...............Yes you are correct there, it comes down to equal rights. Which are not acknowledged by all the states, if one partner should fall ill in a vacationing state, the other may have no recourse. Marriage solves everything, some 1,300 benefits come with it without expensive wills and other documents needed drawn up. The fight for equality is for the ones that want to get married and enjoy the rights afforded to other tax-paying people. The distinction is all over equality, not over the choice of getting married.

.............Well, I'm back!! I was really looking forward to reading this chapter. Bridget sure knows a lot about Trevor, I still wonder if she wrangled the information out of Julie, or did Julie just offer it? Telling Bridget that Trevor is gay doesn't seem like something Julie would just do, unless she was involved in the business with Bridget. I would have blamed Lisa, but Bridget said she knew Trevor was gay for a long time! I suspect that Trevor will find the bomb while changing out the tank that he knows is supposed to be empty but weighing too much! Great chapter CJ!

Is Trevor's hesitancy with Bridget because he has a little resentment with women assuming he doesn't know what he is doing, or a general 6th sense of a feeling of Bridget? ..... Getting very close to a sticky situation here after Joel leaves! The flotilla should be interesting, and a couple of pirates will add some excitement to the story!! Great chapter CJ!! The haggling was done very well with Joel making off the best of the shop owner here, he could not have done a better deal then he did as an amateur 'haggler' LOL! The most interesting thing I found in the chapter was the reemergence of Julie! I combed back through the chapters to see if Julie was friend or foe here seeing her link to Bridget. And it seems to be she is more friend then foe, but was Bridget pumping Julie for information about Trevor's travels into the Bahamas? Or was Julie supplying the information as an accomplice? Remember only two people know of Trevors hiding spot on the Atlantis (reminiscently of Bridgets husbands attempt?) that being Julie and his father, until Trevor shared that with Joel. There may be a significance to that detail, which muddles the water on Julie! Oh, on the rough seas? If you can't stand to get a little wet don't go out there!!!

...........I don't think Bridget's husband was alive when the Atlantis came along, but was living on the Aries for a while soon after his daughters death. Bridget could have had a compartment built on the Atlantis, but Trevor has been over every inch of that boat, I'm sure he would of found it and not built his own.

.........Maybe, but if the answers lie within Australia I have a feeling he is not being truthful here!!! (Aussies and goats you know) Yet, I have no doubt that Dirk is the father of Trevor,he passed off 'gene' of the gayness one. Number two I cannot see Rachel in an adulterous relationship that Bridget was not aware of. Bridget was attune to everything that was going on after all, well maybe except the hidden compartment that her late husband installed aboard the Aries. Graeme may be right, but then again everything points to Australia, making him suspect!!!

............You know what, I cannot absolve him of his crimes, but I do have a bit of admiration for him. This kid broke out of a halfway house and eluded the law for two years before finally getting caught in the Bahamas. Again don't take me wrong, he is a criminal and needs to be adjucated, but for him to elude the law for years is a mastery of his skills as a criminal. I read that he was a thief as early as 12 years old and continued until sentencing at age 14, where he escaped at age 16 and eluded the police for 2 years. Not condoning his actions at all, but this is kinda of like a modern 'Catch Me If You Can' escapee of a criminal persona.

.............Good point on the statue of limitation of federal racketeering! But in the narration it said........'she and Dirk had taken title to Atlantis in the name of their son, Trevor.' Is this another clue? It was easy money and Rachel knew she’d need it....

............Very interesting chapter! We now know that Rachel was being investigated by the Feds. being set-up by Bridget. Too bad there was not any co-operation between the Feds. and the local police, it could have shed a new light into the investigation. Great chapter! CJ
