    Chapter 3

There are two or three mis-translations from the German in this chapter, I cannot translate the German, but I can correct the English, if you wish me to, or shall I just sit back and enjoy a good story? Oh, and concern for cats need not be a worry – cats were considered as gods in ancient Egypt. idols were made of them in previous metals with jewels for eyes. They were worshipped and prayed to. The methods the Egyptians used to build the pyramids have lately been rediscovered – the chemical makeup of the large stone blocks from which they are constructed shows they were quarried in Aswan far upstream and floated down the Nile by animal skin floats, then raised up the slopes of the pyramids in flooded tubes. The flotation devices were not removed until the blocks were in position in a new level of the structure and once placed, the hide floats tied around the outside removed one by one and the blocks allowed to sink into position. The marvel of the pyramid's construction was not in the movements and placing of the huge blocks of granite, but in the precision with which they were cut – so perfectly even with bronze tools that it is impossible to slip a razor blade between abutting blocks. And with the precision of their placement – even now, 4,000 years later the location and the alignment of the structures is so accurate that, by extrapolating the alignment of the stars backward through time, astronomers can calculate the date of their construction by checking the alignment of their placement with the alignment of the stars as it was 4,000 years ago. Another mystery lately solved is the purpose of the so-called air or vent tubes which lead from the burial chambers buried in the structure in straight lines, but too small to permit the passage of a man's body. When the pyramids were built, these passages were aligned with bright stars and were accepted as being the access of the spirits of the deceased person to the heavens above. Of course, it has been known for hundreds of years that the pyramids were originally covered on the exterior with blocks of marble that made them gleam brightly against the sands of the surrounding desert, but that over the centuries, these marble blocks were stolen to be used to construct government buildings in nearby cities. And that the structures failed miserably in their original purpose. Almost before they were completed, grave robbers had broken into the interiors and stolen most of the valuable artifacts that had been left in there to make the passage of the souls of the dead to heaven,.easier

    Chapter 2

As a slave, even a very tall, skinny one, he would be considered valuable merchandise.which would mean being fed and watered and possibly even treated for sunburn. Apparently the Intelligence will be able to aid in communication, and he will be worth more if he is not marked up by a whip, so torture might be skipped. Let's see where we are going?

    Chapter 1

A suit and leather shoes do not seem to be ideal dress for 115℉ temperatures so some modifications will have to be made!. And a young man over 6' tall in a land of 5'-6" adults will, indeed stick out like a sore thumb. Good translation and excellent pacing, David (did I get that name correct?). We are following on to Ch. 2.

A side note to Kubrikra: If one wishes to be critical of the editing that has been done on an author's work, one should make certain that he has not made a grammar error in his comment. You used 'to' in your comment where you should have used 'too'. Just a friendly hint to a newly hatched commenter.

    Chapter 36

Maybe during out talks we opened - Maybe during our talks we opened ******** I am of two minds about Michael's death. He was plainly insane – certainly a megalomaniac and well deserved to die as even a life in prison would not save the pack from his insanity but his mother is not the Alpha nor is she an enforcer (police officer), so she is not legally the person to perform the assassination. On the other hand, there might be a moral responsibility to rid the world of the wolves from such a person. It is part of the fascination with this story and with your writing, Mann, to leave the reader with such a quandary.

    Chapter 33

The Greek physician, Galen believed that the four humors, black bile, yellow bile, blood, and phlegm, or rather an imbalance between them, was the cause of all illness I wonder if water, fire, earth and air are the more modern equivalents of Galen's 'humors'.and Ethan will become the personification of Galen to the Wolf community?

    Chapter 32

we’ll all take a turn on your when - we’ll all take a turn on your ass when Ethan is a water Elemental and I believe that being in contact with him has created a fire Elemental in Aiden. If there were a third and forurth person involved, I would add earth and air Elementals to the list. Interesting combination of several ancient myths (Druid creations). The wolves call them Elementals and usually there are four, one each for the four ancient elements, water, fire, earth and air. The Ancient Greek medical man, Galen, believe that illness was caused by one of the four Elements being out of balance.

    Chapter 14

Ethan's control of water\ice is not even conscious, so it will be a surprise to many, especially to himself. The blue glow from his eyes is totally different from the orange from the eyes of the pack members, so we have yet to decode that. Your writing continues to be great, Mann. I am reading every new chapter eagerly.

    Chapter 8

I believe in the creation of a story that the author has the responsibility for its creativity and the editor for the mechanics of spelling and punctuation, with Beta reader(s) keeping the pace. In your work, Mann, the entire team coalesces and turns out admiral work. Great job!

    Chapter 7

Extreme congratulations are in order; a an author, Mann, you are in the process of creating a mythical world. Oh, I am sure there will be problems, if there were none of those, there would be little story to tell, but Ethan's acceptance by the pack shows a route that we will be taking. I recall a painting by Edward Hicks, called The Peaceable Kingdom. It, I believe, illustrates a quotation from the Bible about the lion lying down with the lamb. Here we have an entire Lycan village accepting an abandoned human youth into their midst. I could only hope that someday, probably long after I am in the ground, the various families of man could show the sort of acceptance that the Lycan pack, with only one dissenter, has shown Ethan.

    Chapter 6

I guess I am a mechanically oriented person, but some of the discussion of this last chapter began to raise questions in my mind. There must be Lycan females as breeding was mentioned in this chapter. Assuming the female can change just as can the male into either wolf or human form, the mechanics of breeding, carrying young and birth are done in human form as youngsters cannot change until they reach puberty according to my reading. that means insemination and pregnancy would bc like humans, then a baby is born and raised up through about the thirteenth year as a human, then learns how to change to Lycan form. Apparently the families are raised in appearance just like humans, go to school, etc. This is all guess-work on my part, but how close am I coming to what happens? Somehow a Lycan football team strikes me as a little humorous!

    Chapter 4

Well a wolf-boy gay relationship developing. That is going to make life VERY interesting for Ethan (and difficult for Aiden).

    Chapter 2

A couple of editorial changes you might want to consider: One use of too instead of to and one is a wolf, two are wolves. But this is just minor nit-picking. In total, a great promise for a story, the Alpha keeping the pups in line; a were-bear as a doctor. Waiting for the full moon to see if Ethan has been turned? Superior writing WolfM, I am sure the next few chapters will answer some questions and create others! I looked up the bear in the Mowgli stories, his name was Baloo and he too was a teacher for Mowgli. I wonder if your reading of Mowgli as a youth influenced your decision to make the animal of the doctor a were-bear? Mister Will
  20. JJ and Breeze are better suited than JJ and Simon, but I am sure Simon is going to get in there somehow. This story is one continuous porn tale. Too bad it is not a movie. Well, I guess one can't have everything!
  21. Just who is the user and who is used' This looks very much like a mutually satisfactory arrangement to me. Firstly, the age of consent in Texas is 17 which means that technically, Simon is committing Statutory Rape (apparently JJ is only 16 going on 17. He has a driver's license), however, unless somebody notifies the police, Very shortly Simon would be off the hook and I don't see JJ's father taking enough interest in his son's welfare to make such a report. His mother is too browbeaten to do so. This is probably a case where the less said, the better.

I am pleased that this story is being published on GA as I do not support Kindle. Too much temptation! Speaking of 'old' , you guys don't know what OLD is. Wait until you are 87 before you talk about old. Mister Will

The English language has absorbed words from so many languages that almost anything you want to say has been used before. Go ahead, be creative, if you sep over the line, some grammarian out there will shit all over you. Just ignore them and cherish your language creativity. I have developed the reputation derived from years of teaching foreign born kids the ins and outs of English to have become MUCH more accepting in my old age Hey, if it feels good, do it! Mister Will

This chapter is a first class teaser. Your introductions of the characters have established the background story and opened up paths to very interesting and exciting relationships. You are doing great, keep up the good work, filing more chapters as you complete the writing. Enjoy the compliments you will receive from your readers and don't let their encouragement force you into publishing at an inconvenient speed. Long time readers of GA stories have learned about the restrictions the bosses place on frequency of publication and we are content with any reasonable publishing schedule. Mister Will
