[Nephylim] The Face at the Window
Benji replied to Nephylim's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
......... Great chapter! We see Nick as being ashamed and Logan looking vindictive, I don't understand Ace's parents at all! What the hell are they thinking that led to the abuse of their blind son for all theses years. I was actually hoping Ace and Haze were in the room with the discussion downstairs (?) But it makes a great lead into the next chapter, somehow I get the idea if Logan tries anything on Haze he will feel the wrath of the student body once they learn of his actions against his brother, will he learn from the next discussion at Ace's place or suffer the consequences at school? I think he will not, and fall flat on his face for it, his parents will get a tongue lashings that they need, they are so wrong in their mode towards Ace. My anger here was that they were not going to let him attend the university, reminds me of the Grimm's fairy tale of Rapunzel. Nice touch Nephy!!! -

Circumnavigation 70: Meetings and Concerns

.............Great analogy ! I too believe the only crime is hiding a non-existant murder and the insurance money. What made Rachel run? That is the piece of the puzzle here, did she discover that she was being investigated or stumble into Arthur's stashed notes in the Aries? And flee for her life, either way Dirk knows the truth, and so far he is not saying other then to his boyfriend.. That is an interesting point about Rachel having brothers, I rather suddenly dismissed based on Mrs. Blakes first name, but I didn't see a possible connection to further family, however if Martin is fully aware of Trevor's situation, I'm sure the family would have come forward by now. Unless they are aware of the statute of limitations. Again interesting!!! I'd say that Shane is the most in danger right now because of the hair coloring, but Joel is next in line here. Should be a very tense next couple of chapters involving all the players, although Trevor and Shane will get to know each other very soon. -
Circumnavigation 70: Meetings and Concerns

................. Of he will definitely come out!! Then we may learn why Shane had to leave home. Looks like Mrs. Blake is named Sarah, that throws a monkey wrench into the theory Trevor's mom maybe be Mrs. Blake. Mystery in the fridge, wonder if it'd a pie floating in a soup? I think Shane and Trevor will get very close soon. It should get interesting when Joel and Lisa arrive, I wonder how they will along with Shane? Things seem to be in place for a showdown soon with Sanchez, Bridget, George, Rodriquez and Henry. -
[Andrew_Q_Gordon] Random Question of the day
Benji replied to Andrew Q Gordon's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
.............. i prefer an author that completes his/her promise to have the entire saga finished, as you have done so. So when I get one that gets stuck it is very frustrating for me. I can name a couple of authors that have half or even less of their novels completed, most beg off of writers block. I don't blame them for it but I feel cheated and frustrated all the same. Some authors promise a finished piece and post once a week, I can live with that! I hate it when an author writes like 20 stories and lapses with chapters for like six months or more. I've been hooked into too many stories that are not finished, I resent that. -
.............. Interesting question here, not sure if he the receiver or the deliverer of the sex act though. Matters not, if his libido in the act is one of dominance or submissiveness the probability of his sexuality is a no brainier here. He obviously derives pleasure from the act, so why can't he get that with a woman? Ingrained religious beliefs have made the most prolific homophobes on the planet. I say he is probably a deep latent closet case, but he has broken with the mold fit by telling you his desires.I would conclude he is a non-accepting gay man that has not found a man he could love.

Circumnavigation 69: The Great Australian Blight
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
......................... Hahaha! I really don't see that scenario happening, however Jason Kline may have put himself in danger by breaking this story, the cartel may think he is holding out on information while they look for Trevor whereabouts. This could actually lead Trevor to be on alert if the story is broken by Kline and he winds up dead. So what do you say to a circumnavigation of Australia? -
how old were you when you realised you were gay?
Benji replied to Yuki Winchestor's topic in The Lounge
.............. I realized my attraction when I was 8 years old, knew for sure when I was in the 7th grade. -
I found your poem to be very profound and very hard to read, it invokes too many memories.

Circumnavigation 69: The Great Australian Blight
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
............Actually Shane never elaborates on the girlfriend thing, just throws out hints about them, he's on a fishing expedition with Trevor, testing the waters on the subject. We know that Shane was thrown out of his home but not why yet. He only stole to survive, so I expect he wasn't thrown out of his home for being a 'bad boy thief'. I think the Blake's know the truth, maybe it will slip out and Trevor will catch on when they meet the owner. Obviously both of these guys are in a major need of gaydar tuning!! -
Circumnavigation 69: The Great Australian Blight

.............................. Indeed, another quiet chapter with no real problems other then the nightmares Trevor continues to have, I wonder if Shane will hear Trevor shout out in the middle of the night soon? Well the question of the Kookaburra being a converted Aries has been answered in the negative. I love the banter Shane and Trevor are having, Trevor's almost slipped up thinking he was talking with Joel again. Shane's culinary skills outweigh Trevor's, good thing they didn't buy any hot dogs! The blight reference must be about the asteroid that created sharks bay, because the book was titled the Great Australian Bight (water, inlet or bay) Great chapter CJ, Trevor needs the companionship and to relax for awhile! -

........................ Awwww! I love it, plus that fact that you are in your element here counselor! I did not expect the epilogue to start at the trial, perhaps my crystal ball was to dusty Anyhow, I love the set-up so far, plus the somewhat revenge factor on Jordan's fathers business dealings, maybe father and son can still bound together in prison!! -
It's Not Easy Being A Tree
Benji replied to Agincourt's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
..................... I have read all of Ronyx's works! He is a great writer, and his stories are well thought out. His last one, well I loved how he left Woody hanging with the parents on that, life is like that I guess. If I remember correctly, I had been told of a story on Comsie''s site, then got linked to 'The Mustard Jar' followed it to Codey (Damn, I miss him!!!) then found GA. My introduction to the world of gay stories started about 5 years ago, quickly became an obsession filling a long held void in my life. I agree, that anyone that wants to read other stories while the ones the are following are in hiatus should visit the above link! -

........Haha! I thought the same thing when I saw the title, a big uh uh moment! I'm very glad Peter saw that he needed therapy to continue his relationship with Jason. A great story and an added bonus of a epilogue is coming? Look forward to it and the short story of the upcoming trial, Thanks Andy! -
............... Ok a friend of mine is only 21 and is involved with a 40+ guy, if they have no problems why should I? I cannot see it for myself though, I would not have enough in common with someone 20-30 years younger then me to form a real relationship. That said I do have a 20 year old Irish kid that likes to mess around with me!

....................... Ack!! I need my fix, I declare this thread to be a cliff hanger!!
-
................. Well here is my story, I knew when I was about 8 years old, I am now 58 years old. I married at 30 with my step-fathers prompting, I did and do love her, and had a child and everything was cool until my wife had a stroke 12 years ago. She became a different person after that, crap! My life went to shit, I mean faking your straight for 28 years was not enough, I thought I could last the time. I have never taken it up (you you what I mean) but have been serviced and have serviced way before I got married. So why would a gay guy get married? SOCIETY! I so wish I was born 40 years later, but that didn't happen, 'shrug' You 'new' kids have got it a lot better and I'm very glad for it. I made my bed and that said I have been faithful, until recently, I mean I have been faithful for 28 years, and she hasn't if it wasn't for her stroke I would have left her long ago. I'm stuck in a situation I created, on the upside? I'm not dead from aids from living in SF, where I was headed back in the '70's. Long rant I understand, just needed to rant a bit!

.................. Very cute! Nice pic!

.................. Interesting read!! A little disturbing with the lighter and the fire, the mystery will continue? Good, I think a lot of holes need to be filled in ( did I really just say that?) of the story of course!! Looking forward to it!

.............. Very funny, although I admit I didn't catch on until the last paragraph!
