    Galaxies

    The prose is perfect 👍
  2. “Chris’s house was in Constantia, that beautiful, expensive valley of mountain vistas, city vineyards and Botoxed housewives sipping Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc on rotation.” Yes! I’ve been there but had forgotten the name. One memory was all these amazing houses surrounded by high fences and wire.
  3. 100% agree. The writing is so smooth. Great stuff

    In Tenebris

Good, if sad, start. I’m hooked.
  7. You are one hour ahead of Spain, I think, in that case. But I would have thought that Romania is in same time zone as Germany, Italy etc. I might have to get up earlier to catch your posts first and stake out some claims before certain people ( you know who you are!) try to grab your heroes for themselves!! much love, Laura, I so enjoy your work 🤗🤗🤗
  8. I’m not sure what to say because I don’t want to allow any “spoilers” here. Just an amazingly intense weekend is described which as you read you feel, o, yes, I know how this is going to end. This is a squirmingly good read. So very good and with a coherent and moving ending. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

  9. Yes, I’m getting that feeling, I fear it won’t be a laugh a minute. But it definitely keeping me intrigued. 🤗
  10. So UK/Ireland/Canaries ?
  11. I think the sign of a really quality comedy/drama on GA is the way the writing provokes such a great reaction between the readers, Laura, Mrs M, Carlos H are the best examples for me. Laura, I am so enjoying this but it’s now moved from Shakespeare to Italian opera! How are you going to resolve this? I know we must be patient… great stuff, and many thanks, Gary
  12. Really? One hour east or west of CET is intriguing me, Laura!
  13. If only J.El would be more sharing with Rusty etc!!!!!
  14. If a certain someone insists on having all rights to Rusty, at least I can be your greatest “ Brit expatriate living in Spain “ fan! Huge hugs 🤗
  15. Another great chp and, guys, check out Laura’s new story. the Ugly Duckling 🐥 Intriguing start to it!
  16. This one is a bit different from the world of Sunny Hill etc. but the early bird readers all say we are intrigued… believe us and follow, this is one to watch from the pen of a really good author. 👏
  17. Well, well, well, Ms Laura.. This is a tad different. But I’m very intrigued and, yet again, you’ve got me hooked!,, great characters and fascinating start. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
  18. The story is nicely poised. Well-written…
  19. No wonder Sebastian needs a drink. I’d need two, at least. His luck must turn soon, surely?
  20. So true! Even if one of them is still a child emotionally

    Chapter 77

V interesting comments. Me likewise, I first drank at 20, never done drugs, never had much money as a teenager so at one level it is hard to empathize with these guys and their highly dangerous drunken party on a plane. That said, mark’s description is so good that I just go with the flow and live vicariously. Great chp.

    Chapter 77

    Hot, sizzerlingly HOT. 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
  23. Sorry, J.El but there were no views or no comments when I got the notification here in Spain. So, so sorry if time zoning was a problem for you….. 😛I might be willing to share him on days of the week with no letter “y” in them. Generosity on my part. Xxxxx
  24. Hee hee got here first so Rusty is definitely mine!!

    Chapter 25

This could easily be nominated, by me at least, as one of the best chps of the Granger series, why? Because Mark A delves into the personality of his creation and the reactions of Granger are, I believe, totally consistent with the characterisation as developed in earlier books. This is one of my go to books when I need chilling out. Oh to be on that veranda sipping a chilled drink ( not rum, please) and watching the harbour. If I win the lottery I will follow in Granger’s footsteps.
