She's lucky to have people giving honest advice, it had not occurred to me that they might need to fight amongst the excitement of the Falcon's arrival!

I feel like I have accidentally left the path and I am now falling down a hill, arms windmilling in the air, not sure if I will fall over or come to a halt! Most definitely confused but will persever. 😀

Calvert might be lucky and have a certain Charles FitzRoy lend a hand about now with his amorous princess and then of course... a young Thomas Villiers!! Much excitement eh @Mark Arbour??? (Hoping)

Can I just say, your self doubts are common to all writers, but you have created an amazing place from your own head and you are sharing it with us which is a marvellous gift 🎁. I wrote for a few magazines in the past and having doubts if people would like what I wrote always played on my mind. Its your universe that you have created and we are all thankful that you have kindly decided to share with us. Throw the doubts outside and run full steam ahead!. We are all breathlessly awaiting the next instalment. ❤️

Yes... think Netfix... Bridgerton and its ilk! Actually, scratch that, the men yes, the women on their position, never!

Perhaps the Duke of Clarence will make another appearance and ask that Calvert be assigned to his household while recuperating, pushing Princess Amelia out of the picture, the older Duke takes precedence over the younger Princess as brother to the king as the Duke is higher in the rankings (Presecedence Act 1539) before any female offspring! Just speculation of course!

Wonderful work 👏 👌. Did not guess about the turning and I suspect that it might just throw Theodore off kilter. The problem is.. how safe is it to remain while Dave recovers?

Has anyone heard from @PrivateTim?? It's not like him to be MIA for so long... hes normally quick with a riposte!

Yes, in Sydney, and the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is next Saturday night, 2nd March. Will be televised across the country on one of the national broadcasters live and ad free. Will certainly be having a drink 🍸 or 4 that night 🌙. Will check out your recommendation 😀

I saw that the chapter had arrived and that 4 comments posted quickly thereafter. I needed to reread the previous chapter for my bearings and was reminded of @Myr note regarding statistics (memo, that one has a sharp serrated tongue and be careful not to be targeted for sloppy thinking). @Mark Arbour, the stage is slowly being set, how long til the explosive action I wonder. Also wonder how you keep two series on the go simultaneously!!!

I have been to 2 summer Olympics, EVERYTHING can and does go wrong. I am sure @Mark Arbour has everything in hand. Or not.. kidnapping, drunken escapades, car chases and the proverbial kitchen sink...hahaha

Do you have the time to reread this with your own readers breathing heavily down your neak like a salivating vampire 🧛♂️ 🤔 hahaha, ( just kidding you 😆)

I love both the JJ chapters and the vitriol from all the haters. Makes my day far more interesting, and I should add that I have a sister who is the female equivalent of JJ. Her forte is apartment decorating, it is exquisite, her taste in husbands.. not so much, even by number 4...

I feel like I have been away and returned to the warm embrace of the extended family. I was also surprised (as an Australian) that our esteemed author was so knowledgeable about Ian Thorpe and I have trust that should he reappear in this book it will be with great respect. I also confess to having the hots for the man and wondered if his huge size was proportional...

Can I recommend the song by Dami Im called "Sound of Silence " perfect for the ending of your story. You can also find it on YouTube when it was sung at the Eurovison song contest

Chapter Twelve: Labirinthoset
Darryl62 commented on drown's story chapter in Chapter Twelve: Labirinthoset
Well .. my first reaction was " What the actual Fu*k!". Followed by a rereading, I think others have said it, Mark is not gone, merely in the process of becoming untwisted, and will be reconstituted into 2 beings, but sharing the same consciousness. What a devious little igelchen you are sweetie liebling, looking so cute and harmless... yet full of sharp surprises (a compliment to be sure 🤔 😅 🙂)- 62 comments

I was just browsing the Premium stories and this caught my eye, nothing like I expected, each chapter went to a totally unexpected place! Most intriguing story and highly recommended

I'll just quote this and explain why starting here is a disservice to the author and the saga.. Granger had been enjoying the Lakes, spending time meeting the tenants he had inherited from his aunt, Lady Kendal, and making sure his estates were being managed to his satisfaction. He’d found, to his pleasant surprise, that they were indeed in good shape, and that had allowed him to spend more time familiarizing himself with the beautiful countryside. Lady Kendal had left her house on Lake Windermere to Granger’s middle brother, Bertie, but since Bertie was in India, Granger opted to make use of it. It had been a good decision, because he had been able to reassure the staff that their jobs were secure, and set up arrangements to ensure they were paid. From previous stories, this reminds us of the most snarkiest of Aunts, a brother who was dealing in Drugs, a shipwreck with cannibals and sharks, death. Also a long lost grandfather and underhanded family shenanigans that involved the king's interests! Oh, and lets us not forget the near Hanging, the baths and of the infamous Duke of Clarance.. I think you will love it and be as captivated as the rest of us. Xx

All his Britannic Majesty officers would have attempted to escape as a matter of course unless they had sworn an oath not to.

I suspect that his Majesty will embellish the story no end leading to much embarrassment to George. Luckily for Calvert that his reputation will be enhanced by his telling of his escape directly to the Royal family. Perhaps even a knighthood!?

Tallyrand will want a full price for helping Calvert and a surcharge for the inconvenience! Caroline has not yet had absolution for her misdeeds and she is still untrustworthy - viper that she is. Pleased to see that George looked out for Berties Windermere staff, a minor detail that reinforces his honour
