My thoughts on Billy 's comments about the likeness of Joey and Brett being more noticeable now than previously and his other comments about that are likely very true. I suspect that even though we aren't told this , he has heard a number of comments from others along those lines.It is naive and silly not to expect that type of thing on a small community. The same holds true about Billy's comments about Jack being not as important or influential as Jack thinks he is. Billy would have heard plenty of comments on the small town gossip vine along this line of thinking and would know from his own observations as to whether Jack is a wind bag and blowhard!

Dr Reilly is certainly not mother off the year stuff. That is very true. She then tries to ban Billy from Bret in the hospital but never really gives a good reason for this. Billy to his credit at first and even later accepts her wishes without much of a fuss or fight and it is Brett that insists his must stay so she gives in like she always does. I also think it there is a very in dependant streak in this whole group of kids where they very much do their own thing regardless of what parents say or thinking things through. But they are at that invincible I am superman stage anyway.lol

As much reason as anything ,Joey does silly things to vet noticed by his father.It would seem Jack notices Brett far more than Joey and acknowledges this not realising how stupid it really is or how destructive it can be.I am quite surprised that Dr REILLY and Joeys mother haven't taken Jack to task for this bad behaviour.

I wonder if Jemison is getting abused at home that he took the reprimand so badly the way he did? His actions would suggest something is wrong at home. I think the other two are just along for the ride or the heck of it.

What a great and exciting chapter.Wellstead thinks very quickly on his feet and comes up with interesting solutions at times. I wonder what the headmaster wants? It usually is never good when they want a prrivate chat. Their chats outside are the ones that are usually the good ones.lol

It is amazing what a bit of bribery and perception of blackmail will do. Its also an interesting study in human nature . How very often the road to hell is paved with good intententions.

Quite a sad chapter in which we see TJ misunderstanding the actions of Randy and Dean and seeing something that isn't there.Then to make it worse he trusts Carter who is the most untrustworthy individual on God's green earth not just once but several times culminating with humiliating a abuse by Carter. This has got to play on his mind and take him to darker places of hurt and of dispair. I have a feeling it will shatter his already very low self image and non existent self esteem.He may not be able to trust anyone now.

What a good chapter. Rider really gets Oliver and Oli is just like a. Puppy dog lapping it up till the cup runs over,except in Olies case I don't think it can.

No and remember he was thrown in the deep end with the cyclone which are nearly always destructive things that test peoples metal plus he is as on the receiving end of several other mishaps. Certainly a baptism by fire one could say.

Yes Carlos I did love this chapter and how it ended which was from my perspective a little in unexpected especially as I was expecting it just yet.I thought it would come much latter in fact closer to when Ossie graduates finally.lol. -
