"Like out of the blue, Jerry’s dad wasn’t too excited about him going to school" was just out of the blue for me. We knew previously his dad didn't see much point in school guess that just emphasized the challenges Jerry has had growing up and fighting to get an education.

Something about the ending of this story made me a bit emotional. While Chaz' life seems full, it also seems very empty of having that significant person with him. One has to wonder if Lee was he one and only love. "Out of billions of people, we got it down to two, I choose you!"

Doesn't surprise me that Jackass got into trouble and now is going to drag Bobby's family into it as well. Bobby was smart in moving to the cottage and away from all that. Chaz seems to have himself in a pickle with the wrong people wanting to potentially use his technology for criminal purposes.

I would imagine that Uncle Jackass got a new ass, or should have, after Robert found out about the sexual innuendos when Bobby stayed with him. There definitely would've been a coming to jeezuz if Bobby were my son and I found out that shit - especially happening when Bobby was underage ... jackass would've had both my feet planted firmly in his ass on the say out the door ... never to be welcomed back!

Some say Uncle5% ... I still say Uncle JACKASS and stick to that. For Bobby not to even feel welcome in his own home is unconscionable, especially around the holidays. It didn't surprise me at all about the innuendos to his friends that jackass has toward Bobby when staying with him. Those individuals are the most vile on the face of the planet. Toward your own nephew??? Really??? Disgusting!!!

WOW, a lot going on in this chapter. When reading, I just felt the smile on Bobby's face and his excitement as they headed off to his new Big Adventure. Shocking his parents weren't more excited for him. Sad!

WTH??? Bobby got a full ride scholarship and mom is still telling him he should take Uncle 'jackass' Marks money??? AYFKM??? Something about that just smells SOUR - more so mom looking out for her selfish brothers greed rather than her own sons future and well being. Can one just imagine being indebted to that jackass and the control he would try to wield based on what we've seen thus far? NO THANK YOU!!! Run Bobby, RUN!!! Chaz to the rescue!!!

Hopefully I just missed the part where Chaz ate the hamburgers Bobby had graciously made for him before going to bed. Even though he was tired, ignoring someones very kind gesture of making you dinner and thinking about you would be extremely rude. Bobby seems like a great kid and seems to have a very strong bond with Chaz. Heartwarming!

Scholarship scheme sounds like something I've done! Hell, what they don't know won't hurt them and they'll be a better person because of it! LOL!!! Plus, it feels AMAZING helping someone like that!

Bobby is a great kid though Kent is a bad influence on everyone. I think I'd probably told Bobby he's welcome to continue his party but Kent has to go home and is not welcome back.
