I'm honestly not that good of a writer. I'd love to lay claim to Ceramic Dreams, but I can positively affirm it wasn't me. (Or was it?🤔) I did my angsty, hit-you-in-the-feels story with last year's Baring My Soul. That one was tough.

It honestly breaks my heart that same sex/interracial/polygamous/ etc., couples can't just live their lives freely in many parts of the world. Shame on those who pass judgement on anything they deem "out of the norm". Those who judge can go straight to heaven with all the other religious zealots. I'll be heating things up down below if there is such a thing as an afterlife. What is normal anyway? I know damn well I'm not and I'll never apologize for being who I am. Today's SA did a wonderful job describing the love loss so many people have experienced, whether it's because of their orientation, race, religious values, cultural values, or just because of family expectations. Kudos.

It's not quite 930 in the morning and we are already at a feels like temp of 95. Should be somewhere around 110 by this afternoon. I just stocked up the work freezer with Popsicles and fruit juice bars as well as snacks for my staff. Five cases of water should last us a few weeks. We're moving into the two worst months of the year. At least this year we're getting rain everyday. The cloud cover helps with the temps but increases the humidity so no real cooling effect. Stay cool and hydrated and have a good Friday Eve!

I agree with tim on this one. I think once the decision was made to get Matt his official documentation there probably wasn't much conversation to be had. Matt doesn't really know Andy and while I'm sure he's grateful, he feels no obligation to try to foster any kind of friendship. Don't forget there's an age gap too. At this point Matt sees Andy as someone who went out of their way to save him and to provide him with a fresh start. Nothing more. He has no clue what he wants out of life other than to find out what happened to Ahmet. As tim mentioned, Andy's parents have no valid reason to meet Matt. As far as Andy, I know for a fact (because, helloooo... editor here. Lol) that we haven't heard the last from Andy. I know I've said it before... trust the process.

Another cliffie... more argument for my theory that @kbois wrote it.

When I first started working in travel a gazillion years ago it was right after Pan Am closed up shop. I worked at Logan Airport in Boston and Terminal A was still closed as it had house Pan Am exclusively.

Here's the fix: London check in for international flight = 3 hours (because Matt is nervous) Weather delay= 2 hours Boarding and taxiing= .5 hours Flight time= 4 hours Taxiing and deplaning= .5 hours Baggage claim and a freaking long customs line= 1 hour Total is 11 hours... You're welcome 🤣😂

Anything over 3 hours and I'm paying for extra leg room. Anything over six and I keep my fingers crossed that premium plus or even business class isn't astronomical. I kinda miss working in travel and having airline reps to ease the way into free upgrades.

Oh... such disappointment for Matthew, but he knew going into this that it was a risk. Now he really has to face his future and decide what it will be. Is he going back to Scotland? Will he go back to the States or maybe keep traveling? Who am I kidding. I know but I'm not saying anything. Once again, an awesome chapter.
