    Chapter 21

Sam, Sam, Sam, you really know how to make life “hard” for Jackson. I enjoyed the many discussions in this chapter. The girls, plotting who will take them to the dance and the boys and the games, all very true to the nature of the age and gender. Well written chapter. Now with Carter coming over, I hope some things can get worked out. I do understands Carter’s reluctance but his flowers and kiss after the play have left me a bit confused about his continued reluctance. I now wonder if his inviting Jackson to hang out with his friends was just Carters way of showing his friends that his gay lover is just one of the guys too. Many people think all kinds of things about gays that are wrong. Gay guys can be as macho as any other guy. Great job with the story. I look forward to future chapters.

    A Date For Two

You did it, thank you. I was hoping you would write a second chapter, and now all of us followers can hope for more and more chapters as the story unfold. Oh did I feel the uneasiness. So real. I could feel the butterflies because I have had them too. It is funny how we will set our selves up for things like a date, only to have the event transpire and we realize, what were we thinking. Glad they finally got going, the conversation picked up and a friendship is building. Most of all I am glad that Jacob realized that it is best to never tell a lie. He was bothered by the group of students and he needed to face his fears. That’s how you grow brave and strong. I look forward to the next entry. You have made them out to be two beautiful boys.
  3. I have been reading your series since the beginning. This is meant to be a compliment. You are getting better at your writing. I guess the best way to say it is, there is a nice flow to things now. The sentences and topics don’t seem so choppy. I remember having to go back and read some sections to be sure I understood it. Maybe it’s not you, maybe it’s me, but I just feel like the story line is more relaxed and makes better sense. Great addition to the overall bigger story. Actually some things from the past story were made clearer. I don’t remember the dad shooting him self after driving into the pool. Maybe it was there and I missed it. Great job, I have enjoyed following along as you take us on an enjoyable journey.

    Jitters

I commented in the Adam and Ross story that there were so many things in that story that caused flash backs to my own youth. I found myself thinking the other day, why am I reading these stories. A friend comment, “ you just want to read all the juicy sex.” I had to correct them. Most of the stories I read have very little sex and if there is, it doesn’t go into paragraph after paragraphs of inflated images. I have been reading several books by an author, his sex scenes are usually, “they had sex”. It is not for the sex it is for the story line, the imagery, living someone else’s life through their thoughts and actions. I have found that if we talked with each other more, we would discover our lives are much more similar then they are different. That’s why I get flash backs when I read your stories. You take from life and through your words you give us someone else’s life. It is enjoyable to see how someone else handles something you have experienced. So often you discover you did the same thing someone else did. Life is full of stories and I see you as a word smith who takes those stories and writes them down for us. This story, needs to go on. We can all imagine an ending but it would be more fun to see what you do with it. Real name Larry

    Jitters

I enjoyed it, more so I was very happy see something from you. With a beginning like that you can go any where. I wondered through out the last story how much of your writing comes from real life experiences, either your own or things friends have told you about. One thing for sure, you are really in touch with real feelings. I could feel, just how Jacob felt. As they say, been there done that, have the tee shirt. I hope this will be a nice long story with lots of characters. You have my permission to take us on an enjoyable journey of young love.
  6. Thank you for taking all the time it did, to get all that written. You tied up some loose ends that we’re not explained well in other parts of this story line. You did a lot of clarifying, much appreciated. I am sure there are some things you mentioned here, that those who have not read the whole series may be questioning. Guess they will have to go back and read the other parts to get caught up. Great job, I have been enjoying this series. Keep up the good work.
  7. Not sure what happened, I wrote this comment yesterday and thought I posted it. After 24 hours of thinking about the chapter I feel the same way. I liked the whole story, looking forward to future entries. Keep up the great work.
  8. Glad to have run across the other story and then moved into this one. I am sure you know you left some hanging treads. Stories need to end at some point, and though I am sad to see this one end, you brought it to a close in a comfortable way. Things I would like to know about is, Mark, the hospital and I was looking forward to the wedding. I said several times during the story that I hope you have plans to turn it into an ebook on Amazon or where ever it can reach a larger audience. I read a lot. I think when I pay a compliment on a stories quality it is a well educated comment. You are ready for the “show” I will be looking forward to further information about the Haner family. Great Job!!!!!

    Dream On

Oliver, Oliver, Oliver, do something different. Leave out the swear words. If you want to start a new sound and direction with your music then leave out the sound of cussing and swearing. The tension, the build up in this chapter was perfect. I was half expecting that Tommy was going to call Oli up on the stage, guess that can still happen in the next chapter. Great write, thank you for making it so special.

    Chapter 13

It has been so long since the last posting I am going to need to go back and read so I can get my brain back into the story. Now you are saying it will be a long time before the next post. I may need to wait for it to get completed and then read it. When there is a very long delay in posts then it is difficult to follow the story line. Since the last posting I have read at least 5 full books. I tead a lot.

    Chapter 18

Absolutely worth the wait. When the chapter started my thought was, of course the last chapter wasn’t the end of the story. Knowing Carter, he is all over the place. He might just want the sex, but not the relationship. It was a kiss that caused the problem before. Has he decided a kiss will get his dick sucked. Carter is not committed yet, a kiss does not move anything into a relationship. Time will tell. I agree the shower seen was hot. As far as (got Carter) things seem to be headed in the right direction. Being seen in public, willing to get effectiinate in public, that’s when you know a relationship is for real. Carter has a long ways to go. Enjoyable read.
  12. Very enjoyable. Not even sure what else to say, I liked everything about the story, other than the death of Jamie. I feel so bad for Hunter. The rest of the story really brought me out of the Jamie/Hunter slump.

    Family Man

I was really glad to hear Teddy mention private practice. He loves helping people, but ER you don’t get a choice. Seeing his reaction to a murdered boy who he tried to save is sad. Just like Oli said, for all purposes the boy was dead when he arrived at the ER and poor Teddy tried to save him. Oli has balls, standing up the the bigot was a brave act. I was glad that nothing physical happened. I also hope that Oli can keep his head screwed on correctly. It is likely to be very difficult. The story continues to be enjoyable.
  14. I can’t imagine the mind of a person who would stab their own son 13 times. And then there is the impact of those actions on everyone who comes into contact with the boy. I have thought at times about being a doctor. With the image drawn in this story line I couldn’t do it. The best part of this chapter is Oli being able to say he loves his brother. It was evident just how real that love is, as important as music is, he will not tour if Teddy is not back 100 percent. Hope he means it. Teddy needs that kind of love and commitment.
  15. I had a feeling when the boy came in with 13 stab wounds that things may not turn out so well. All Teddy could do was try. True to the point, maybe there was something he could have done differently, but that’s how advancements in medicine are made. He can’t blame himself that the procedure has not been thought of or perfected yet. I am positive he tried everything possible and yes, it wasn’t enough. Great to see friends and family rally around him and try to encourage him. Sure glad he had the skills to save Ryder. Teddy has said he is going to take more time off I hope this will convince him to do just that. I was thinking the other day, the money that Ryder has, Teddy doesn’t really need to work at all. He could choose to be a specialist and set up his own hours as well as choose who he is going to work on. I have several friends who are physicians. One of my close friends was a GP and he got certified as a dermatologist. I asked him why, he commented, no emergencies. He chose the patents he wanted to see and who he felt confident he could help. That might be a good direction for Teddy. If you stay in ER, you are going to loose patience, that the nature of the beast.
  16. Oh no I worried. I see trouble brewing. Teddy honestly he believes he can save all. He has an excellent track record, but 13 stab wounds could spell the end for the teen. How will Teddy handle it if the teen doesn’t make it. Time will tell. I liked the upbeat feeling the rest of the chapter. Of course Oli told Tommy. Tommy had been encouraging him and Oli wanted to let him know the advice was put into action.

    Growing Up

I am so happy for Oli and Mark. If there is a problem it is the band members encouragement almost taunting. I appreciated Ryder’s comment as he let Oli off at Marks. I think many of us need a little push, and I felt that in the end Mark and Oli did what they both wanted to do, it was perfect.

    Second Chances

I have serious reservations about moving into the house. Maybe it will work, I just don’t know. Oli needs to get going with Mark. He is messing up seriously. Here he told Mark he would be there for him, the band would not take his place and within days Oli is giving all his attention to the band. And so the story goes on :-)

    Too Close To Home

That chapter was better. Yes there is still some tension going on but at least the chapter ended on an up note.
  20. Great Chapter. I am surprised that the same ineffective principle was still there. Guess she won’t be any more. No doubt they are a family. I can’t imagine Ryder taking anything from any one but he does take it from “mom”. There is no doubt they needed the sex, great way to end the chapter. I was so afraid that Ryder was going to cave I almost stopped reading. Thank you for not doing that.

    Bump in the Road

I have criticized this chapter. I don’t like to criticize without also offering a solution for how to make things better. I think I said that I read a lot. Well not only do I read I have also written two plays and have authored two books which have not been published because I am too lazy to put in the leg work. Here is my suggestion. Rather than leave the chapter with a serious cliff hanger. Start the chapter with the catastrophe but bring resolution by the end of the chapter. That way we can go to bed, with a smile on our face rather that tossing and turning trying to work out in our own heads how things might turn out. You are a good writer. You breath life into your stories. Even if it is something you are making up on the go, you might not realize that some of what you write someone may have lived. That is what got me so worked up with chapter. Sitting in a hall with your partner, knowing you had fucked up and not knowing how the next day, the next week were going to turn out happened to me. If I had seen a resolution before I went to sleep, I could have fallen asleep at least knowing what happened. Just a thought, start with conflict, end with resolution. PS in my other posting I mentioned how in a book you can just choose to read longer. That exact thing happened this morning in the book I am reading. I found resolution by reading longer. With your story we will have to wait for some unknown time to see how things turn out, only to be left with another cliff hanger. Maybe I will wait to read any more until I see it is complete. I like your story I don’t like how you have ended this chapter.

    Bump in the Road

I guess I will just be honest. I will continue to read the story but I am going to let two or three entries build up before I read again. I read a lot, I enjoy reading books. The advantage to a book is, when you come to a tough chapter you go ahead and read more that night so you can read through a resolution. I strongly dislike how this chapter went and leaving it with Blu and Kyle at odds will leave me feeling bad for a long time. I finished reading an hour ago and I am still laying here awake. I know it is only a story, but you hit really close to home with how this chapter went. I guess good writers can bring a story alive. Just so happens that with so many different readers you never know what impact you may have on someone. For me this chapter hurt.

    Mr. Sullivan

My first thought here is I am a teacher. Every segment I have read in this story that has anything to do with that school has made me ill. I know there are schools and administrators like that but I sure hope they are the exception. As far as the story goes, glad to see Ryder and Harry join forces for Oli. That really shows that the Haner family are including Ryder as a family member. Oli has to prove his chops with Tommy and I think he did it. I just hope there is respect there and not the attitude that can come when you get beat by someone. If anything, Oli showed he is a worthy fill in for Tommy.
  24. You did well. I was wondering how you were going to break up a perfect relationship and you did it with grace. So often in a relationship there is some negative reaction by people close to one of the partners. I really wish that people could just see that love is love and not try to box another persons love into their own confined box. Love is so important to the well being of us all. I am glad to see Andy’s dad came around, or at least is on his way. I look forward to the next entry.

    Renegades

You did it again, great chapter. I hate sounding like a broken record, but I really enjoy your writing and you character development. Just to set the record straight, I am an avid reader. Right at this moment in time I am t adding 5 stories on here as well as two books on kindle. That might seem a bit extreme, but that’s me. As well as reading I have also written two plays and have a book I need to get published and stump. I hope that puts more credibility in my comments. You are a good writer. Again you tied up some loose ends and gave us answers to some questions. This story does not need to ever end, you may have a full time job, carrying the story forward with Olie and Ryder and Teddy and on and on. I appreciate all the postings you have been making recently. I hate having to wait for the next installment. You are keeping my frustration at a medium :-)
