Something tells me that Stef and Fab will have some connection, possible a cousin of his mothers family and before that is uncovered, Fab will have time with Brad and Jake, unless our author decides to make it that Jake catches Brad fending off the Frenchmen and misconstrue the scene...

I do wonder about Mo, without trying to raise a sensitive topic, as a Muslim, (he like Christians) can be from an easy going branch, think Lebanese Muslim living in peace and Afghanistan Muslims totally different. Is he a product of his upbringing that he is trying to discard? Drinking alcohol is Haram and being gay is totally out. I think @Danners has it right, he might be fighting himself inside and his words are the edges of his own trouble mind

I do smile to myself that we all refer to Kenji " Business Business ". I still think its Yakuza / Gokudo business but hopefully the legitimate side of things, the tattoo sleeves and back are all signs of membership in criminal activities in an older Japan, not sure how much it is in modern Japan.

We all know how Mr Arbour thinks. I give it 2 chapters before Jeremy misses a dose and goes haywire. Will wont care but as part of his (Jeremy) therapy a meaningful apology will need to be said. More drama guaranteed.

I did wonder if the family had Yakuza connections as Kenji never shows his tattoos in public, always covered. Also, are they perhaps part of the Emperors household, fathers position requiring protection hence the bodyguards? I do love the dry humour, when River adds at the end "dashingly handsome " to the original statement, I thought oh! Could be me speaking there!!!

Due to the delay between chapters I went back and read from the beginning, loving this story and the insight into your world and characters. Poor Emmett and as an empath having to deal with the sudden death will take a toll, as for Finley, what a shit lifetime so far you have revealed to us. Hopefully you will resolve this issue and let us hope they can get together and you dont do a Charles Dickens and leave them like Miss Haversham.... forlorn and alone. "Make Haste"! Dear Author..hahaha

I so agree, something very scary lurking behind the careful facades. We already had intimated that the father is physically violent and I suspect psychological harm in the family as well. Brilliant storytelling.

I personally don't think Will is going to sleep with any of them, but will flirt with them all except "Porter" ( job description if ever). I am with Will 100% about being off the distribution list, having done same in my own family dramas. Welcome back Wade and Matt, was a lovely intro, but I think Wades family name will ring a few bells for a few of his room mates based on the English and Congressional relationships. Wonder if Porters family know Wades mother through some nefarious dealings... just plotting...

I so laughted at the King Kong moment and again at the billboard idea. Kris will be able to make amends when he finds out what happened and the good Dr Lawanda Jones gets him a visiting pass. School still hasn't started! Hahaha
