I've contemplated using our "good stuff". The problem is I have too much of it. Not only do I have the stuff we got for our wedding but I have my mom's 16 piece place settings and stuff that goes with it. I guess if I didn't want to load the dishwasher or hand wash dishes for a couple of weeks I'd have enough to do so but that would be mighty gross.

Try 1 part Dawn dish detergent and 2 parts vinegar in a spray bottle. Let sit for a few minutes and then mop.

Unfortunately situations like this are all too common. It's too bad the poor horse is the one who has to suffer stress. The owner will be lucky to ever get the horse to load nicely in the future. People can be such idiots. Update on the ankle... not any better, but not worse either. The brace is being ordered today (once I fork over $600😯😖) so hopefully relief is only a few weeks away. I've given up on getting any sort of prescription painkillers... our medical system is too messed up. I've been trying (3 doctors) for over a month.... nothing. Yet I can take my dogs to the vet and get tramadol in a heartbeat. Sigh. I hope everyone has a good day! Enjoy your walk @Mikiesboy... move that butt!! Lol

If there's one thing I hate it's getting all sweaty. I wouldn't mind working out if not for this unfortunate occurrence lol. Be thankful he's not poking your bony butt with a walking stick..🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't put it past him.

What is it with the men getting all hot and sweaty today?

I didn't know this when I decided to make some garlic parmesan bread in the breadmaker.. lol

You better start running as fast as your stubby little legs will go.

Lately I've lost all trust in my body... it's been a traitorous b!+€#. But I'm learning to move past what I can't change and embrace what I can. This too shall pass. Have a good weekend everyone!

Ranch came with it. I prefer a nice light Italian or a raspberry vinegrette. It was still good though.
-
Cobb salad.. with ranch😁

I did know that chocolate chip cookies were invented in Massachusetts. We were taught that in school.. lol. Did you also know that they came about by accident? Ruth added chocolate pieces to her cookie batter thinking they would melt and make chocolate cookies. They were originally called Butterdrop Do Cookies and were bite sized. Just some fun facts for a Wednesday. Hope everyone has a good day!

Luckily it's not anything super major. I've had issues with my ankle. Went to the podiatrist and one round of oral steroids, one steroid injection, and one MRI later... I have Posterior Tibial Tenosynovitis. In plain English, my left ankle tendon is chronically inflamed. I have been fitted for a brace and am waiting for that to me made. To add insult to injury, I've taken so much ibuprofen that it affected my kidneys and now I'm not allowed to take any sort of anti-inflammatory. On Thursday, I left a message for my podiatrist to ask for a prescription for Tramadol and haven't heard back. Because I've been overcompensating for the ankle, the bursitis in my right hip has decided to flare up. I went to Urgent Care yesterday and there was literally nothing they could do other than to suggest topical lidocaine. They didn't have a license to dispense any kind of narcotic/opioid (which Tramadol is a mild form of). The best they can do is tell me to go to a pain management center. Our medical system is messed up... I can get Tramadol for my dogs easier than I can get it for myself. It makes no sense. So I spent the weekend in pain, cranky as all hell. Today, I will be on the phone, or at my primary care until I get something.

True... I've had a rough couple of months health-wise and all y'all's antics made a not-so-great day better. 🙃

Jeeezzuussss... the freaking Korner has never been so damn crowded. I would remind y'all that you're crazy... but it would roll off like water off a duck.

Thanks! I'm not sure if I'll do another series, but one never knows. I'm glad you enjoyed this.

It's been a rough few days. This about sums it up for me:
-
Happy Friday Y'all! It's been a rollercoaster of a week. Hubs is off to urgent care again. Now it's something weird going on with back pain- but it's not muscular. We've all been battling colds too. I'm a couple steps closer to finally hiring someone for my front desk position. One more interview today. I've already weeded out a lot of resumes. It's astonishing how many people don't at least spellcheck their resume before submitting it. Hope everyone has a good day!

We would. You have a good day too!
-
Nope.. you lucked out. I heard that you and Dan were taking good care of tim after his tooth extraction. I knew you would. (But if you didn't then we would be having a moment lol)

This time of year I have no problem letting people stay a few extra hours as it's our slow season... provided they come up and freaking ask! Common sense has gone the way of the dinosaur. It's a good thing they are taking good care of you and we won't have to find out. I will keep this suggestion for future reference. Thanks!
