I am only nitpicking to ensure I have previously understood correctly the familial relationship between the various parties. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Mrs Prescott is a repeat offender, but I cannot remember which story she has appeared in before. I suspect it was/is one of the Jacksonville Jaunts stories, but I could be wrong. Derek's new job sounds ideal for his circumstances and experiences. As @drsawzall has wisely counselled, it may cramp Derek and Jeremy's style a little given they are lusty newlyweds, but with effort they should be able to manage this. A mostly delightful chapter @Lee Wilson, the only real thorn in their side being Derek's odious Aunty Cuntryn and Uncle Bob making their ugly presence felt again, albeit by hearsay.

@Lee Wilson does that manufacturing plant in Bumfuck, Georgia, have a patent on the Uncle Bob arseholes it has been mass-producing. Firstly, we have witnessed Uncle Bob, Domenico Martini's fuckhead Uncle, now we have witnessed Uncle Bob, Derek's replica Uncle and Adam's grandturd. As for Derek's Aunty Caryn, she had none of the warmth and grace that Domenico's Aunt Carmela displayed. "I'm sorry, Cindy. We just can't. We have the next three months travel all booked and deposits paid. I told Janice not to marry that bum, but she didn't listen." I could almost bet that if their daughter Janice had ever sought refuge with them for her and the children to get away from the "bum" she married, the answer would have been no. It would likely have clashed with a fund raising dinner for the NRA, Moms For Liberty or the Ohio Republicans that Cuntryn and Bob had to attend. Hopefully their three months travel will result in a fatal dose of food poisoning, capture and slaying by pirates, kidnapping and subsequent execution by a terrorist organisation because no one "has the time" to pay the ransom, or sheer misery which continues when they return to Ohio. Whatever the outcome, Derek must get them to waive their rights as grandparents to Adam before they leave. Riveting chapter @Lee Wilson, the highlight of which was Derek clocking Uncle Bob. I too look forward to the torment of Aloysius by the newly married Jeremy and his "bride" Dereketta. Fuck you Arseholesius.

In Sydney, Australia, $450,000.00 would not be sufficient for you to purchase a residential property anywhere, not even a 1 bedroom in the least expensive suburbs. My 1 bedroom apartment, which has no parking space, and needs renovating even to sell, is likely worth about $700,000.00, although it is in the inner-city. You are still setting the high standard of entertaining story telling with this story @Lee Wilson. I think this story, more than any other of yours I have read, is the most diverse, bizarre in fact (and this is a compliment). I am just wondering when you might go back to the future and the aliens from Proxima Centauri b make an appearance. Perhaps the juvenile Centaurians could feast on Aloysius, Sam Springs and what is left of his gang, for starters. A quick trip to DC could perhaps be arranged too.

Given Aloysius' incredible stupidity or is it extraordinary arrogance, how did he manage accumulate wealth. I assume if he is IV he likely inherited his wealth. The reunion of Jeremy with his brothers were touching moments. They are united in their disgust (at a minimum) with their "father". The song below from 1985 is by a short-lived Aussie band whom I quite admired. I saw them live once and they were very good. The song title is in recognition of Aloysius' arrival at court.

I am very pleasantly surprised you know of More, More, More @Lee Wilson. A "classic" disco song, loathed by many serious "rock" critics because of its simplistic and repetitive lyrics, annoyingly catchy beat, and the fact that it was sung by a woman who was better known up until then as a porn star.

They also wrote, produced and played on Sister Sledge's titanic hits He's The Greatest Dancer and We Are Family (as well as their parent album), wrote and played on Diana Ross' smash hits Upside Down and I'm Coming Out (and the parent Diana album), and co-wrote, co-produced and played on Deborah Harry's wonderful solo debut Koo Koo. Apart from Jeremy's tantrum at the beginning of the chapter and his recount of his eviction from 'Burlington Manor' and its immediate aftermath, the rest of the chapter had a sense of whimsy, a playfulness with kissing and an invitation to cohabit. For some reason this song popped into my head, and not just because I am a cat lover and Cure fan, although both probably have a lot to do with it: I am afraid to say @drsawzall and @Lee WilsonI am somewhat ignorant when it comes to great guitar instrumentals and those who are considered great guitarists. I know Eric Clapton is considered a great guitarist and whilst I like some of his solo work (Lay Down Sally, I Shot The Sheriff), my dislike of him as a person negates any admiration I have for him. I agree with you Lee in that I think Brian May is a very good guitarist, but I predictably admire him more for his animal rights stance and agitation than anything else. I can see why Jimi Hendrix is so admired although I don't like his music. I thought Jeff Beck was a very good guitarist as well as Ernie Isley, Carlos Alomar, Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards.

I was never much of a fan of Kingswood Country but Kath and Kim was very funny. Some of the stereotypes I have exaggerated are awfully close to the truth @Paladin, or at least have quite an unhealthy dose of the characteristics I listed.
