    EPISODE 8: H.E.L.P.

Brady is the best.. but you already know that 😏
  2. For the first time in a very long time, I had to look up a word... Kohlirabi. German turnip or turnip cabbage. All the other ingredients I knew, but still didn't want to taste it.. but seriously loving the interplay and the intrigue underway.

    Chapter 13

Love the story @Al Norris, even if the protagonist is underage!

    EPISODE 2: SOMEDAY

I can remember my mother's look when I bought home a note about an upcoming school trip. I am the 7th child of 9 whose parents were so poor that meat was a luxury, luckily for the orchards and veggie garden. I went to the school trip, but I was haunted by knowing how much it cost to send me, years later I learnt that my teacher had personally subsidised me half the cost. Children can be very observant

    Chapter Seven

That arm is going to be trouble, Nathan/ Whitter should have spoken up when the pain returned and described in better detail the creature that bit him to the healer. Interesting that the two men are still sharing a room and a bed with no comment from anyone else in the building. We know Leah knows as she bought breakfast in bed and spare rooms abound. Cormac may have a knack in seeing a person's deceit, and might be a useful addition to the business.

    Welcome Home

I will be interested in the conversation about flying to California, does Kris know about the jets the family have? Is he expecting to fly business class perhaps. The legal issues in German will be interesting, so much so that Jake is quite invested. I have been in Brads position about open relationships, took me years to recover my self esteem, and like Claire, discovering the affair after the fact is unpleasant.

    Chapter 7

Like @Summerabbacat, I live in Australia (Sydney) and I am pleased with the world wide reach of this story and how we individually react to various parts. Our American friends are bought up in a gun culture and the only other country that I know of with similar levels of gun ownership is Finland. For the rest of us its a way of understanding that portion of the USA culture. I am definitely going to try that recipe, my partner loves Gorgonzola (i do a shortcrust pastry, caramelised red onion, Gorgonzola with mascapone baked in pie cases).

    Chapter 6

As a non American, I am (still) startled by how easy the talk of guns are in these stories on GA. Here in Australia only the police have guns, gun ownership is heavily restricted and not allowed to be stored in the home, only locked in gun clubs - I can only speak for my State. In New Zealand, the standard police don't carry guns at all. They rarely have gun homicide

    Chapter 1

You need to look up Don Dunstan pink shorts, he was the state Premier in 1972, he wore them on the steps of parliament to show acceptance of diversity, Adelaide never looked back, in part in fear of what it might see!! Haha 😄

    Chapter 1

Australian schools are quite different, in part because our political leaders are centralist as voting is compulsory. Middle of the road and a multicultural society. Gender diversity is taught and religion plays little or no part in politics or education, not saying that its perfect, but such bullying leads to arrests ( at age 14 you are responsible for your actions). Just this week a city councillor in our state was pilloried by the State Premier and government due to an attempt to ban a book on same sex parents from a city library. State funding was threatened to be taken unless the decision was rescinded - which it was within the week. Made national headlines about what a joke the politician was for attempting to make waves over a small issue. Even the Federal government was annoyed, our foreign minister (who is a lesbian) threw her 2 cents at the idiot.

    Prologue

This prologue resonated with me immediately and I have too say that I recognised some of the situations from my own past. Excellent beginning and I’ve made sure to follow the story. I found this by following crumbs from another reader, so.. always read comments!!

    Chapter Six

Poor Tarn, as I said last chapter, his lack of tact lead to his demise. Cormac could be an interesting addition to the guildhall I suspect, and nothing yet on the very perceptive beggar...

    Sesso a tre

I am concerned for Calvert, he will be mighty disappointed and displeased with George for his drunken indiscretion. George is always so keen to protect his honour and dignity and constantly holds others to a high standard. I can only think that this episode is going to be a pivotal point for the story ahead as it is so out of character for our hero to be so indiscreet! On board the ship! What the heck is going on here @Mark Arbour!!!

    Chapter Five

I don't know if it was a close shave with Tarn or if it will come back to haunt them.I did wonder when Brohm left if he was going to catch up with Tarn and do away with him to stop any potential issue's. The Senator dinner was just as expected, other than the empty table, very poor manners and I would have thought place settings in place. Most enjoyable chapter!
  15. Proper spiders, Huntsman and the Bird eating spiders

    Chapter Four

I suspect that the beggar is a truth seeker, and because of this he is shunned, after all, who wants to constantly only hear the truth? I like the idea of redemption via helping Tarn to find hope. The two hero make a lovely couple and are beautifully written.

    Chapter 3

@Arch Hunter, I was just about to ask if everything was OK, 3 loong weeks without an update on those pesky boys ( the twins I mean hahaha)
  18. Well deserved! I have read all your stories and then dreamed about them, a sign of a author
  19. Just a thing, in New Zealand slang, calling someone an "egg" means that they are brainless, but I get your meaning 😉 😀 😜

    Encounters 1

2024, still, I know that its a long term hold @gabz2000, but one can hope for an ending to what appears to be a delicate and delicious saga.

    Chapter Three

Morgana had told them them they themselves were to never mention the truth of their change of appearance from the previous book. I suspect that the so called beggar will be an important character in the next chapter!
  22. Ah, the joy of a world wide audience, its midday Monday here in the east coast of Australia.. And it no one going to mention the horror of a broccoli casserole?!? 🥦🤢🤮

    Chapter Two

Lovely leap forward, surprised that the trip was done so quickly but also keen to see if they are accepted into the Guild and the difficulties running a business ( which is what they will be doing!) Against the swashbuckling team that they are, they will have to get a bookkeeper and store manager perhaps?
  24. Gloves on and to your corners, 3 rounds!!! Ding, ding, ding... your fans are so engaging! ( I belong here so much)
  25. And.. while I think about, Elizabeth Danfield would be perfect for another appearance, this time in Jeremy's life just to throw another grenade
