    Boyfriends

    Thanks for reading, Kitt. 🙂
  2. Sheriff Keen left Wren and Caleb to their upcoming demolition project, turning down the road leading to Rachel's house. He, Adam and Rachel were all close to the same age, and they went to school together, so Casey knew Rachel well. When Adam had disappeared a decade ago, Casey was sure he'd be found. Adam's vehicle was still parked so he couldn't have gotten far. At least, that was what they had thought. As the days went on, all of them began to accept that Adam was gone. After weeks of eff
  3. Get some rest, Fae. Hope you feel all right tomorrow.

    Chapter 20

The only person who can tell a paramedic that a person is dead is a doctor. Even in cases of OBVIOUS death, it's not within the scope of a paramedic to declare anyone deceased. So, yeah... still his duty to try and save Harris. Yes, Jenoah got out before the rest of the posse arrived. Chad was distracted, and Timothy was in no condition to arrest anybody. I know you already answered your question about Corbin's title by reading the next chapter. The people in jail are no loss for Corbin. His Family was filled with brutal individuals. He has no love for them.

    Chapter 21

I went and messed with my notifications. I wasn't getting them for a lot of things, but I unselected then reselected them. Now they work.
  6. Sounds great to me. Enjoy, Fae.

    Chapter 21

Thanks for reading and commenting. It was a lot of fun to write this one. A lot to track, and remember, but still great fun.

    Chapter 21

Thanks, Timothy. 🙂 I don't know why I didn't see your comments until now. You're right. Corbin can go legit should he like, and all of what you said is true. I'm glad you liked the story. 🙂

    Chapter 19

Losing his family broke Harris. It shattered who he was, and it drove him to do things he never would have otherwise. That includes clouding his judgment and destroying his sense of morality. At this point in the game, he doesn't care much about himself and if he is caught. He doesn't even care much if he lives. But, he certainly did want Corbin's suffering to go on for as long as possible. Harris wanted him to hurt. Then he wanted him to die.

    Chapter 16

You are burning through this story! 🙂 And we'll have to see how miss Zampa and the rest of them all fare.

    Chapter 8

Me? *looks utterly appalled such an accusation could land on someone so innocent* I'm just here to tell the story, good editor. To act merely as an instrument of the universe. If it happens to be fun to torture characters, then I can't help that. 🙂

I'm glad you're enjoying the story! It has been a great bit of fun to write. 😊 There's more to come! Thanks for commenting!
  13. Maybe a nap is in order, Mac. Hasn't your weather been whacked out there?
  14. Thanks, Thorn. We both know I suck with commas, but that's all right. We've all got our weaknesses. Hey. Aren't you supposed to be celebrating someone's birthday or something? 😎
  15. Where? When? I must have missed my dose.
  16. I'm glad you got to visit her, Fae. More, I'm happy you were there to support your mom and your other aunt. They're still here, and they will remember that.
  17. Good morning, Mac. I hope the day has started well.
  18. Thanks, Mac. 🙂
  19. I've seen many now, and GA has the best set up of all of them. So, I can tell you that you're not missing much. Most of the descent authors on the other sites find their way here too.
  20. GA has a pretty fantastic recipe as an author and as a reader. Particular types of stories are easy to find, your favorite authors simple to follow, and comments/feedback is rewarding to deliver and receive. So far, it's the best I've seen to write/read on from a purely mechanical point of view. It also happens to be the best in terms of quality as well.
  21. I've had a few sites ask to host that story. Maybe I really did hit upon a recipe folks like. lol
  22. I'd suggest waiting to read it if you had a mind to do so. There's a lot to fix. What some of my past readers have said, I've taken to heart... I won't change the "meat" of it. It'll just be mechanical fixes. But it will read much smoother.
  23. You might be right. There was a lot going on. I set out to hit on as many different struggles I could feasibly get to in the story, and still keep the reader from feeling like it was just one big string of various crises. Thanks for the nice words, Kitt. I'll make it here, much improved too.
