    So, so sweet. I will try to add a couple of holiday snaps as we head to UK. Think Lilibeth and Greta at the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace...... @weinerdog will be sooooooooooooooo jealous, he might misbehave whilst we are away!!!

    As is often the case, on a Friday I am the first to read the latest chp and went to add a comment… and then thought, what do I put? The story is excellent, the chps are consistently very good, and my expectations are always met. So, Robert, forgive me for the lack of originality in saying ‘expectaciones superadas’, as I used to put in school reports ….. seriously, a great tale. @Summerabbacat, if you want to treat Anne, I can take her with us to a 4.5 hour Wagner opera I’ve just booked here in Valencia 😂

    Yep. My sister is diagnosed with it. My brother in law is a saint but also human. My sister’s children are too busy with their own lives (though living 10 min away). They don’t get he needs every type of support as well as their mum. But they expect his money, though…..

    Speaking of compasses….. and no direction, Criminal 001 now has her kennel club pedigree certificate and she is now to be called Lilibeth de la brújula- compass Lil for short! Not a surname chosen by us but the breeder’s centre is called ‘Teckels de la brújula’, may be because she rotates about 360° when thinking of having a pee….. 😱 Perhaps @weinerdog could explain this phenomenon….?

    Balcony was 49° in shade. Poor wieners were running across road to park, a quick pee and running back. I know how they felt!

    Now 49° in shade on balcony. A fire is burning merrily across the main road. Mini planes are dropping water. Hope it wasn’t the farmer burning stuff….. Another plane arriving. Uff

    Not a magic fan, but here the magic was a tool to get our (anti-) hero sorted out. I really enjoyed this clever little read. Kudos to the author.

    As it’s my first time writing for SA I am enjoying the comments enormously. Now, with a 42°c temperature today, I’m locking myself in to get some names out there. Last time I looked at the stories before the authors names were revealed, I had a few suspects in mind…..
