I came this late in the "day" & I've read all related stories in the last two months & love everything about them & I'm hooked!! Ok I'm confused (& I'm the first to admit it's easily done lol) wasn't this chapter posted last weekend !? !? In the activity section it's down as a newly posted chapter as of two hours ago, not amended or altered but a new chapter!? Can anyone shed light on this !?!? Thanks Ian

Hi there loving the story overall but I'm confused on a few things: 1) where is Jex going to be running the vet practice from!? 2) what was the job his old friend chucked in!? 3) what were the papers stored in the picture frame & did they get them to use in the museum or are they still classified?? 4) how could they be dog tags from soldiers presumed missing or killed in action whilst based there?!? Or have I misread that??? 5) who laid the runway ied's & to what end or is this a "tbc"!? 6) Why did Jex decide not to change Uni's to finish his dbl degrees!?. Hope you don't think I'm being too daft or nit picking as this isn't my intention I'm just struggling to follow bits & I'm not quite as invested in the plot lines as i usually am with all of your work!?!! A great chapter! I have a complaint though - call me greedy (gready git i hear you all shout) but I'd like longer chapters on a daily basis!! Lol but i also know that "i want doesn't get" lol Sometimes new stories are slow burners & slow for the reader to become invested in the characters but this isn't the case!! I'm hooked & can't wait to see & learn whats coming next!?!? Adan & Roku are so believable & those on the peripherals of this are too to a lesser degree but only as they are introducing new situations & forming the future story at this stage!?!? I'll take it on the chin if I'm wrong!? (Honest!!) A great read & I'm loving it!! Thank you!!

For all that has been in the media here in the UK in the last 12 months or so about the increase in mental health issues that are especially being acknowledged by men & aimed at men in regards to opening up & asking for help and it's ok to do so without looking weak ! and to do so before depression etc takes hold or worsens this isn't new it's more that in the inncreasingly media savy world we are hearing more about it as it happens whether that be film stars footballers or a friend or neighbout etc via social media it's like watching war reports as they happen etc. They have always happened we are just privy to it right here & right now because of technology!?! The British "stiff uper lip " prevailed for far too long!! People aren't so afraid of saying that they are struggling or asking for help as the stigmas of mental health are falling away slowly but surely!?!? I grew up in Scotland near the historic golfing town of St Andrews. We lived a cottages opposite the large old Victorian psychiatric hospital where my mother was a night staff nurse & all our neighbours worked their too, we grew up playing in the extensive grounds & I worked their as a cleaner in the evenings whilst at secondary school (high school) & I learned that all types colours, religions, sexual orientation nor wealth made you more likely nor safe from developing a mental health condition. Nothing that occcured there or via patients out & about in the local town were great cause for concern nor to be feared. It was the norm then (mid to late 1980's) & probably still is there it was all taking in their strides eith co can but no pity for those involved. It's now becoming like this world wide & this had to be good! No stigma, no recriminations, no weakness just different degrees of illness that can be treated & cared for in an enlightened way with most people understanding at least partly that mental health issues aren't "catching " and even a little bit of kindness can go a long way & could even improve say a person with depression day in a small way that could trigger a desire to get help or to manage their condition or just feel "normal" (subjective I know but meant in the simplest & purest of senses!!). Ok I'm done for tonight lol is NY here in the UK n has been for 90 mins & the myriad of fireworks n explosions have died off & it's less like what I'd imagined downtown Helmand province in Afghanistan was like in the height of the war!?!? Thank you for tackling a touchy subject in such a head first kind of way! It's tough, gritty & doesn't pull any punches!! Life can be shitty, people can be shitty to others but it's understanding why & how you can change things or change yourself or your circumstances that's the hard part either asking for help or learning how to move forward!!
