What a great start to a story in a historical setting. It be interesting to see what happens to Karl and his parents over the next few years as the war wages around then and what happens to Karl and what he does as he grows into adult hood away from his parents at this crucial formative time in his life

This is a wonder filled story with many emotional twists and turns much like a roller coaster ride. The are many side issues addressed as well which act out as if it is real life..

Poor Daniel and friends are just not getting the breaks. I wonder what what will happen to Daniel next?

There has been a movie done about the Navajo windtalkers. It is a very good movie and shows both sides of the war experience equation and how the guards eventually gain respect for the windtalkers. I actually feel sorry for the first nations people as they had so much to offer when compared to other cultures with out naming whom I am thinking of. This is a great story.

This is a very disturbing story and reminds me of some of the mass serial murder's here in Australia over the years. These twisted creeps really do need what this trucker got as his come uppance. What I have enjoyed is how the cop who wrote the diaries is able to methodically and scientifically get in side the victims mind and score them on a graph of 1 through 10 as to who were most likely the susceptable targets based on common factors and who would be the most likely perpetrator of such heinous crimes.

I'm all ready liking this story and it really hasn't gone anywhere yet except to introduce characters in a rural western setting.

You say the vice principals way is anti authoritarian and liberal. It may be that but it is also warped by his Kurdish Iraqi experiences. He feels this giant Robin Hood/ Richard the Lion heart complex about saving boys from the enemies on both sides who would abuse the system in place to protect the young to eagerly bring harm and hurt and destruction to the young ones. It's really a case of damned if you and double damned if you don't. The boys in the middle get trashed everytime unless someone like Richard helps Phillip to see the whole picture in time so the strategy can be focused where it needs to be and even re aligned.

May be if other more saintly options had been available the vice principle ex green berat would have used them instead of the lesser of two evils. This doesn't allow for much wiggle room so he has create that himself all the while hoping that those he has to trust have got the intelligence he thinks they have to neuter Miz Sturgis' fond schemes and get her prison time and redemption for those she has sent away. Between Phillip and his father and their friends and contacts they have all their bases covered and loaded with no wiggle room for Sturgis and her cronies. May be out of this great things can happen and rectify major evils.

Sat just 20-22 Matt doesn't have the life experiences,patience, and so forth that Seamus or Brad his father have. His Father has the knowledge and wisdom to give Matt the advice he sorely needs right now and Seamus is right not to push to hard even if it hurts both him and Aidan

Many of you guys are hyper critical of Matt.He is unsure yet if his emotion having only had failed relationships in the past, then there is the boss thing he needs to resolve in his own mind and that this relationship has moved to live in with benefits stage and more so quickly. And he still wants to enjoy life in a flat on his own for a while before he settles down. He needs to realise that Seamus is in it for the long haul but can't and won't stand two timing and neither should and Matt its interested in that either ,becoming a dad so soon to his brother has caught him on the back foot and other things haven't always gone his way. What he needs is to seek advice from his Dad who has been there and seen all sides of the equation.

You guys should realise the author of this story is both emma2 and.TJ4 in wicked sense of humour. Becauze he is like that and because he is the the writer he will get his own just like t2 and t3. Lol

My,my, my! What a chapter and what an ending! Why u not wait T2 says T1. What do you mean says. T2!? YOUR PREGNAnt........... followed.by the longest of pregnant pauses .and giggles. ...... quite funny.

I don't believe it was Ron watching. I believe it was Bill or Charlie. What a great story and powerfully ending with Harry finally using all his magisterial influence and power for good. My feeling is that Harry will never go dark Lord he might come close but he will turn away from it. That is when he will become truly great and finally find his destiny. Draco Andy he others because of their closeness to him will always be there to keep him from getting power crazed. Plus his heritage will mitigate against that happening in some degree.

What an interesting and good story! Chandler is a good guy and clearly wants to see Brandon not be bullied by brain dead morons. Who can't tell or dontcare enough about hurting others and he isn't impressed by the inaction and lack of concern of the coaches who should know better and are little more than docile bullies themselves. Kudos to Chandlers little brother he is golden by any stretch of the imagination and only wants to see Brandon happy and have some good times and good friends. The way these two brothers tag team with the help of some others is great stuff especially the kung fu lad! It sux big time that instead of supporting the guy that defended Brandon with kung fu he is the one punished and Brandon is sent home clearly concussed. If that is how American school sports is played then with it should be banded or the adults who allow this to happen should have no place near schools or training and teaching children. No wonder there is a lot of injuries in school sports.qqq

This was a great story and shows the grand scope of human emotions and the ability of humans to hurt the ones they love and help and love the ones they love and ultimately forgive and let love triumph over sadness and hurt. Love never hurts nor is it puffed up,pridefull or arrogant. There is one paragraph towards the end where you mix up Matt and Mike in the same paragraph.

Good story so far.

This is a good story a little like a good star trek story but with So many other technical and fantasy science elements.

Again the last number of CHAPTERS have been excellent. This chapter ended on nice cliffy. I wonder what our tour guide has for us next?

This was a very powerfull and and impacting chapter and is possiblely one of the best and most impacting of its category put on here. I am a little surprised about the comments of loneliness. I have had that challenge all my life because of family other reasons. Once it bothered me greatly but now it doesn't much even with having bipolar disorder so the issue of social distancing isn't a problem for me . I only go to town once every two weeks to shop and the rest of the time l stay home and talk to no one nor do l care to as l Don't trust them after what my family and some others have done. When it comes to vets issues l to support them and am in total awe of what they do for us. I am not in favour of war generally but l am not blind to the reality that it sometimes has to be done to get rid of a great evil. The soldiers do a great job for for us the many would never do. And many treat them bad afterwards and trample over them and forget what it is about . The scenario of war is grim and is foreign to the average person colonel Ludlow in the movie in which he has three sons going if to well says it best never talk about war and being civilised in the same breath. It is all to easy for those who don't go to war to make value judgements and impose them on something that is separate to anything we would call civilisation.p

This is one back of a story and could well make an excellent novel would you please consider revisiting it and making it a much longer story. As it it stands,there are potentially, 12 maybe be 15 thread lines already there beging to be written.gp
