................. Gotta say that was a strange turn of events for a chapter, not surprising of the actions of Alex and his brother though! The 'kidnapping' thing, I'm not sure what Alexis really thinking here and yes it could be ominous for Robbie. Although it could be a terrible mistake for Alex, one keeping Robbie, two having a whole bunch of drugs in the house, three Sue's check list is getting short and Robbie said he was at a 'friends' house that will shorten up the net very soon, Possibly that very afternoon, then there is Jake the town's asshole to contend with! Interesting change in direction! Thanks for the chapter!

..................I almost went to post this earlier bur got busy, so glad someone else posted it, I agree the non-verbal low music background opened up the heartfelt angst of this short film. The scenario was well placed and somewhat predictable was very worthy of an accolade from the film industry. The title was perfect, I'm sure everyone who sees this will instantly remember there first crush. (I know I did).

...........Well it looks like my view on Dustin was spot on, but his pain is so deep and occurred over such a long period of time, it is going to take a long time for Dustin to heal if ever! I'm sure that the end of a broomstick was not the only thing put up in Dustin's ass by his father, but the last time almost killed him. Sometimes Billy looks like the outsider looking in while the 'others' keep reading the script designed years ago in this small town filled with its secrets. Joey, and Brett have a long hidden history together, more secrets closeted. As screwed up as Brett is, Billy seems oblivious to the undermining circumstances in this town, ! mean crap he let Dustin in the house!

...........I agree an excellent chapter, sometimes even a quarterback sofa approach of a novice seems to get it right. Teddy has been watching Ryder enough to grasp Ryder's fears and was just responsive enough to get through to him and not overwhelm Ryder.

...............Well that was a surprise return to Alex's place, although in hindsight didn't Robbie once tell Sue he went over there? I would think Don and Sue are actively scratching off places Alex could be. Nathan will be informed pretty soon, somehow I think by Nicola because Daniel is being as much as a prick as Don. Nathan is sooooo going to go off on Daniel, after getting in line behind Nicola and Sue, that cuss jar may be filled up before Robbie returns. So Alex has his good side too huh! Great chapter!

................Yea!!! Big brother is a real take charge kinda guy. And it is nice that he can relax with his mom and brothers outside the business, which his mother nearly muddled up for them during the charter. Nice story, looking forward to more.

..........With good reason, writing in the main fears of Billy with resolutions between his father and he was a main sticking point of Billy's. As I thought his mom 'knows' but denial always looks elsewhere but the truth in dealing with matters they don't want to face. That was a big step that Billy and his dad took, it certainly lifted a great weight off off of his shoulders, and his knowing his mothers denying awareness is also a plus. Joey is screwed trying out his blackmail scheme if he thought for a moment Billy would fall for it. Great chapter!! (Side note, funny how things come back at you, I was visiting SF last week after a doctors appointment in Palo Alto and had a flashback....this year is the 50th anniversary of the summer of love in Haight Ashbury, as I looked at the street sign I realized that I was here exactly 50 years ago at this very intersection while visiting my Uncle when I was 14 years old (1967), it was a very surprising flashback!!!)

Trouble ahead, but still need to know the trouble behind.........nice beginning of a story!

.....Good chapter, finally they are both getting in sync with each other, well some say that opposites attract but these two are polar opposites. With one maybe even being bi-polar. I'm disappointed with Mike in this chapter, I thought he was better then that. Great Chapter!

...........Actually, hmmmm no! I'm not surprised somewhere in the recess of Dustin's mind he sees a father that is all a fiction. in his denial his father is a good man, he ignores reality and lets his fantasy family play in his head. To uphold this illusion, he supports it through sex and drugs, a mindless numbness not facing the truth. sadly, his f'ing mother ignored him and the reality of the situation for way to long. And although I'm a bit surprised that Brett took notice of Dustin considering the clash of the two, I'm even more amazed he spoke up, of the truthiness of Dustin's family to the mother. OKAY, riveting chapter as you made a turn left I did NOT expect back to Dustin. I had thought the chapter was going to focus on Joey especially after Billy's talk with Joey's dad. Looking forward for more.

Hmm, too close of a call for Brett and Billy, I agree I think just about everyone knows of Billy and Brett, even if Billy's mom is in denial, I don't know what possessed Billy's mom for her to join 'that' church. Joey's antics are going to catch up to him, because he is a stupid prick, and he is bound to get caught doing something stupid. I hope can really work some magic on Dustin, who is another train wreck just waiting to happen! Great chapter, loved the panic scene in the bedroom!!

...........It's a wonder that Billy didn't throw Joey's pregnant girl mews and planned abortion at the good Pastor and his mother! But I'm sure karma will catch up the "choirboy" of the church. Dustin is a real mess, and it seems his family life is scary too, I'm beginning to think although Billy is the main character, Dustin will soon emerge a close second. Pastor Carl gives me bad vibes too, can't wait for Anton's mom discovers the 'truth' about her pastor. Great chapter!

...............Hummm, I liked the version of the "Prince and the Pauper" it intrigued me enough to read the entire story of yours. I remember reading and seeing the original film and being fascinated by the concept, this script was very entertaining, yet seemingly left a flat ending. Unfulfilled, that is with some missing resolution's I'm sorry to say. Yet perhaps to revolve more would have been redundant. I'm always a stickler in restitution and redemption. Clearly the 'Adams' family name should not be muddled, yet they should have paid dearly for the crime of kidnapping and assault with a weapon on a minor, again perhaps the changing of money played well here, Great story !!.

...........Meh!! I fuc###g hate religious zealots, and with good cause, I have refuted every claim from the man written book on the few passages on homosexuality with different faiths. I have argued and won with my Rabbi on the story of David and Jonathon in the book of Saul, he could not deny the relationship of the two as portrayed in the Torah as anything other then a romantic relationship either. Faith is fleeting, it is waiting for Santa to descend through your chimney to deliver presents to children, and that is what we are.....children waiting for our 'Santa' to see if we have been good on our deathbed and deserve a present?

When I first started to read this story, I was really put off by the abusive relationship forming. And just when I thought it was passing, it comes back with the same type of abused spouse syndrome. This is truly screwed up!

.........Damn, interesting that Teddy's description by Mike poses a question if Teddy is playing around with Ryder's mind and when the going gets tough he dumps his 'project'. It seems Teddy's nonplus response holds a degree of truth of his past actions. Teddy needs to be aware really that this very scenario was already questioned by Ryder and Ryder's grandmother to him. Would explain Ryder's questioning of why he was still around, I think Teddy needs to be more forthcoming then just a shout out at a lacrosse game. Nice chapter reveling small rifts!

I'm pretty sure Jason did not have anything to do with the kidnapping, assault and rape of Aiden. Somebody who was at that party should know though, with Aiden suddenly missing a puzzled Jason would likely to look for Court and ask if she knew where he was. 10 hours is a long time to be missing and those guys had a lot of time beating him up, there is no way they should get away with this, besides I don't think Aiden could talk Court out of calling the police. Brutal chapter!
