    Hello everyone. It's cool here today but Ohio is gearing up for weather ridiculousness. By Wednesday next week we have highs of upper 90s. Yikes. Is it pride fest season for everyone? Cincinnati's will be in 2 weeks.

    Sure. At my work when people start getting mean and yelling over the phone, I calmly say I am,here to help but I won't be cursed at or otherwise spoken to inappropriately, or I will have to end the call. I usually warn twice then let them know "I'm sorry but I cannot proceed with this call going forward in this manner. I am going to end the call now" And then I hang up. Now mind you, it's only happened a handful of times in 10 years. I'm pretty good at de-escalating

    Happy Saturday y'all. It's finally edging toward spring here. It's currently 63 (19c) and while I wouldn't say it's warm......a very cool breeze is blowing, it's warm enough to try and forget winter. How is everyone? Im good. Nothing new to report. Lol.

    This was a satisfying conclusion. It's very real. Full of crappy folk making crap choices because they're real, like all of us. And I do mean that in the very best way......it's not a perfect bow wrapped ending and that's actually awesome. Anyway Thanks for finishing it.

    Oh good. Hello everyone. I'm doing ok. Work is so stressful. We've had a number of residents pass in 2 weeks, some from age related issues and 3 from covid. It's so exhausting.

    I was just watching a news report that predicts grocery prices will rise in the neighborhood of 10% in average in 2022. I make a fairly decent wage (especially for a social worker)....but I have little savings and price increases in every sector is going to squeeze us hard.

    Oooh is it the kind that changes color or the kind that changes light pattern or both? I'm one of those weirdos that starts the Christmas enthusiasm on Nov 1. I think it's because my childhood was so joyless and harsh even in the holiday season that I am super extra about it now. Sweaters, cookies, eggnog while we decorate the tree, "family" game nights. But it's not the same for everyone and that's ok.

    It sounds charming. My little town does something too but I and both boys are sick this year. We didn't even get to spend thanksgiving with family as planned due to sickness. Ah well. Next year
