don't give her more work to do!! (She needs to edit the chapters I sent her for my story. *sound of whip cracking*)
  12. And you wonder why I threw you under the bus!🤣🤣 (Aiden....savvy little poop factory!)
  13. Sleep was elusive, but I'm on board with the new hopes and positive energy. (As soon as the coffee hits!) Have a good day everyone!
  14. You made an 85% promise. That's almost a whole pinky swear. Definitely a double dog dare. 🤣🤭
  15. I got her to post it didn't I? 😆
  16. Nothing like coming in just under the wire.

    Seamus and Friends

    It's tomorrow...lol!
  19. Allergies have been plaguing me for several weeks now. Short of hospital grade anesthesia nothing helps me with sleeping. I can knock back melatonin and 5 ibuprofen pm and still wake up every hour or so. I've just basically learned to live with exhaustion. My newest thing is sitting down after I get home and as soon as my husband puts the TV on...my eyes close and I drift off just enough that my head tilts back and then I wake myself up with a snore. Hubby usually side-eyes me and says "y'ok?"
  20. So sorry Chris. Take things one at a time and take care of yourself too. *hugs*
  21. My husband has been trying to get an appointment for a full upper and lower GI series of tests. The referral was sent from his primary doctor over two weeks ago. They're supposed to call within a week. He's left messages and I called today too and had to leave a message. Still nothing. In the meantime he's supposed to have a follow up appt on Friday and he's still having a lot of issues swallowing. It's frustrating. 😡

    Chapter 9

Nice job with the nightmare description. Nothing scares the shit out of someone like a full on technicolor nightmare. My parents took me and my brother to see 'Jaws' when I was 6. (Why? I have no clue.) I still remember the nightmares it gave me. I have never watched that movie again either! Ethan certainly has some major PTSD issues stemming from his past. (Get that boy some therapy!) Michael's insecurities highlight his youth. He needs to call his Mom's cousin and get back in school. He'll have Rayna to look out for him. I think once he gets back on track he'll do fine. It's good to see that Jonathan finished his degree. He's shaping up to be a smart character. He needs to channel those smarts and help Ethan realize that he needs to establish some sense of stability, otherwise he'll be stuck in that 'survival' mode for the rest of his life.
  23. That sounds really good. I made a crock pot full of sesame teriyaki chicken and got it all packed up for lunches this week. Rain still going on. Thunder has sent my scaredy pup into the closet to hide out. No walk tonight.
  24. My first dose hit me with aches and fatigue. Second one is on the 22nd, fingers crossed it won't be too bad. Congrats on your second shot and for clean laundry!
