Great chapter a few days at the beach was a great idea. Getting off the train to go have a meal, where he knew the host family, is certain to out himself as a great artist .

It may well only have been 19 paragraphs ( I wouldn't dream of counting) but there was more than enough content to make for a most enjoyable chapter xx

Wow great chapter read most of it with tears in my eyes. Hopefully JJ and Henry along with the support of all their friends can thwart the plans by Jitendra's family that have had nothing to do with the children, but now want to use them to get hold of a lot of money. Just evil.

What a fantastic chapter full of empathy for others not as well off as themselves, their kindness knows no bounds. They set a great example for us all to follow.

re the total immersion of someone into another language ... this happened on my uncle's farm back in Rhodesia when English students wanted to increase their proficiency in Afrikaans (spoken by many Rhodesians / our South African neighbours and taught in our senior schools) Students would spend their school holidays on the farm and were coached by my uncle, aunt and cousins and of course the total change from city living to spending time on a farm was also an added bonus. A certain amount of English was spoken to explain various aspects of the language.

Love the humour re the parents nude portrait. The girls have no class as shown by their total disrespect by taking food and returning it after just a bite as well as helping themselves to the water on the boys' table.
