I knew he was going to get a guitar like he inherited from his dad but it got stolen, I knew he was! hehehehe That made me happy.
A good friend by the name of Gary, I went to school with played guitar and was really talented and he wrote music too. Plus the words to his music. He passed away of cancer one year, but before he did, he use to come over and play his guitar while visiting my husband and I. He inherited a Gibson Les Paul from his late uncle but it needed to be restored so he just kept it here at our house cause his wife had a tendency to sell his stuff when she was angry at him. So when he passed away, my husband and I had a friend that played guitar, to restore it for us. After my husband passed away, I gave it to Gary's brother, Glen who was so grateful to have an instrument that belonged to his brother cause his sister in law would not let any sibling have anything of Gary's. When Glen passed away last year, then their sister got it. They are so grateful to me for having a family heirloom since the guitar was made in the 1950's.
