I do! For me, part of the joy of a platform like this is where one strives to improve, to read and edit someone’s authentic writing. To get feedback and even praise for MY efforts. Incidentally, I tried a free trial of Grammarly and its AI detector this am. I put a chapter I have just finished through the detector. Result 0% AI (obviously) but a monstrous list of changes ‘to improve’ my writing score (whatever that is). Apart from the usual punctuation issues, I could see my word ordering was considered incorrect, I should always use contractions, blah, blah, blah. I am certain that I have written correct English and I refuse to conform my style to the dictatorship of some computer programming. End of rant. gxxx -

Back in the day I used to work with male survivors of abuse. Frequently in cases of physical as well as sexual abuse in families, it was the mother who enforced the secrecy. As one said to her beaten up son, “what happens here stays here…..”

After so many wonderful stories with a miriad of well-drawn characters, I feel that our esteemed author is letting more and more culture, with a small c into his stories. more and more I find intellectual stimulation with the interplay of humans and the arts. Also success has to be earned, relationships are not simple, and not everyone is a Michelin level chef. For me, Robert is one of the best authors working on our site. Long may he remain.

Totally agree. For me it’s Intellectual dishonesty to put one’s name as the ‘author’. Co-author, perhaps.
