Nick dammit! Don’t you realize who you have, what you’re looking for is your roommate?! Ugh. I like this Jack. Not sure what brought it about but I hope it stays. I hope Nick catches on quickly. But alas, I fear that Noah will do what he did again but worse or something worse to break Nick’s trust and I hope it’s Jack he runs too and Jack is the one who kisses him first to wake him the fuck up.

I still sense apprehension with Luke. Not in a lack of self confidence way as much although that too is there, I sense more of a disconnect with Jackson. I know people see them getting more in sync but I struggle there. I noticed it when Luke took Jackson to the underground spring. Their career ambitions are so different. It’s like Luke is aware of this but afraid to take that thought further. It’s like he’s afraid of being hurt or at least knowing he will if he continues to keep this up. But, for now, he’s enjoying the time as best he can. I am not so sure he realizes what he’s feeling though. But he’s definitely unsure about something and I’m not sure it’s what his mother thinks or will do this time.

No I get it. But, with Simon you don’t really have to. All Luke has to do is watch casually. Luke isn’t stupid. He’s observant. He’d see the applications and possibilities immediately. BUT it’s like anything else, until you actually see it in front of your face, that believe it can be you too, isn’t really there.

All I’ll say is that this swim team tradition is the perfect opportunity for Luke to see what he and Jackson could have by watching Charlie and Simon. Simon has been a quiet character. Maybe he’s just comfortable enough with his sexuality that he can help Luke out of this paralysis

I agree but the thing to remember is they’re 18 and THAT level of maturity probably hasn’t developed yet. Not that it won’t. I Just think the determining factor will definitely be Cindy. Frankly, Luke needs to grow a set and tell his mother to fuck off. SHE hasn’t respected him once this entire story. Henry however, I think knows they’re messing around. He has to have seen the pics on Luke’s phone. That’s a difficult position for him to be in.. I think Jackson has to push Luke to either come out to his mother, make the decision on college and if he wants to follow Jackson to Georgia or not. Luke isn’t a leader. He’s a follower. That’s what his mother groomed him to be. Hopefully Jackson can change that.

I guess my point with the cat is 1) they bathe themselves. 2) they’re assholes with fur. 3) yeah I know there are ways and tricks to it now (my sister is a vet tech but to do so but it hardly seems worth the effort and little gain and a high probability of bleeding? The odds are not in my favor

Essentially, Jackson got all spun up overreacting when Luke got spooked by his mother starting to sub for the rest of the year and Luke essentially shut down communication and socializing at school and that bled over into after school too. Yeah Cindy is a real piece of work. Then, of course when Jackson got a chance to talk to Luke neither of them listened to what the other was saying. They heard each other, but not what was said then got stubborn when they got mad at each other because they both thought the other was being distant deliberately not realizing why it happened.

I didn’t listen when I was told something very similar a long time ago either. I think teenagers forget how to to listen sometimes.

Ha! We stolen3 golf carts from the local course in town. We literally drove them down Main Street to the school. Parked one on the 50 yard line of the football field, one in the principal’s parking space, and one on The Hill to the practice field which Coach used for team punishments when we slacked off or fucked up. A 20 yard tall hill with a 35 degree incline. The kicker of the prank, we took the batteries and tires off all the carts and took the lug nuts with us. Sigh..good times.

All I can say after how Cindy treated Jackson at the door was RUDE! Her prim and proper ass would be all bent the hell out of shape if she was on the receiving end of that. Jackson ok fine you took a mental health day and that’s fair. Going to swim was probably the best thing to do in this case. I think you’re in your head too much. Luke will follow you anywhere at this point when it comes to college. YOU need to prioritize yourself. If you want to swim. Fucking swim. The rest will fall into place.

At first I was like wtf ..Jack you’re in your own head stfu. And then when Luke basically attacked him I was all like YAAAAAAAAAAAA! FINALLY. And it was hot. So hot. Bravo! Now Jackson and own Districts and dominate like he has the potential to.
