    Chapter 12

I know I haven’t read anything in a while, but man did I miss the cuteness of these two. It’s likes a basket of kittens. Who doesn’t like kittens? Since the first kiss, everything else has fallen into place relatively quick. I loved the playful kicking under the table, the nervous jitter, and the pizza sounded nice. In a way this chapter was all about puppy love, laired on thick, but beautifully brought about. The fact that Demes dad spoke about the girls back in his home country may suggest that perhaps the father might suspect something. I don’t know about you, but at that age if I said I was going down to the basement just for a minute with my friend my mam or dad would have said, “oh what for...” as usual excellent chapter. I am still helplessly drool on book 8 of billy chase on kindle. No wonder I haven’t commented in weeks 😂
  2. Thank you for your incentive. I am a film and gamer buff of sorts, also an avid reader. Inspiration comes and goes, but I believe you can't stop every time you feel uninspired. You'll never have a book written. A few famous authors have mentioned this, that hard word and determination is what gets you through. Stephen King even insists on it. Hard work is what gets you through. Talent is cheeper than table salt. Many authors feel disconnected from the stories they write every so often. I have taken some time off, but it's as if I am finding it mentally exhausting to do anything anymore. Perhaps I am just seeing no result in the current field, and should change my scenery. I am fairly ambitious, I guess seeing little effect after a large return is just wearing thin. Thanks for your opinion
  3. I haven't really had many changes in the past year or so, so maybe I am getting antsy by not seeing many changes aha. Though when writing is concerned I write between two times and try to get all my work done in that slot. I use the pomodoro technique often as that is how I get a bulk of my work done. However, since I have started to transition over into doing writing as a more serious idea I have not got the time to always worry about whether I feel inspired or not. I have to work everyday and get something done no matter how large or small. Though generally I try to hit 2000 words a day as I know If I want have a book written before the idea stales off I need to be swift with the first draft. The last few weeks I have started to drop working on weekends to give myself some time off and I guess that has been helping so maybe what you say is true. Perhaps I am being to hard on myself and its killing the enjoyment.
  4. Its good to hear lol. I have been trying to come up with other ways to care about the writing I am doing from using music for inspiration to taking prompts, to re-writing a scene from a movie I absolutely hated, though even that is excruciating. I don't believe I am going through anything out of the normal. If anything everything is going good with my partner and I am travelling a lot and enjoying the world around me. I don't take medication, if I can avoid it I will at all costs. Though perhaps one of the problems is that I don't talk to many people other so maybe I am just feeling isolated hmm. Thanks for the feedback
  5. Hey, everyone, I always find it odd to reach out about a question. I am usually good at figuring out my problems, but I just thought I’d ask the question to see if anybody else felt the same. The topic on burnout or perhaps creative exhaustion is what I am asking. For the past few months, I have been struggling to make a decent turn around on my daily word goals. A typical month for me looked about 35k words, and the last six months, I have been struggling even to hit 2k as I don’t have the motivation to write. I either come up with excuses for this and that or hit a blank wall where I never had a problem before. It has been a nightmare to find passion in anything I write anymore, and while I am at it, I used to draft from early morning to noon, but now the only time I can seem to write is upwards of midnight and into the early morning hours. I feel tired all the time from writing just writing a little. Plus, any idea I come up it takes me ages to get it down and done that it loses any value it once had. I used to love writing, though it has turned into a chore. The feeling comes and goes like on again off again, sensation, and I don’t know what to do to get out of this rut. I have tried everything for inspiration, but I can’t seem to focus as I find my mind wandering most days. Has anybody else had this problem where you have fallen out of love with your writing. This may be silly, but sometimes I feel like I am under pressure to impress people, and I have put a lot of mental strain on my ability to create efficiently, and it has turned it into a challenging pastime. Any thoughts? Or am I on this journey alone ah-ha.
  6. My exact thought on writing teenage romance. I suppose that is why I am writing dark sh*t at the moment. 😂 Though if I find an idea like the avengers I'll cash in with the concept. It will make the breakfast club look manic.
  7. I don’t know how Comicality still manages to produce so much new and original material. God knows I struggle. However, what he has created here is something unusual from his expected fiction. Typically the man himself does not break a teenagers heart, but in this tale he has worked in an unexpected plot-twist for sure. Certainly worth a read

    Overheard

I found the overall theme different compared to what you typically write. You don’t usually break a teenagers heart in front of your audience and then built it back up again. I throughly enjoyed the tale; and if I must say so one of the most engaging this year. Not that your stories don’t captivate the reader, but this story had something extra

    Self

I agree all your poems have a symbolic value on human condition. How you effectively seep into other peoples lives with such each, openness and familiarity is what makes your work so special.

    The Past III

Letting go of the past is vital for self development, but without the past there wouldn't be much of a character. Sometimes no matter how difficult the past may have been, you must always remember you are where you are for a reason, and in a odd notion you must respect to notion that things never turned out worse. Us lucky few... Thanks for the insightful words. A poignant reminder to look forward and not back in nostalgic haze.

    The Past II

Sometimes the past is not in our control, but rather inscribed for us. Some are unluckier than others. It depends on what type of past means shame and what is non-escapable.

    The Storm

It reminds me of the personal storm most people are inexplicably faced with at some point in their life. The storm of YOU. The manner in which you describe it is haunting beautiful and familiar. Your writing has been a wonderful discovery.

    Ambition

It’s true this world has way to many arrogant people. Though unfortunatly we must learn to co-exist. Ambition can be the maker of character or the reminder for a bad reputation.

    Desire

Desire is a torment for sure. I like how you showcased the desire to want what others have; fueling the desire to seek more. I have found that paying less attention to others the happier you will be.
  16. I think Dualshock 4 is the better control for gaming, perhaps a little more durable. Older models had weaker rubber on its analog sticks, but it has been fixed with newer models. Generally the analogs can get slipper with clammy hands. In terms of comfort the Xbox is great. However, it is a lot noisier than the DS4. A big plus for the DS4 is it rechargeability. With the Xbox one you need to replace physical batteries. Save the world and do away with physical batteries. I don't understand why Microsoft are still using this feature. Personally I prefer the DS4. From a young a young age the Playstation has been my go to console. Though I think we have reached a point where they are equal contenders now, so it does not really matter as much anymore. This guy does a good breakdown of the pros and cons of each controller. I have connected the DS4 to an iMac and also a windows computer and they worth wonderfully, you just need to configure it in the settings. Xbox controller I cannot say however, though assuming it is Microsoft it has got to work.
  17. Thank you, I am glad you approve of the concept and its execution.
  18. Thanks, I'm still getting back into the swing of things, but I can't wait to share an upcoming story announcement with everyone that I didn't expect I'd write a sequel to lol.
  19. As a child you where my wayfinder, my guide and my rock. As a child you where my entertainer, my nurse and safe keeper. As a child you where my teacher, my advisor and my fashion designer. As a teenager you where my chef, my incentive and comforter. As a teenager you where my embarrassment, my nuisance and my arch nemesis. As a teenager you where my adventurer, my spontaneous, but compassionate mother. As an adult you where my friend, advice seeker and now a t

    The Darkness

The flow is seamless in every one of these rhymes. After you read each one I am left pondering for a moment wondering what it is you are saying, where multiple ideas come to mind. Your work can be adapted for a wide audience and it is pleasantly rewarding with value, coupled with an ease of read. The poems say little, but speak plenty of volume.
  21. Another lovely sonnet. The first thing that jumped out at me was the bible. No idea why, unless that is what you where saying. Again, there is a familiarity to your words, with lots of hidden meaning.

    Welcome

You have beautiful way with versing words, so simple, yet, excellently lyrical. Thanks for the change of pace from typical reads.

    Chapter 1

Thanks Marty, I enjoyed writing this side piece. Actually, this snippet was inspired from a larger body of work I wrote and intend to turn into a series once I am finished with my project EIWT to branch away from LGBT for awhile. Perhaps in the future you will get to read of these characters again, thought once I finish Before The Storm I am going to transition away from Gayauthors to focus on launching my professional career.

    Chapter 1

Thank you, I ended up writing roughly another 100 words, although it may seem small in the terms of the story I hadn't thought about it until I had someone else say it so I corrected it. I glad it drove the point home further
