Chapter 2 Accomplice (4/4)
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 2 Accomplice (4/4)
I am constantly reminded that many people in Africa, South America, pacific and Asia have full concept of slavery having been the ones in chains. My own ancestors were transported to Australia for attempting to be free of the slavery of serfdom in Ireland -
Chapter 2 Accomplice (4/4)
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 2 Accomplice (4/4)
The slaves in the south of America also had a "rail road ", and in Australia they had "blackbirding" with the same attempts to escape. -
Chapter 2 Accomplice (1/4)
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 2 Accomplice (1/4)
I am reminded of events in Europe past where certain people were designated with numbers as well. Names stolen from them. Very moving description of Adams final moments as always, to me masterful writing -
I reread the ENTIRE series, loving it 😍, also, dont think the Dr. Who references were not noted, (I imagine Alex Kinston as Prof. River Song as a young Lady Sarah @Justin4Fun

I live opposite Sydney Park in Erskineville, Newtown literally around the corner 😅. Neighbours!

I suspect Ninja is going to have some explaining, along with the others when Jake learns of the nightclub scene. Well done with the meeting for Brad, message across without his usual ego on show. Jeremy chapter really, and it was a good one, lots of redeeming actions and thoughts. Excellent work 👏 👍 👌 🙌 ( is three in a week the new normal?)

Someone knows who the person is ... "playful poke at at one of my favourite readers," At least I suspect that the person has a phobia about snakes 🐍 🤷

Proper Aussie accent, nothing like the rest of Australia 🇦🇺, called a "bogan" accent. The reporters is really bunging it on
-
And back to the story, what of Travis stalker? Where is the security? What happened to the professional that Jake put in place?
-
For me, Will calling Jake was so perfect, after all it was about his brother and calling Brad first would have been just wrong. I do admit that I had forgotten the family connection as there is so much to remember. As you know @Mark Arbour, you're a genius 👏 🙌 😉 👌 😀

Chapter 5 The Pale Blue Dot
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 5 The Pale Blue Dot
Actually, it was drinking the coffee with his hands behind his back. Everything else was perfectly clear to this avid Star Trek fan. -
Chapter 5 The Pale Blue Dot
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 5 The Pale Blue Dot
@RedMoon, there is a paragraph where the admiral is in a lift with his arms behind his back reading the wall monitors while simultaneously drinking his mug of coffee. Just doesn't scan correctly to me. Otherwise wow. Total novel as one chapter. Interesting emotions 🤔 😕 😅 much to think about... -
Halloween and Travis’s Horror
Darryl62 commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Halloween and Travis’s Horror
Lovely history lesson, Bellona was just brilliant, waiting for Stef to be bought into the fold for Travis and then off to Hollywood ! Fireworks 🎆 🎇 🧨- 32 comments

Your skyhook reminded me of Arthur Clarke and his story of about 50 or 60 years ago, "Childhoods End", I can recommend it @RedMoon and others. Yet another beautiful fragment.

A most intriguing story written by a person whose Taiwanese identity is well hidden. Lovely to have a vastly different non anglocentric viewpoint. Stories that are thrilling and you can be sure of your engagement with the characters. A sense of melancholy but balanced by humour and honesty. A rich tapestry that I recommend. While it is set in a very different universe and with non human characters, you will recognise and appreciate the love that has been created. I wish I had a tail and ears that I could use like these people do. Prepare with an open mind and take a plunge.

Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.5 - FIN
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.5 - FIN
I feel like I have been very greedy at the most splendid buffet. What a delight to be present for. Each night at midnight in my time zone, a new chapter would drop. I would devour it and then sleep. Love ❤ this and will read again but this time all in one day. Your a writer with energy and passion, what a world you have created for us to enjoy, heartfelt thanks 😊 ❤ -
The more I read of your stories, the clearer the prologue becomes. Can't wait to meet the Muntjac!

A quick recipe, slice kiwifruit and using toothpick stick to lamb roast, half way remove fruit, cool, coat hand with oil, stick dried herbs to lamb so crust forms, cook. No fat, slightly tangy Kiwifruit dissolve fat, cook on rack

Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.3
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.3
I think Master Grey Dawn is Richters aunt, and while Qana is his father, Breeze is his mother? Just speculating.. Looking forward to lessons both formal and informal, how do the other wolf factions respond to our hero narrator?!? -
Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.2
Darryl62 commented on RedMoon's story chapter in Chapter 10 - Cirrus clouds 10.2
Both Masters have shown us their true colours, power and status above all. The lesson about Sol was noteworthy allowing us to see the bigger picture but it was unreasonable to expect Richter to choose the Herbivores when he knew next to nothing about them and their beliefs. Cant wait for the next two Masters who we are led to believe are uninterested in politics. Game On!!! -
The Countess von Lieven
Darryl62 commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in The Countess von Lieven
I feel that Caroline has momentarily forgotten the real reason why they are in Paris. Grangers reputation for the ladies will be enhanced by the tryst with the Countess. I do not doubt that she and her husband (Earl like the English or Count like the continent?) might just end up becoming his Imperial Majesty representative to the Court of St.James... and bring the child to England. Master @Mark Arbour will no doubt let us know. Hopefully not a near 2 month hiatus between now and the next chapter... 😬- 32 comments

This is an excellent suggestion 👌

Ah, depth to the conversation and a warning to be alert. Canadian made the same observations about awareness and not everything is as it seems.

We were surrounded by sheep farms (New Zealand 🇳🇿) and my parents would swap fruit and vegetables for meat. I was about 8 when I put together the young lambs and Calves into the plate. Huge vegetables garden but very healthy living. Was about 9 when I had bought icecream not home made
