I just wonder. It is generally adored as an expression of heritage and Victorian ingenuity. It is quite prominent in the landscape., isn't it? Its a bridge... a bloody long one, but a bridge Yes, that is a rather drastic example of a wind farm. While it has its place, something like that would never be allowed close to anyone. That's my first question when people object to infrastructure projects.

Yep, that's it. It has its beauty, don't get me wrong. I just wonder how people can call this beautiful and then object to windmills.

Thank you! Yes, I doubt I would change either. Maybe with time.

Thank you? Although, I am sorry for your nails... True, but let my try explaining the British mentality: North of London is a city called Welwyn Garden City though which the main train line north goes. In that city is a broad valley that is bridged by a big, monstrous train bridge (called a viaduct strangely enough). Everyone "loves and adores" that Victorian age building which cuts prominently across the valley. But if somebody suggests to put some wind mills somewhere, everyone will be up in arms because windmills "destroy the landscape". Go figure. That's the mentality Jamie objects to.

They can blame women like the Catholics do. It's all Eva's fault!

Thank you! Jamie will need RMW and vice versa.
  11. lawfulneutralmage
Yes, RMW is not "all the evil conservative". Sometimes, there are people required who keep track of the bigger picture. Jamie would probably get bogged down in "details".

Thank you! Sorry, a week to wait. I see that it came across, thx! For a political bargain. But honestly, my impression of the British conservatives was exactly that: bring the country back to the Victorian age.

Because I’d only worked in shift patterns, I’d never developed the proverbial hatred for Monday mornings. Today, though, I felt it nonetheless. I was up early, took a cold wash, and got dressed to have my breakfast as one of the first guests to do so. Politician wasn’t a job I’d ever consider doing. By quarter to eight, I went to pick up Morris-Walker. His day started with an appointment during breakfast. His guests were three young, local politicians. I wondered why one would hold a meetin
