"But I can only say it to you once." That could be a problem for most people, if they will be told only once "I love you" by their soulmate. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. The story is quite interesting - different from so many others.

Who is Jason?? He is mentioned in the synopsis and a couple of times in the chapter and you mentioned him again in the comments. Isn't it Joshua and Joseph? You could use an editor (or self-edit). There are run-on sentences and a few other faux pas, but the plot of the story is intriguing.

I know some have said people these days have the attention span of a fruit fly, but we here like longer chapters. In fact, in your case the longer the better because this story is quite interesting. I like the convolutions and unexpected turns the story is taking.

I don't think anyone would want you to speed up the pace of the story. Just maintaining the pace of the updates would be fine, though.

I like it. The style's a little esoteric, but if one can keep up it sounds like the story could be intense.

Lots of backstory on Shane: his Dad's possible rejection of not only Donovan but him himself was clearly a huge issue, his likely past traumatic physical experience, his seeming inability so far to correct his view of what gayness should look like, his inability to express his feelings to Donovan. Donovan is a nurse so I am surprised to say the least that he has not seriously considered the suggestion that Shane's reaction to the morning sex may have been affected by a past trauma. Great writing.

Um, so, did I miss the result of the STD test? Maybe it was stated and I missed it? Donovan and Shane are both right. Donovan has the right to take however long he feels like to get ready. He does it for himself, not for the benefit of others. He feels better about himself when he preens and he's entitled to that. Shane is also entitled to feel that Donovan's lengthy preening is unnecessary. Perhaps he could have made discretion the better part of valor and kept this opinion to himself, especially not repeat it after he'd been warned off by Donovan. But, I think we saw from the excellent Shane POV we were given that Shane has a problem expressing himself to Donovan.

This is considered writing. Shows depth. Thanks for the update.

Shane did apologize for being an ass to D. Whether you think that is enough or not, some people might think that is enough on which to move on with a drunken shag. Some people would do it for less. I don't think the apology should be forgotten or discounted.

Hot. So clear that Shane is all googly-eyed over D. Not sure how D has not seen that yet; he seems perceptive otherwise, but I guess that is one of the ways the story is so hilarious. Also not sure how they got from the dance floor to a bed in the last chapter, but again, I guess if you are that drunk...Fun story, keep it up.

Is this really the end? I know the designation says it's completed but is that a mistake? The writing is good, the plot is good and I am really hoping this is just the first chapter.

So, no, I don't want to see sub-stories between Justin and Cameron, Novy and AJ, or Hawko and Pix, delightful as those characters are. Save them for the spin-offs. Right now, in this story, I would prefer if you concentrated on the romance between Brady and Ember. Making anything but the most superficial of references to another romance weakens the main story, in my view, and splits the reader's attention too much among characters. Also, it would be great to see longer chapters, they seem to dwindle with each update. The story is very interesting.

This is my first comment on this story, but I couldn't remain silent any longer so sorry for being long here. I love this story! I think it started a little bit slow (but even so it caught my attention) then it has really picked up steam in the last few chapters. First, it is so good to see that Klaus gave up the booty to Jake. Earlier in the story, Klaus told Jake that anal just does not do it for him, but Jake took charge and showed him that it was just the wrong person doing it. Also, I noted that Jake was able to get Klaus to come just from the BJ, which Klaus had told Jake never happens. I was pleasantly surprised that you sort of reversed the sub/dom dynamics between the two. Not really reversed, but eliminated it, because I generally don't like the sub/dom theme and the chapters in which it featured were the ones that I liked the least. Next, they definitely still need to talk, because while Jake has now told Klaus twice about his love, Klaus has yet to reciprocate. Not even in his thoughts does it appear that he recognizes that he loves Jake. The closest he has gone is acknowledging to himself that he misses him. I hope we get an intense confession from Klaus. So, just one more chapter...From the arc of the story I thought that it was maybe best for Jake and Klaus to continue to be separate for a bit while Jake makes his own way in the world and then, in a sequel, have them come back together for the HEA. Something tells me that you are going to end it all in the next chapter, however, so I guess Klaus and Hans's childhood promise of a double wedding is too hard to resist. I just think that may be a little rushed since Hans's wedding is when, the next day or something? And what about Diaz? He's Jake's only living relative and clearly cares for him in his way, despite his many cruel acts towards Jake. Is he also to be at the wedding? And why did Klaus have to darn near maim him? Yeah, looking forward to that talk. Great story. You should be proud.
