lol from what i recall, this has nothing to do with matriarchy. completely the opposite 😜 : the father was the head of the family and « Ma » seemed to be a title given for the power, may be like the one given by the Emperor for his best warriors. but i’m not sure about all this , better check with someone who knows better than me 😬

excellent chapter ! 👍 so we have now a new character who might be Jihan future enemy or a potential Empress future puppet 😳 interesting ! Rashan is so cute ! ❤️ btw this story remind me something i was told about old chinese traditions : in ancient times, children used to call their father « Ma » and mother was actually « Pa », especially in noble families. And until recently, people use to give their boys names with female connotations (according to the modern standards) like flowers,.. and girls got names with male connotations.

yes heat AND humidity together are just a huge torture !! 🙈 i never visit places, where humidity is over 80% and temperature over 30°C !! 😳

about the creation in 7 days by god, isaac Asimov wrote a really interesting and funny novel. God and Moses (or was it another prophet ?) was talking about the creation, God started the story for Moses but Moses stopped it , saying « i don’t have enough papyrus for many billions years story » , so god said : should i cut shorter to 1 million years? Moses said : still too long God : 1000 years ? Moses : still too long God : 100 years ? Too long. 10 years ? 1 year ? 1 month ? Too long. 1 week ? Moses : that’s ok . 🤣

amazing chapter with the pirates trying to attack the Duchess. well, Peter isn’t the only one who had problem with american slang 😳 it took me longer to read this chapter ! 😆

it’s not only poor people. Even wealthy people don’t cook. « Wasted time ! » the result is that the youngest ones don’t how to cook and they don’t even know how to recognise raw food : carot, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, cauliflower, leek, broccoli,.. many don’t know how they are like for real !

most people can cook (and clean) when they are alone (otherwise they would starve😂) i cook because i like eating and because when i was young my parents were working and my sister cooked like 💩😂 (she does better now that she is married 🤣) now with all the fast food and deliveries, people don’t bother learn to cook 😒 that’s a shame because most of the time it is full of bad stuff !

Robin Williams was really good. and « Priscilla » is a great movie ! i loved it 😃 nice chapter 👍 and too bad it is soon the end of the honeymoon.
