  1. Looking back at the chapter... Wagner has been around Harold's office, so he knows her species. Other than that, I'll just 🤐.
  2. We'll get back to Vincent and his training wheels soon enough. Patience Love your comments, Patch.
  3. Gotcha. Keeping my taste in men to myself then. I wouldn't dare sideline Kaplan. @Patch1 might start a war if I did. I'll give you my favorite quote in return. "Apathy's a tragedy and bored is a crime."
  4. Uh uh. That is 100% Certified Grade-A, grass fed, no steroid given beef. That... That's steroids.
  5. Neither have cushion, therefore there will not be any pushin'. Allow me to redirect your attention to someone more my speed...
  6. Viva Wisconsin! Man, I really need to get caught up on all my projects so I can work on the Cernunnos sequel...
  7. I might be having a stroke. Edward was the vampire, right? Jacob the wolf? Eh, either way, both were too twinkish for my taste. Where's the gay version of the movie with thick and studly men with beards and broad shoulders?
  8. Cyrus may have pack dibs, but just how long has Weidman been planted? Does Tilliman have "I was here first; na-nah-nuh-boo-boo, stick your head in doo-doo" dibs? Or maybe the question should be how many vampires Harold has unknowingly evicted?
  9. Another wonderful chapter. What a beautifully worded letter! Siku, you're a master wordsmith. Maybe he should go into writing... Ah-Ha! Grumpy is Siku! The theory is coming to life! Gunnar is opening a can of worms... with Charlie! I forkin' knew that cat had some celestial thingiemahjig going on! I am so jealous though... Gunnar gets a nose boop from the orange tabby. JEALOUS!!!! Wonderful work, Grumpy. Lovely as always.
  10. I would really hate to be either Henson or Tilliman. Can't wait to start on the next chapter! I never cared for the Twilight nonsense, mostly since neither was my type. That, and when it all came out in high school, girls came at me threateningly and demanded for me to take a side, and I was damned the moment I said, "I don't care." Twilight, Team Jacob, and Team Edward created turf wars across the United States educational system...
  11. “Sheila Weidman?” Cyrus lowered a box gently onto the kitchen counter. “Yes, that’s what the drop said. Alex left a hefty one last night. He even sent a USB with an audio file.” Opening the package, he unwrapped the ceramic plates and set them into the cabinets as Kaplan sorted the containers in the living room. Moving into the new condominium, the bear was more than satisfied with the selection. Not as upscale, but the view is better. Top floor with stairway access to the rooftop pat
  12. I mean, you can if you want to, but I wouldn't go around announcing it. That's quite a kink to be into...
  13. Beware the man in the suit for the Easter kid photos at the shopping mall... It could be The Bun...
  14. And I don't know how I missed this comment! I like exciting tales about unexciting things. I'm still working on my Tales of Inanimate Objects project, but that'll be fun to post. Thanks for stopping by, Reader! Just be careful next Easter.
  15. Well thank ya kindly! I always appreciate a nice and chuckle-worthy conversation.
  16. Ah, but will he terrorize again? Only the prompts will tell. Thanks for reading, Patch!
  17. Sorry. I prefer Ding Dongs. 😌

    Chapter 27

He'll learn the benefits of being eaten [out] one of these days...
  19. Prompts are so much fun! You never know when one will spark inspiration. I call them voluntary homework assignments to my coworkers. They really get my brain going when I hit a block. Glad you're enjoying yourself!

    Chapter 24

Cyn learning the processes of humanity will always be some of my favorite writing. It takes a minute, but you eventually get what he's trying to say. Personally, my favorite running gag of this book is Cyn spelling out his name. Someone hears it and is slapped with confusion. "Cyn? Must be a child of Satan. BEGONE, FOUL DEMON NAMED SIN!"
  23. What? You don't like hydrochloric acid? Isn't that what Twinkie filling is made of?
  24. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.
  25. Nah, keep them coming. Just no carrots please.
