Good night. And yes it is still early but I did not sleep very long last night. I will be up really early since it will be raining and my order collie freaks out when it rains and she tries to tear my doors or windows trying to get out to run off. I lost her once for almost 24 hours when I did not realize it was fixing to rain. A neighbor across the interstate found her trying to get in his yard and he had to call the vet to find out who she belonged to. He brought her to me when he got off work. That was 4 years ago.

Dinner was interesting with the kind of conversation they all had. Wondering how the dessert will turn out with what kind of conversation! I love this story!

I hate when my stepson gets my mail out of my mailbox and never rings it to me until I say something. He is so forgetful. I guess this old lady will have to start walking to her neighbors house which is where my mailbox is. I live in front of the interstate where there is a overpass that vehicles turn under and some don't pay attention to the way they drive so I can't put my mailbox in front of my house. There are 2 more people that live down the road behind me, (I own the road since it is part of the land and have to give the right of way to the people behind me to get to their property), which they have to have their mailboxes put in front of our neighbors house like I do. So I bet I don't get my mail tonight at all!

I am waiting to hear about the interesting dinner when their guest(s) come in. lol As for the last part before wiping his mouth, I was disappointed in that scene! What no details? That is depressing! lol

I am agreeing with Gary on this about Death wanting to see Diego and uses the death of children to do that. I am enjoying this story!

What he said! I love it when people beat me to the punch! I may not have had a health issue like Patch, but I do isolate myself and have been doing that since before the pandemic hit. I do wear a mask when I am out. I look at people that don't wear one and just shake my head. I don't say anything cause it does not do any good. My stepson and his wife think this is a hoax to get all of into a world of communism. They need their head examined. But I don't say anything to them unless they are fighting with one another at the top of their lungs and then I will. But like Aaron said, we have been through all this through our history and it got better and it will this time. So let's all wear a mask, wash our hands, social distance, and stay at home more than you are use to. It will not hurt you. You all probably have projects you need to do at home that you have put off cause you really don't feel up to it. Do them now while you can so you can get back to your life when the pandemic is over!

Oh wow! I would have told the lady off myself if I had been a customer. She should have been watching her children. But if I had done that then I would been in the wrong too. Some people do not even think beyond their stunts! I have been a BITCH customer at times but sometimes I just let some things go which is the best thing to do. I might have been mad but after I calmed down then I knew I just should let it go. Some people can not control their temper. If she had a problem with an employee then she should have not asked at being cashed out at the register. She should have asked for you right away and she could have waited till you got lose to attend to her.

Well, I was going to say the same thing as Buz, but he beat me to it! lol I loved working midnight shift. I loved the people who had the nerve to work that shift and it made me think, you midnight people are awesome! I got more done on that shift than I did on any other shift. Even though, when a circus came into town and they set up in the shopping mall the store I worked in was near it, then I got frustrated with the customers. Some that wanted to buy beer right when you had to lock the doors on the beer box, thought it was unfair to them that they could not get any. Oh well, I am not losing my job over you just because you have a habit of being late to get it. It wasn't my fault! The law could be doing a sting and I am not going to be stupid and sell it to you, is what I am telling them. Plus I tell them there are cameras in the store. Do they think I am stupid? I

You poor baby! Noah needs to kiss it and make it better so you don't stress yourself out too much! Tell him I said so! hehehe Even though him doing that might bring you more pleasure and take you away from GA for awhile, but it will be worth it! hehehe Just take a slow cleansing breath and let that and the love of your life help you get through all the laughable things you have forgotten and you will be good. We can wait! Your needs need to be taken care of first and ours last. We will be fine! We all love you and your stories and we will wait anxiously as long as you can!

One of the funniest things as a customer is that when a employee sees you down a different aisle each time you pass and they say, "We need to stop meeting each other like this or someone will start talking!" That was the funniest thing I have ever heard and I use it occasionally when I see someone several times in the store. That employee made me feel good and he made me laugh. I love it when people treat you like that. But when you are in retail or work in the public, then you don't get to much like that from your customers. If I ever get to your state and town and I see you several times then I will make your day by making you laugh.

@NFields1608, that was brilliant! I loved it. I understand what you go through. Some people just don't get how hard it is to do a job when you work for the public. It is harder than you think to have to do your job to the best of your ability, but some people just think we are all super heroes. And that we should just give them what they wanted just because they shopped there. They feel like we owe them cause they are the ones spending their money so the employees get paid, even though some people don't realize that at all. They just think we owe them. Not saying that all people are like that but some that think that, they think they are better than the working class of people. We work just like the customers do and we want them to be happy but we can not go against policy just because they did not get their way.

I love this! It reminds me of some good and ad memories of working with the public like that. I have been a cashier in convenient stores, cashier at Walmart, softline employee at Walmart, cashier at fast food, waitress in cafes and restaurants, barmaid in bars and clubs so have been around the public to see how some people act stupid. I usually just shook my head. But times I have to put some in their place and they do apologize to me for acting the way they did. So I understand what you and Noah has been through

Well, I am going to add that you better make a very, very, very long epilogue cause we all want a very long happy ending! hehehe I am so happy they are together and the thought that everyone in the town hopefully will be as happy for them through the years too! As for @84Mags, I am so happy that you found your sweet husband at a early age. You made me smile when you said you kissed him when you read the part Coy said about how long they will be together. Keep him in your arms as well as he keeps you in his arms and love each other like there is no tomorrow!
