Great chapter. Lots of emmotional ups and downs. Kind of curious why he wouldn’t mention his birthday. It’s not like it’s written on our foreheads for everyone to know. His uncle had been kept away. When he was booted out of the family he lost contact. He may have been so busy filling out forms for school exit and entry, the birthdate my not have caught his attention. Artie needs to be a little more open. All the events in this chapter ended up perfect though with his “family” both uncle and friends doing him right. Honestly the most touching moment was the bat and the glove. It showed what level of interest Adam does have in Artie. Artie is not in Adam’s way. Artie has become a part of Adam. Great chapter, look forward to the next and next, though with some fear of the problem the ungrand parent are stirring up.

Sorry I am so late reading this entry. No I have not given up on you. Life got in the way. Writing that, made me think, reading what you write, is part of my life, so I guess an alternate life, called summer got in the way. Lots of feeling in this work. You created a very real atmosphere. I must confess the more I read of the things you write, the more I see your creativity. If you were a painter, you would not paint a mural, you would paint many smaller works of great detail, and maybe, just maybe, if you set them all up around the room and carefully took them in with your eyes and mind you would see a bigger picture. I continue to enjoy your writing. If you do find time again for a big complex thought provoking story, I will gladly read it. As for now I am happy to read your shorter detailed works.

Great to have the long awaited next entry. Maybe I should say grand re-entry. So sorry to hear that it was heath issues that delayed regular installments. Glad your back in better health, and hopefully you can stay that way. So much happened in the chapter. Very action packed. The boys saving the other boys life, that was amazing. How trivial to get hostile about a $15 towel that was used in a life saving venture. Crazy stuff. Even after the long delay you kept the people in character, that real dedication to your writing. Now I am excited to see who was on the phone. It’s been long enough in the story I can’t venture to guess. Stay healthy, that’s what is most important.

Building and building and building. The perfect chapter. Pieces keep coming together and this chapter really did bring them to a climax. Artie and Dizzy are one. Of course there are other people in this story, and now that Artie and Dizzy are one, the lives of Ky and Adam can be made whole too. Charolette, I don’t know what to think there. She seems to be that gal who is in every gays life. Good friend and fantastic support. Great chapter.

Both the boys have been hurt by the same two people. They have each other. Yes there are friends but there is nothing like blood. It is so good that they have bonded. The fact that both of them have stood up to somebody because they would not respect the other shows their great commitment for each other. The relationship between Dizzy and Artie just keeps getting stronger. Now comes the server at Twin Peaks. It seem that he like Artie which is a real plus. I think Adam would not have it any other way.

There you go, Artie had the opportunity to show his support for Adam in chapter 13 and now Adam gets to show the same level of acceptance and support for Artie. True love is accepting all parts of the other person, not just the parts that you like. I am sure that Adam can do better. I could really feel for Artie at the dance. It was interesting just how far out of reality Ky was. Both Charolette and Dizzy knew about Artie’s loss. It is my opinion that Artie has come into the best possible environment. Great chapter.

Excellent chapter, so many high points. I have read the other comments and not sure if I can do any better than to say ditto with the Jesus comment, Artie’s support of Adam and how Artie’s friends have rallied to provide Artie with a real live acceptance experience. The one comment I am not sure about is “the ax will drop”. I know there have been some major negatives in other stories you have written. I can see possible negative plots. The thing is, there are some lives that go along positively. I have a favorite British Author. I know that his partner died of cancer. In a couple of his books one of the main characters has died of cancer. I recently wrote him and expressed my aw at his ability to take such a negative real event in his life and weave it into a story. Life can have negatives. It has always been my opinion that how you come out at the other end of a negative is a true measure of who you are. Excellent story, it is well enough written it could be plucked right out of a real life story.

I must confess, the longer this story (letter) goes on the more I am enjoying it. I now know my early problems with this story was not reading it properly. In fact I just had this thought, my reaction to this story was kind of like trying to put something together but only skimming over the instructions. Now that I am reading it properly, everything fits together. It’s funny what you can learn about someone and never meet them. I can see how they are becoming friends.

I enjoyed that story. The thing is it does represent the experience many of us have had with a teen crush. It left me with memories from my past. There were always more crushes than meetings. Glad these two did finally introduce each other. You do a lot of writing so I don’t know if you are going to continue with this story or not. It could have a few very enjoyable chapters. Fun read.

Perfect, things are all coming together. Great seeing Adam and Artie opening up with each other. Glad Artie opened up with Dizzy too, I am sure he will have the kind of support he has been getting from Charolette.

I have made a discovery. What we are reading is one side of a two sided discussion and a person can pick up a lot of what the other person is saying, with in the responses. Also I have discovered that if I read the (letter) with more care I can pick up the other persons discusdion points much easier. There are a couple ways people read, skim and content. Most people shift to content to read owners manuals where you really have to know what the writing says. Interesting writing style. I like it. I was a bit confused early on but now I understand it and like it. In fact I like Sherlock and if I were the person he is writing to, I would like to meet him. I think he may be less geeky then he thinks he is. I am not sure that most geeks can express them selves as well as Sherlock can. By the way I am a teacher and I agree with his teacher comments. I hope I fit into the good teacher category. At least that’s where I strive to be. I look forward to the next entry and I hope they do meet. I have an internet friend I have been chatting with for close to 10 years. We have never met. On opposite coasts of the US. We may some day. Funny comment was made by my friend the other day. He said if we did meet, we would probably never leave the room to sight see. My thought was, love is an interesting thing. He can fall so much in love with me and it is only through words. We don’t Skype or video chat or send pictures back and forth all the time. We have but seldom. I see the characters in this story like that. I hope they meet.

Excellent chapter. Dizzy is turning out to be a good partner. I am a little concerned about his tagging. In its form it can often be some pretty amazing art, but if it is done on private property without the owners permission then it can get the artist in trouble. It seems that Dizzy already has enough trouble with his moms boy friend he doesn’t need more with the law, and I don’t want to see him drag Artie into trouble. Their relationship doesn’t need that. So glad that Artie and Adam finally had a serious talk. So many questions were answered in the last couple paragraphs. It really explains why Sarah and Adam are so close and yet not boyfriend and girlfriend. Wonder how long it will be before Adam’s boyfriend will appear on the scene? Love the story and how it is developing.

The First Day of School, The Last Day of Fear
OzLoGo commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in The First Day of School, The Last Day of Fear
That was a spell binding story. I couldn’t put it down and had to read it to the very end. Great writing. I think it is very sad, that a topic like a school shooting can be introduced into a writing and we aren’t shocked in total unbelief. The subject was handled well, but it still sad we aren’t all aghast that it was mentioned at all. Glad Nick will have a full recovery, but when ever you loose an organ it’s not really a full recovery. His love for Billy will give him additional strength for his recovery. There is so much love there. Super glad the parents had a positive attitude. Great chapter. Great, story, let’s get him well. -
Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
OzLoGo commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
It seems to me that Dizzy has made the greatest effort to get Artie’s attention. Artie has never been in any kind of relationship before. Now he is getting seriously wooed by two boys and one is doing just about everything he can to win Artie and the other is sulking. Yes Dizzy seems like a fun person but my preference would be a steady personality rather an a flash like Dizzy. Time will tell if both Artie and Ky get their heads screwed on an figure things out. My opinion, Dizzy would be a fun friend but I am not sure about him as my significant other. I don’t know enough about Ky though, so I am not sure about him either at this point. I don’t like being around moody people. -
Thanks for continuing with the story right up to this conclusion. I am sorry to say that I am not convinced. To me actions speak louder than words. I know sex is an action but it’s not really the one that counts. How Carter treats Jackson in front of all his friends will be the telling truth. Yes Carter asked Ricky to get Jackson to the locker room, but if Carter really wanted to make a statement he needed to walk Jackson out into the dance floor for a slow dance. Time will tell. For sure the sex was great, but I still don’t trust Carter. Sorry 😕

I am glad I finally got my head wrapped around what’s going on in this story. They are letters. This time when I was reading, I picked up on the random thoughts because that is how letters go. Other thoughts came to mind as well. There is s person I could call an internet friend. He and I have written to each other for 10 yeas and never met. This story reminded me of that friendship. Another thought was home work. I have to say, I agree with what was said about homework and I was a teacher. I worked with a math teacher who gave out 100 problems a night. I asked her, could you find out if the student understand the process in 5 problems. She flatly said no, they need the practice, then the crowning comment came, “it keeps them busy and out of trouble”. I thought, bull shit, it likely causes more trouble for them then keeps them out of. Now that I know what I am reading. Nice entry.

This story just keeps getting better and better. No doubt Dizzy is taking things seriously. It does make you wonder if Ky is making things up to make Dizzy look bad or does he really believe it. Time will tell.

I am starting to feel like a broken record. Great chapter. What we don’t really know is if Ky and Dizzy have always been combative. For sure it is tiring. Again Charlotte to the rescues, and way to speak your mind Artie. It will be interesting when Adam finally answers some questions. It is more than obvious with the body contact that Dizzy is making a move. Artie is going to have to decide what kind of friendship he wants and if wants more than just a friend, who he wants it with. This thing is getting complex.

What a great chapter. I really liked the interaction of the kids at school. I can just see it unfolding. Again Charolette showed her stuff by having Artie sit with her. The guys will just have to figure out. I is great to get more information about Adam, now I am beginning to wonder what his skills are at the breakfast joint. Wow, the Prices took him in from a soup kitchen. No wonder they are so special to him. Clever way to take care of too dry chicken. I might just have to try it on purpose. Wonder if AJ the author has had that experience This story is really enjoyable.

I am reading other authors, plus I am an editor for another author here on GA and as if that is not enough I have been enjoying the books of a British author Anthony McDonald. I do not have a dull moment. And I like it like that. When I find a good author I like to follow them and read as much of their writing as possible.

Humor often comes in the form of a misunderstanding. I made my comment yesterday and I read your quote this morning. I are-read the chapter and still saw it as a random group of thoughts. Since it was ch2, I figured I had better go back and read ch1 and see if I could find a connection. Connection was my problem with ch2, all those thoughts but no connection. Now is where the humor comes in, it’s a letter stupid. You were writing a letter. Of course there are random thoughts. Often in a letter several points get brought up and so you reply to them in paragraphs. Now comes part two of the humor. You commented recently that I read all your works, well guess I missed one. Now I am on board and can enjoy the journey.

A Day In San Antonio, A Night In Heaven
OzLoGo commented on FlyOnTheWall's story chapter in A Day In San Antonio, A Night In Heaven
I really liked the chapter. It was full of emotion and with your writing style it could be felt. I got a big smile at the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree comment. Hannah is just like her dad. Glad they have the video evidence. Everything was going along very well until the gun, crap. Not a happy ending. Yes, cliff hanger, the best solution would be a school where teachers carry. The teacher reaches in her desk, pulls out a gun and puts an end to Hannah. -
There was some interesting discussion about what relationship Adam and Artie might really have. I have got to say, the way this chapter started didn’t do anything to dispel that rumor. I was thinking about Artie’s reluctance to she any information about his mom. Looking back at how the kids at his old school treated him, it is no wonder he didn’t want to open up, they would use it against him. The future will tell if Charolette can be trusted, but right now it looks like she is someone Artie can confide in. Everybody needs a person like that in their lives. Looks like Adam me find himself eating healthier. Great chapter, there were some very emotional moments. It was great seeing Artie open up. Can’t wait for the next chapter.

Interesting chapter, not sure I totally followed it.

Boy am I slow. After reading the comments about Adam being the father, makes a lot of sense. I just took it as family resemblance. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out. I too likes learning more about Ky. I thought it was perfectly fitting that Dizzy was in the park across the street from the house. I am beginning to think he is crazy like a fox. With the question being raised about Adam there are all kinds of ways this story could go. Not having seen any hint of incest in any of AJs other stories I kind of question the possibility. I figured Adam’s reluctance to be a slave to his parents beliefs got him booted. In effect every kid they have had charge of they have booted. Guess they would rather sit and soak in their own foul existence. Great chapter, had that warm fuzzy feeling.
