  1. Poor Paulie. It's about time to go on a permanent field trip to a junk yard. Either that or they're close to the edge of the forest. Yeah, let's go with that instead of an author oversight... Priorities are on point with Vinnie. Mace, food, sight seeing, and more Mace. I'm sure we can find something for Mace to do in his spare time. For now, he'll keep playing my favorite video game... How long will it take Vincent to be covertly naive? I think he might become even more two-faced than Cyrus. Lol, I love the "going out" aspect. They can literally go anywhere for dinner! Both RJ and Vin are bouncing truths off each other. A sign of a great partnership. Grumpy is really growing on me. I still say you'd enjoy Grumpy Bear's Werebears in America series, Patch.
  2. Cyrus just might be my favorite character. It's a tough call between him and Cyn from Cernunnos, but Cy and Kap are definitely my favorite couple.
  3. With Vincent off on another adventure, Mason struggled to keep himself entertained. There was plenty of work to be done at the farm office in terms of paperwork now that it was a new year. He set another stack in the outbox slot on his desk. This fuckin' sucks! It just doesn't stop. His mind relapsed to their wedding reception. The party was unforgettable. Escorting his husband by the hand, Mason saw everyone in attendance as they all loudly welcomed them. Holy shit… Outside the commu

    Chapter 17

I sees 19. Will get to it after my workout.
  5. Dialect is always a funky thing, especially with places we call home. Even in the town I live in, there's a controversy involving a street name. "Frederica Street." 75% of us say fred-reeka, while the rest plus the GPS systems say "fred-er-eeka." Then again, this is in Kentucky... our dialect is generally off no matter what we're supposed to say.

    Chapter 17

I'm conflicted. On one hand, you're right; it would be padding. On the other, my art education background would be quite pleased if you did list 50. In the upcoming anthology, I wanted to use phthalo-green, but settled for another that didn't require the reader to research. As both an art geek and a wannabe comedian, I prefer tints over shades
  7. Thank you so much! Love finding new readers. Make sure you head back to the main page and leave a recommendation and/or a review
  8. Always happy to give free goosebumps
  9. Lmao! "Oh sh!t" is right. I hope you get caught up to the current story so you can join the ones that wait for the weekly posting.
  10. Ooooh, you saved this chapter for a calm, rainy day. I love it! I'm so happy you enjoyed the chapter. I can't wait for you to learn more about Cyrus and his past.
  11. Don't know how I missed this comment. I can't wait to show the reception. Some mouths are definitely going to water. Let's just hope there's few vegetarians there. Just wait until the newlyweds start dancing...
  12. As per usual, we have some sneaky stinky stuff going on. This Curtis guy better be caught red-handed soon, or else things aren't going to go well for our bears. Also per usual, I'm donning my "I'm Callin' It" cap, but for waaaay down the plot line. Curtis will get caught, but somehow Ezekiel will oversee the disciplinary, as Curtis's actions involve the bears. Our brilliant bear leader will see a bright solution, force the wolf to live amongst them in Atikokan, and eventually falls for the rascal. #boom #callinit

    Chapter 102

I think Cia is trying to force me off Timok's trail, but I'm committed. Timok has to be a traitor. Seedrah's too much of a loyal puppy. Oh lord, this lunking entity better be friendly. EIther Garjah, Seedrah, or a familiar rebel.
  15. Oh, Cyrus is wonderful. I can't wait for you to read more about him.
  16. I totally get the Cookie Monster thing. When I envisioned the concept of the animal spirit's consciousness, there is a spoken-language barrier. A lot of the animals don't understand how to speak fluent English, but enough to scrape by and for their human minds and others to understand. Other than that, mmmm hotdoggin'... Thanks for reading!
  17. Precious and dangerous. I love this description! I don't think we'll get a better two words for Vincent's wolf.
  18. Congrats, northie!!!
  19. Mobile is fixed. Now all of GA on desktop is goobered. PM-ing, Blogs, Clubs, Story archives... The whole thing. Edit. Never mind. All clear
  20. Stories and author archives are affected again, but only on mobile (Chrome) on my end. Desktop operates just fine (also Chrome).
  21. Added...
  22. Uh oh... I knew I was forgetting something... Need to add a quick line.
  23. It's still a decision that's reasonable for when two shifters talk about getting married. The discussion of name-changing has to come up; most marriages cause this conversation. Sure, it'll be many decades down the line, but at least they have a game plan. The Black Forest was the first place that came to mind when I needed a honeymoon destination for these guys. We're putting Stefan and other issues off to the side for a week. Let's hope Christmas evening prepared Vincent for all the bedroom antics that will surely come... Like I said back in CH 4, I never intended for these two to get married, but I think it was a great turn-out. I'm sure everyone here is invited. Someone bring kbois, please? We'll need her alcohol expertise. No... I wouldn't do such a thing. I'm sure Tasha and Elaine have made it in their respective homes enough to handle the mac and cheese. I would be damned if I didn't have Vincent's parents attend the wedding. That was a must in my books. *gasp* This chapter rendered Patch's emoji-affinity powerless!? I refuse to believe it. I think a lot of people forgot about it. I love mentioning something at the begining of a story, then bringing it up when everyone leasts expects it.
  24. Still having the same issue as my last thread post, but I'm on mobile. Desktop (on Chrome) is perfect. Mobile (Chrome) looks different in multiple ways. Forums are a mess, but this is the most interesting. I think the top bar has potential. Edit: adding more fun info. Samsung's crappy Internet app also acts a mess.
  25. I may be a wee bit sleep deprived, but now we're getting a bit goofy. Mobile's acting kinda funky.
