  1. ..................... I'm a chat moderator and I'm sorry and embarrassed that I was not moderating on the time frame you spoke of. I would have spoken up immediately had I known, next time you see this happening e-mail me right away. I will respond in turn, this is not how the chat room is supposed to run. NOBODY should be dissed for the reasons you stated!
  2. ...............Welcome Alcarose! When his current story ends Circumnavigation, (BTW, I would have never learned to spell this word without CJ ) ends. I believe his next novel is a sequel to FTL.
  3. ................... From the cliff dwelling goat!!! Benji!!! It wouldn't be me killing off Lisa and Joel, it would be Bridget! Stop trying to blame me for things she does (or might do). Yeah right, first you are writing the saga, not to mention that then you shifted it into Trevor's lap After he sailed away from Florida. Now you try and blame Bridget for the writings!!! BTW, to clarify some of the above; Bridget already knew most of their route; that's why she has a reception planned for them in Panama (with explosives, rocket-propelled grenades, etc). So, in telling Gray that, they really gave away nothing. Hmmmm, wait a minute! We have Gray in position to strike with already laden explosives, and with two targets, the Kookaburra and the Atlantis. So that means YOU have decided unless the discovery is made sooner, Bridget plans to take them out near the Panama canal area, and not Australia. If so, then you have her paying Gray 1.5 million for what? Information and taking down the Kookaburra? Is she hedging her bet that the asset list will be discovered first? Because Lisa and Joel didn't know about the list, nor was it listed as one, per the Gonzalez conversation with Jim. Bridget must know that and just think of the two are just snooping around and happened to come across her little shop, while delivering flyers, she may even dismiss the whole thing and have them left alone. The fallacy in her logic I explained before. You may have given us the next chapter goat!!!
  4. .......................I had a feeling Gray was going to be Trev & Shane's driver, when the other car owner cussed at his unresponsive car trying to start, the missing distributor cap was a giveaway. Lisa and Joel are not the only ones with loose lips, thank G-D the DEA agent was the one that faxed the info to Gonzales, I had thought it a 50/50 chance, turned out I wasn't so far off. I wonder if Lisa and Joel are walking into a spiders lair in the A/C place, the delayed info to Gonzales may cost them their lives. I wouldn't put it past the goat to killing them off. Seems Trevor has no problem talking either, I really wonder if this is just a ploy and I think Gray bought everything they said. Has Gray thought of everything? What if the boys discover that the driver they hired did not arrive via a clerk at the dock? If I was the 'designated' driver I would called the dock and told them, that he had car trouble. This tidbit of information should reach Fowler's ears and cancel the boys planned itinerary, but then again we have an evil goat!! Then Bridget herself is not immune to talking with Xavier, she must realize that he is telling Jeef (I think that's the head guys name) everything she tells him. But in her minds eye, she is his equal, a dangerous assumption on her part, as good as Bridget is in what she does and plans, she laments about missing a certain talent her late husband had, and even the insight of Xavier. She had said it enough to make me think that she will not see what can happen to her. Great chapter CJ!! Looking forward to more. ( ...Hopefully this saga will end before I die! )
  5. .... Really a cruise ship!! Huh!
  6. Glad Joey is okay, we only assume that Jt's mother is dead here, most likely she is, but what if she is the murderer? I can see her being driven to madness by the husband. But then the question would be why attack JT? If it not the mother then who can it be? Could it be Mr. Brown from the McCray trial, he (McCray did say Mr. Brown would kill his family if he didn't get ten thousand dollars. JT is in deep shit, I only wonder what is going to save him? Great chapter, I do hope we don't have long gaps that require one to re-read the former chapter! LOL!!
  7. Sarah is 50/50 on what she will decide, if she actually goes to the site, maybe there will be a chance. I'm more worried about Jacob's state of mind and his recent outting. His mother's letter really has hit him hard, as seen by his actions, it looks like he is going to need a lot of TLC or therapy. Great chapter! Good to see one again!
  8. ...................A cruise ship!!!!
  9. ................Welcome, may your stay be pleasant here, a lot of good people and stories here!
  10. .................WAY long past due, but I don't see the goat doing it earlier, instead waiting til the end to do Bridget the justice she deserves (kinda of like Scar)!
  11. ................... The goat is running out of numbers so now he is using the alphabet. Got to admire the way Trevor can handle that cat, I'm sure the goat chose that bay because of the treacherous entry into the bay. What the hell is Joel and Lisa thinking? Or rather why are they not thinking? It is 50/50 chance that the fax went to either Bridget or Gonzales, however if the sender was a good guy he would probably have just called Gonzales. Perhaps a timely phone call from Trevor will warn them that Bridget is a cartel member, and for them to leave immediately. Otherwise this will not be good for Joel and Lisa. Great chapter, CJ!
  12. ................. 1 a.m. where is the frigging chapter???
  13. ...................... I agree his performance in 'The Green Mile' was more then worthy of the academy award he did not get. But it listed him as being 6'-4" I always thought he was taller or is Tom Hanks smaller then I thought?
  14. ................. Okay, just who the hell is this Zac Effron??
  15. ...................She used a kitchen rolling pin to kill Arnold, she killed him because she discovered he was going to divorce her and blackmail her into letting him take the lions share of their wealth. After Arnold's death, in his office, she discovered that he purchased items to make a concealed compartment, like the one they both had in place the Aries. She believed Arnold made another compartment and put in incriminating evidence against her and the cartel, the tape? I'm not sure how she suspected its existence, but as she has stated before, she had admired Arnold for his other abilities.
  16. ................I think no matter what Joel and Lisa do, Trevor is already target for death by Bridget, she wants the stain of Sanchez removed from her.
  17. .........................Then, she glanced at a clock, pausing only to calculate the effect of the fifteen-hours-ahead time difference before picking up a phone and dialing the now-familiar number. Bridget is telling us here that even the asset list is a condition for the demise of Trevor. I have no doubt in my mind that the 'now familiar number' is that of Greys. Bridget smiled. “Twenty of my best, armed and trained, along with a matching force from Vasquez, who will also be providing the explosives as well as the RPGs we would have for backup,” she said, with a nod towards Vasquez, before continuing. “Overkill, though better to have more than one needs than to run the risk of having too little. Bridget is moving forward with out the knowledge of the existence of the tape. Bridget leaned back in her chair, giving the man a steely stare. “I have anticipated that possibility, and if there is any doubt whatsoever, the answer is simplicity itself.” Pausing for effect, her eyes still locked on her questioner’s, Bridget eased her chair back, slowly standing up as the sound of its legs dragging across the rough old floor echoed in the expectant silence. “I shall destroy both.” Hmm, if she destroys the wrong one first, Trevor will be alerted and may sail to the coast of America instead of traversing the Panama canal, Bridget's 20 armed men could wind up on US soil and be in trouble. I so wish watererboarding was legal for terrorist, if it is good enough for our troops it is good enough for them. Nice chapter, my take on the pavement thing is simply Trevor's car being parked where it was!
  18. Nice Billy!!, you wait months to publish a chapter and then leave us with a cliffhanger! You are really evil! Benji (BTW, I'm the one that got you the award last time)
  19. ...........Get advice, either from your readers input, or your editor if you have one. The groundwork you laid in the beginning and the end need to mesh somehow in the middle. You cannot have 'Sam went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came back' in the middle of the story........and leave it as WTF? In other words you cannot box yourself into a scenario that you cannot explain yourself out of. My suggestion is to meld both the beginning and the end together and work your way into a middle back and forth that can satisfy you. Characters moods and actions can play a big part in transforming the middle of the story. My 2 cents!
  20. ........................No drugs in Trevor's car, maybe trace elements put there by George, in his attempt to frame Trevor, Joel, Lisa and snare Bridget into it. They would have not released the car to Joel had they found anything, nah I think it is just a wrap-up. After all Bridget already paid $6,500 for it, really no need to sell it again, unless Ben wants it.
  21. ................ I too am going to miss her, she was a genuine comedienne. Her flavor of self-depreciation was very funny, and I loved her Fang character, she was truly on of a kind!!
  22. ...................That was a surprise to see the chapter up early, praise thunderstorms!! Joel and Lisa are still using the guesthouse? Oh well, why not Bridget did give them the key. A problem I see is the upcoming visit to the Bahama's; “Yeah, I’m going to send you that list via e-mail. It’s probably useless because it’s over a decade old. The file will be password protected… I’ll use your ATM PIN for the password. Be real careful while you’re there, okay? Don’t do anything risky,” Trevor replied. There were two items in the Bahamas on Bridget’s asset list. One of them was still under her control – for a very specific reason. Hopefully, Gonzales will check it out first, because if Joel and Lisa go snooping we could have more deaths. Speaking of deaths, it is time Trevor's car met it's demise, I like the idea of the charity idea Bridget floated a while ago, but split it 50/50. Trevor needs that garlic crusher or at least a photo of it for the cover of his book. Julie is mentioned again, hmmmmm? Great chapter CJ, looking forward to more thunderstorms on Monday!!
  23. ................I wonder what weapon Bill will have, I've already deduced it is not a firearm, despite your attempt to leave us a cliffhanger. Whatever it is, I doubt Sarah will see the light, my fear is she may try something drastic and take the boys to some camp, without Bill's knowledge. Great chapter!!
  24. ............And I always thought it to being the tiresome climb back up from the cliffs to his adobe!!
  25. ................Actually CJ lives in the mountains of Arizona and near cliffs!! I didn't notice the stainless steel connection, but didn't Ned say that there was a 2nd magnet that needed to be activated to pop it open or keep it closed and that the magnet had to be placed precisely between the 2 rivets higher up to activate?
