    There's a lot in the next chapter. It's the longest one, but meeting Jay's family can't be summed up in under 5k words lol. I've found myself in this spot more times than I want to remember. It's a vicious cycle, being scared to face something difficult, makes it grow, making it harder to face, making it grow even more, to the point where the biggest issue is the fear you've created in yourself. Does it apply to Lars? 🤷‍♀️

    Also, stop questioning things. This doesn't need to be a place of free thinking. I already got people re-reading stories as they dig for details. I don't need you questioning the logistics of hauling boxes. If Santa can do it, so can Loren.

    Yes, it's not specifically details but a lot of what he brought for Aidan was free stuff sent to him. Not to say he didn't buy a few things himself, but I doubt he really needed to. Just getting that damn box from SEA to DEN was an act all it's own.

The author of this story reserves the creative license to fill in the blanks and create a world that suits the characters. Full disclosure because I feel like you mid-westerners could get very angry if I don’t do your beloved state justice.
