I guess my point with the cat is 1) they bathe themselves. 2) they’re assholes with fur. 3) yeah I know there are ways and tricks to it now (my sister is a vet tech but to do so but it hardly seems worth the effort and little gain and a high probability of bleeding? The odds are not in my favor

Essentially, Jackson got all spun up overreacting when Luke got spooked by his mother starting to sub for the rest of the year and Luke essentially shut down communication and socializing at school and that bled over into after school too. Yeah Cindy is a real piece of work. Then, of course when Jackson got a chance to talk to Luke neither of them listened to what the other was saying. They heard each other, but not what was said then got stubborn when they got mad at each other because they both thought the other was being distant deliberately not realizing why it happened.

I didn’t listen when I was told something very similar a long time ago either. I think teenagers forget how to to listen sometimes.

Ha! We stolen3 golf carts from the local course in town. We literally drove them down Main Street to the school. Parked one on the 50 yard line of the football field, one in the principal’s parking space, and one on The Hill to the practice field which Coach used for team punishments when we slacked off or fucked up. A 20 yard tall hill with a 35 degree incline. The kicker of the prank, we took the batteries and tires off all the carts and took the lug nuts with us. Sigh..good times.

Boy when they’re being stubborn against each other you’d have an easier time trying to floss a cat without drugging them first.

All I can say after how Cindy treated Jackson at the door was RUDE! Her prim and proper ass would be all bent the hell out of shape if she was on the receiving end of that. Jackson ok fine you took a mental health day and that’s fair. Going to swim was probably the best thing to do in this case. I think you’re in your head too much. Luke will follow you anywhere at this point when it comes to college. YOU need to prioritize yourself. If you want to swim. Fucking swim. The rest will fall into place.

At first I was like wtf ..Jack you’re in your own head stfu. And then when Luke basically attacked him I was all like YAAAAAAAAAAAA! FINALLY. And it was hot. So hot. Bravo! Now Jackson and own Districts and dominate like he has the potential to.

Ok. The girl’s passive aggressive argument at lunch was hilarious. The guidance counselor is a joke and is not to be trusted. She’s trying to stay relevant me thinks and yeah she’s totally telling Cindy. Cindy going to grandma’s is well timed. I think Luke is getting to the point he DGAF what his mother thinks and will do. Not yet but soon. I think Jackson and Ally might heal some, but never enough for her. She’s still shallow af. Heather too. They wrought this on themselves if they feel they look bad now whatever this is in their perspective. Funny thing is, it’s nothing bc it’s high school and honestly, nobody cares. Get over yourselves. Making noise and drama over it only makes them look worse. The best way for Luke and Jackson to handle being outed is to act nonchalant. It takes away any power any potential bully will have.

Ok Cindy congratulations, by making Luke a literal shut in you absolutely guaranteed he is going to ghost your ass as soon as the opportunity permits and for a while. Man, IF my mother did that to me, I’d be speaking strictly to my father but would never show up for any holiday function until she fixed her shit and even then she’s the one who’d be grounded from contact from me. At 18, I’d be looking for an apartment and she’d not know where the fuck I am. As for Jackson, it’s a good thing Tony gave him those packets when he did. He’s teetering on breakdown. Right now he’s on autopilot and I can testify that’s not the healthiest place to be. Still though, 9?! You go boy! I worry that the cellphone idea, while brilliant, will come back to bite them and hard. But maybe not. Maybe it’d be a wake up call to Cindy. Although I doubt it. At the moment however, I think it might have come in the nick of time for Luke too as I’m sure he’s doing just as bad as Jackson.

Ok wait a minute..so just randomly Luke just asks Jackson’s mom if she knows without context as if she’s going to pick up on it and then she plays it cool letting Jackson cut off the answer by completing the question as more of a way to distract? Then she whispers it to Jackson and ..nothing ? That’s it? Totally did not see that coming at all. Maybe I’ve got it wrong I don’t know. But that last scene kind of seemed like Luke gave in to his anxieties and just blurted it out to Grace for confirmation I guess and then she had the sense to keep his anxieties at bay some by not answering truthfully out loud. I guess it just seemed anticlimactic to me . anyway so she knows and now..what? Save the conversation until morning I guess.
