Your description of a hangover from hell is enough to remind us all to be good, responsible grown-ups tonight. Have to admit when he met his leprechaun I was thinking, “ this dude is too drunk to tell a leprechaun from a random dude in a green hat.” Maybe I’m right and maybe it doesn’t matter. Sounds like he had no regrets 😂

P.S. — never have I ever thought I’d see “in-betweenie” representation in a story. I’ve got one of those and don’t know anyone else who does. As a youngster I thought it was weird but the older I get the more I’m feeling myself. When I got to that part I was like “fuck yeah in-betweenies are hot!” P.P.S —

I really sympathize with Jay — he’s got the patience of Job when it comes to Loren and there are lots of guys who would be easier. But then you write things like this: My head is buried in my arms when the doorbell rings. I straighten myself up. Deep breathing does shit for my nerves but I take a few anyway before I open the door. He was terrified because he asked his boyfriend of several months to snuggle. Poor Loren! I think Jay is able to see better than anyone else that the real Loren has lots of potential and lots of trauma, and he’s the only person in the world able to heal some of that. Heck, he’s the only person with enough interest and patience to try to get to know the real Loe. There were some many good little tidbits in this chapter. You’re the best!

Superb! I actually felt like for the first time Jay really threw Loe a bone by not only kissing him, but full-on horny-teenagers-making-out-after-school MAKING OUT. It’s a good reminder that Jay might be taking it slow, but it’s not easy for him either. I also love that Loe is learning how to communicate and date. It’s clear it’s not easy but he’s maturing and deep down I think he likes it. I do wonder what is behind his insecurities and fears…

just make sure you’re livin’ your best life. Oh Loe... this chapter made it so clear that everyone around him can see he's not living his best life, but he's only just starting to realize it. He seems so afraid of letting himself be happy, it's good to see him taking steps to get closer to Jay.

Exactly what I was going to say! Anyone else starting to get vibes that Essell and Bouncer may have comparable intelligence? 😂 Goofy and Pluto are both dogs even though one of them is a pet. just saying…

It’s Monday, and I have to drag my ass to work and sit through a 90 minute meeting that’s just upper management bullshit, and all my work besties are away at a conference so I can’t even enjoy snarking through the whole thing. Ugh. But it’s also MONDAY WHEN A NEW LOELIFE CHAPTER GETS POSTED. Thanks for making this sucky Monday start off in a good way for me. Your writing is so entertaining. It’s a masterclass in building tension, adorable dialogue, characterization, the whole nine yards.

Fancypants over here gets all the seasons in one month, meanwhile I live in a place that's pretty much one season all year round and always in a drought. Send rain.... I feel less guilty spending all day reading inside in inclement weather!

Interesting! I feel like Essell is coming into his own and realizing he holds some real power due to his bond with Garjah. That’s refreshing and I hope his confidence keeps growing as he navigates his parents and the rest of the politicos.

Mom’s mad Essell is backing out of his “obligation” to Sonez’s ship and isn’t following the path laid out for him. But she didn’t seem to care that Sonez never even reported Essell missing for what… like… several weeks or months?! This woman… something ain’t right with her. I’m very curious to find out what’s going on there and to see if Captain Shady will show back up now that Essell has been found.

What a fun story this has been! I know it’s not quite finished but thank you so much for writing and sharing it. It’s no small thing to accomplish and I look forward to following your stories in the future!

Awww cute! Never expected Ifigia to be revealed to earth so openly, but it does make for a nice happily ever after where nobody has to choose to leave their own world forever. Now they can visit back and forth!
