................ I'm sure that Bridget is so self-centered she doesn't realize that her office is bugged and that Xavier is feeding intel to the others in the cartel. She is so wrapped up in herself over the tape and asset list that she doesn't realize the others in the cartel are watching her and the Australian news. She is digging her own grave and doesn't even know it, besides Xavier would be a perfect replacement for her chair!

...................I had a 'new' Captain once in the Marines before I transferred out, he was smallish in size and never passed up an opportunity to pass a mirror. I called it the Napoleonic complex, he resented anyone taller then himself, and it showed, I wonder to this day if he wasn't washed out eventually. He was a narcissistic person, self-imploded and full of himself, luckily I didn't have to be around him for very long maybe two months before I got shipped out.

.......................Moorcraft's next expose will be that he found the copies of the asset list, that is what Bridget is dreading and what will trigger her into a all in go out and kill Trevor mode. She will not have much interest in the Kookaburra after that, it is Trevor she will seek. Because if he has the asset list she believes he has the video as well. It would destroy her and the cartel if known about the tape. So far Trevor and Shane have kept quiet about the tape and the gold, but with the release of the asset list, Bridget can only conclude they also found the tape.

.............. Great chapter, loved the ambush by Fowler upon the power boat, the goat sure loves his fire extinguishers. I wonder how long the Kookaburra can remain hidden? It will remain a big story after the Sunday's edition comes out. It was a blessing in disguise that Bridget read the on-line version and halted the order until they were sure, now the kookaburra can stay hidden, the longer the better. The two guys on the powerboat have no idea they are going to be leading the police back to Greys favorite lair. One of the officers who had gone aboard in Melbourne – the one with some knowledge of forensics – had made impressions of the borrowed keys, and the copies had been cut from those. As a result, the fit was less than perfect, and had required a good deal of jiggling and forcing in Brisbane. Unfortunately I have forgotten in Melborne or how the keys got borrowed I'm guessing Martin and Fowler owe Trevor a new zodiac.

................... Amen as I count my grey hairs! This has been one hell of a ride of a story, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Funny, I thought a lot of readers wanted the goat to expand on relationships which the goat obliged in doing, then complained it was dragging down the story!!! I have a thought, after the boys and their mom escape the latest attempt on their lives. What if the US Navy plucks their boat aboard their ship for the ride thru the canal! That would certainly detour Bridget's small army's plans for their destruction, that would also alert the cartel that the US Navy is involved in her plans to finish off Trevor. Would that much scrutiny be worth it to them? I see Bridget's plans crumbling before her and the finale being a showdown between her and Trevor. My muse!

.................. Not sure if Thomas is str8, gay or bi. The former would indicate an abused child whose father has thrown in all his hate and used it against his son. Thomas may be just looking for attention and affection, if it was the latter then Thomas broke down his defenses with Kyle and Jacob and confessed and hugged them both. He is a very scared closet case that is willing to get in trouble at school to gain his fathers approval or avoid punishment. What troubles me is the 'silence of abuse' attitude when known by others, in truth Kyle or Jacob should have either convinced Thomas to report the crime or report it themselves. I know high school culture, (I really do remember it) not to snitch. Nice to see another chapter...................now don't wait so long to deliver another one!!

........... I agree what a tease you were, here I thought I had an extra long chapter then found out that you just posted it 3 times! Been a long time coming too! Mr. Templeton has some evil agenda here, I don't like the sound of his new feed, something sounds fishy to me here. I'm sure Mrs. Templeton has figured out Billy and David a long time ago, and Mr. Templeton may have had an inkling early on with Billy before David's arrival. The showdown will be between the boys and the father is coming soon, 'Daddy' will not hold up well from either of these two. I cannot see them lasting another year before this happens. So you are still holding mysteries about the hidden paperwork of Billy's mother, I can quandary a guess that she owns the ranch and is willing to sell it, to protect her son, she is definitely shoring up for something. Anyways glad to see another chapter (finally) Benji

.......... Nick brought up a good point about epoxy, and I wonder if our nervous diver did a through job? Or did he do a half-ass on just to get the hell out of there, and what if the entire bomb becomes loose and falls away; “A big one. Being in croc-infested waters at night is bloody bonkers. I was expecting to be attacked every fucking second.” I had to get creative due to only having access underwater this time. We molded the explosive into two long narrow blisters atop a sheet of waterproof flexboard, which had some netting loosely stapled to it. The explosive we used is much like modeling clay so it was easy to form, and it’ll hold its shape. The netting in it makes sure it stays put. The diver stuck the flexboard side on with epoxy, right up from each keel. Twenty-five kilos of high explosive for each hull. I wonder if with the poorly placed bomb and the speed of the cat, if it all could come loose, wouldn't it be a riot if it was able to float and was beside the powerboat when the guy pulls the trigger, and the last thing he sees is it starboard side his boat?

................... I see a 'sticky wicket' moment as the Brits are fond of saying. Will Trevor realize they are being followed? will he order a turn from the boats and the assassin follow his boat instead of the Kookaburra. That 30-06 can do some major damage to a boat, clearly this is a certified cliffhanger as the Kookaburra is in danger of being imploded. The careful eye, the reporter has shot photos of both boats and will reveal the the switch. Grey has fucked up the mission, will Bridget be pleased with him? Her main target is now away, and I would guess Fowler knows something could be on the boat. Realizing the new danger, Fowler will tell the boys to leave the area and provide an escort. I now muse the idea of traversing the panama canal, or would Trevor decide to take the southern route around south America? Then again could a helicopter light the Aries/Atlantis aboard a US naval ship?

..................Great chapter goat! Okay, there were several hints.......... one Trevor's apparently unattended cat, two the locks needing lubricant, and three had the checked tracking test had gone a half hour earlier, Trevor would not been happy. It makes me wonder if they (Grey) can shut off the tracker at will, and was he tipped off of the test? Hmm, (Grundig?) That nosy reporter may force Trevor's departure faster then planned. Grey has all his ducks in a row, however Fowler is present and Trevor is soon to be armed, Grey can only get those explosives on board while out at sea, I remember Trevor being either lucky or a good shot. A bullet can do some major damage to a boat laden with explosives and gasoline. Again a great chapter!

.................Interesting, I'm going to try it, but my version of Maguire's Irish Cream (same stuff) 1/2 cup of rum 1/2 cup of Irish whiskey I can condensed milk half and half milk (until it reaches almost reaches the top of the blender) A spoonful or so of chocolate syrup. Blend for at least 1 minute, let stand. Now I used to give these away friends as x-mas gifts in baskets with other stuff, I would buy a couple of Groegers (SP?) beers through the year and wash out these bottles that had the attachable stoppers to them and fill them up refrigerate and give away. Sometimes I used less rum and a little more whiskey, depends on your taste. Edit to add Don't ever let my daughter find out I gave this old family recipe out, she threaten to de-ball me if I did
