Chapter 7: The Leopard’s Spots
weinerdog commented on Topher Lydon's story chapter in Chapter 7: The Leopard’s Spots
I'm going to be very curious how they are going to twist C S Lewis words to manipulate Jason. I can see possibilities with how Lewis speaks of Moral Law. Also the Trilemma Lewis refers to Liar,Lunatic or Lord. Oh my -

What I am not sure about is Rachel all in on this or is Merrick and Marcus using her also? -

“That’s it,” Dylan threw up his hands. “I’m hard coding ‘There’s a Difference’ into the LLM language code, when we eventually get this damn AI bullshit to work, it’s forever going to be saying ‘There’s a Difference’ like a parrot. I am going to immortalize that damn phrase of yours till the end of time. Hundreds of years from now, AI bots are going to be spouting it out, ad nauseum, and everyone will know it came from you So does that mean AI has been helping write @Topher Lydon chapters? -

There was an 8-track player mounted under the dash. A car that looks like a boat? And now a 8-track playerI always wondered how did did the makers of 8 tracks always seem to know the best song on the album to split in two?

The boy’s cocky, toothy grin was a testament to his utter lack of shame. The grin wasn't the only thing that was cocky

Kudus to Matt and the gang they pulled out all the stops ‘Thanks, guys. This is sick.’ Wow Levi really is learning the lingo. He would would have never said something like that in his previous life. Sweet sixteen and never been kissed, or so they say! Hope it was a good day for you?’ Well @Mark Ponyboy Peters could have taken care of whenever been kissed part but I guess too soon. Maybe when he's 17 Mark?

I'm like @kbois my legalese is very limited. When Rebecca showed up with that huge folder I could think of two things one they have evidence of an illegal transgression and did or and this involves my lack of business knowledge could there be a bunch of silent partners with enough capital to put their bid over the top?Is the ladder realistic?

“I assure you, Mr. Penn, that would require considerably more paperwork.” Is this the first time in the story Ash last name been revealed

“Damn,” Rupert muttered, looking around. “Whole county decided to get drunk tonight.” “Probably because they heard you were comin’,” Robert said. Rupert looked offended. “My presence brings elegance to establishments.” “It brings noise complaints.” Great stuff Country music drifted through old speakers somewhere overhead while pool balls cracked sharply from the back corner. Is this one of life undeniable truths? All ranchers like country music? None of them like Rock and Roll

I was thinking the exact same thing as I was reading the chapter and here is the thought in the very first comment. The only thing I can do for you now is to make sure he can never touch you. Even if that means handing you the capacity to destroy the ranch I spent decades building. I know you won't unless it's necessary. I know you won't destroy it out of spite. I would be just like Taggert and NOT destroy the ranch because good people also work there. But here is where I'm not as pure as Taggert I would love to see Zane's reaction as he's listening to the USB of course I would have the Nasser Ranch people behind me as I'm watching. Seeing Zane's face change all different sort of colors before hopefully he internally combusts

I must be missing something Merrick thinks Jason is the key to his plan I think Jason will be the factor that Will and Andrew will rally around

Like @Flip-Flop and I suspect many other readers very few saw this coming. Here is one thing that concerns me did the crew take the actions that it did because the mission was immoral? And they didn't want to do it? Another possibility is they knew what happened to earth was inevitable and this was a mission to find another habitat which is why the ship was meant to be found. Did The Horien Edge start the mission in our time or was their start point futuristic from our perspective

Your use of the word deposit got me thinking ,Did James leave behind and active investment account or even a savings account? Even with low interest after 400 years it could add up😄

"Do we have a deck thirteen?" Silas sighed. "Well, it's called the Aardvark deck to avoid using the word thirteen. I'm still surprised that this superstition about the number thirteen continues in this time. Humans are very odd." This is why at this moment I didn't leave a reaction to @kbois and @MichaelS36 excellent comments because at the moment their comment reaction count sits at 12 and If I react now my reaction would put them at 13 and I ....just.... CAN"T
