I think there’s our natural reaction, that happens when we’re acting on emotion. Then there’s the rational thing to do, which usually comes in the form of advice form people not in the situation and therapists lol.

Everything Jay feared last chapter is coming true in this chapter. His fear is in the drivers seat. I can't imagine what it would be like to see it happen from another country and not be able to do ANYTHING and to barely have any means to contact him either. No envy.

Yes, poor Seamus. It was not an easy time for him. Now he's stressed about Matt and worried about his friend Jay. We have solace in knowing Seamus will go home to find his happiness but it's still hard to see him struggle. I also imagine he looks like someone from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. That was filmed where I live. Partially anyway. Depoe Bay, OR. The facility they were in is in Salem, Oregon.
