Nice pacing to the story. I loved "Saturday: I passed!!" Enjoy the characters very much and the fact that except for the image on the story page, it wasn't evident the protagonist is black until the last chapter. -

I'm liking some of the elements - the 4 kids that are introduced. They Rowdy character is a really decent one - you can imagine a ton of things about him without the story needing more description. The LJ kid isn't really described very well. I really would have liked more details about him, some build up of a connection and description of the naughty deeds. I personally don't like stories with drugs, especially with kids, but maybe others will enjoy it. -
So enjoyable - and a chapter with the finest ending!

Besides great world building, I'm very impressed with the automated food dispensers. When i was five, I loved this Japanese movie (Destroy all planets) where a little boy is abducted by a robotic turtle spaceship. There is a wall console and the kid asked for and received sandwiches. At the time I thought that was so cool. So the dining automat in this story (as well as the bathroom descriptions) were a very fun element to add into a fantasy mage story. What an experience!

So excellent. I was required to get an HIV test every year in the military and was always so nervous until it came back negative. That and the fear of being discovered and getting in trouble were big. This trilogy of friends from youth and moving forward in life together has been a very satisfying read. I bet there's a lot of truth and personal history in this.

Great story, as are the continuations. The guy in the Gremlin reminded me of the Oakland County killer (Michigan 1978-80)

Never understood this pan thing but will go along with it - the explanation from the character provides all the needed insight so far.

Refreshing without resorting to stereotypes. @John Henry has been raised by addicts. That must be tough - something I have no experience with, so I guess it's nice to read something informed by someone else's life experiences.

Interesting and different start for a story. I've not known people like Calvin because I've been good at keeping them away - not everyone is so lucky.

So happy to see this here! I remember reading this as a single shot chapter some time ago. It was so well written, I especially liked the sex scene corresponding to the train passing by. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes now! -

Great story so far. I think we've got Nathan pretty well characterized at this point and have a good idea where the story is going. Corey is still a mystery, like why he participated in the behavior to start with? What is his interest in Nathan? It will be fun to read and find out.- 31 comments

This is a great story worth reading, starting with well crafted characters that the reader can get into. There area wide range of characters in this story. The concept of animal revenge and the communing with nature were really different for gay literature. The romance was beautiful and smile provoking. I really don't care about the animal angle in the story but it was a great mechanism to create something different. Biff has a real way of giving his stories very unique names as well. I highly recommend this one!

The concept of the remote drones collecting information and relaying it back is really intriguing and enjoyable to read about.

Nicely done. Great progression. I'm curious as to where this will go. Although I'd like to read some gay content in this story, i'm pleased that most of the people in it, like the real world, are heterosexual. It makes the story seem more credible.

It's too bad this is on long term hold. It left me hanging. . . This was a very well written story and could be one of the better ones on GA if it completed.
